After a tree fell on our home and…read morecaused over $100,000 in damage, we were understandably overwhelmed and very cautious about who we trusted with such a major repair. From start to finish, this team was exceptional. Their pricing aligned with our insurance budget, the quality of workmanship was outstanding, and every phase of the project was handled with professionalism and care. Communication was clear, timely, and consistent -- we always knew what was happening and what to expect next, which made a stressful situation far more manageable. They stayed on schedule, respected our home, and delivered exactly what they promised. The final result exceeded our expectations, and the craftsmanship truly shows. It is incredibly rare to find a company that combines fair pricing, excellent work, strong communication, and reliability -- but this one absolutely does. We would not hesitate to recommend them and are truly grateful for the work they did restoring our home.

We have nothing but praise for our experience with Arndt Construction. Nate was quick with…read morecommunication, reliable, and professional in all his interactions. Of the three estimates we got for our roof replacement, his estimate was the most detailed, outlining all materials as well as the customer's expectations for the process. Arndt's prices were very competitive (enough so that we were also able to afford an upgrade to our gutters), and we were amazed at how quickly the work was completed. As promised, his crew arrived at 7:00 am (professional, friendly, and focused!), and at 1:00 pm they had cleaned up the yard and were leaving. Nate provided the invoice, all photos and Certificate of Completion on the spot- I was able to submit all the documentation to my insurance company 30 minutes later. One of the best experiences we've ever had with a contractor. Highly recommended!

Capital Roofing and Exteriors (CRE) handled repairs to my porch and fascia after a tree strike in…read moreearly December. Jesse and his crew were responsive and eager to coordinate directly with my insurance provider, which helped move the process along--but not without some concerns. To start with the positives: Jesse is communicative and aggressive about pushing the claim through insurance. Once work began, the repairs were done relatively quickly. He clearly wants to keep things moving and keep the client informed. However, the full process--from damage to completion--dragged into early April. A lot of that delay falls on the insurance company, but not all. CRE can be a bit too eager to upsell or stretch the scope of work to fit what insurance might cover, and that added some complexity and delay. More importantly, the execution left a lot to be desired. The fascia and trim work ended up dented, scuffed, and uneven in places. Nails were bent over instead of properly seated. Cosmetic flaws that shouldn't be present after a professional repair. And the biggest issue: the roofing subcontractors were extremely sloppy. They left debris scattered across my yard and nails in my driveway--one of which ended up in my tire. That kind of carelessness really undercut any goodwill. In summary: Jesse is responsive and energetic, and CRE will push your claim hard. But expect to keep a close eye on the job, especially the subs, and don't expect perfection on finish work. Solid in some areas, disappointing in others.

I had a metal roof installed in 2018. I had on-going problems with it until the pandemic hit…read more After the pandemic I couldn't find that roofer and a handyman seemed to fix the problems. Unfortunately, the leaks started again this March. I got estimates and Kyle seemed to make the most sense. He showed me pictures and explained carefully how the metal roof was bad and that installation caused damage to the siding. I got financing through him and signed contracts. His contract included getting the permits and a GAF warranty on the roofing materials! A week or so later he and his crew were here to install a newer roof. He found what was causing the problems and made the corrections needed. Even when I disagreed with Kyle about 2 of 3 skylights, he found me a solution. Then, they came back and installed new siding. There were days of banging and shaking during the installations, but the results are gorgeous! Take pictures before the work is done so everything can be put back where you had it. He and his crew were considerate, patient, and very professional! Hopefully, I now have a secure home without moisture building up and a roof that will not leak for at least 10 years! I live on Maryland's Lower Eastern Shore. My home's roof had experienced some wind damage. My wife…read moreis acquainted with Adam Whitaker through her work. I scheduled an appointment with Adam to give me an estimate on repairs and a price to completely replace the roof. The information for a complete roof replacement would be for a later date, I simply wanted an idea of how much it would end up costing. Adam, who is trained and experienced in insurance worked, suggested that the damage might be something covered under my homeowners insurance. I reached out to my insurer and opened a claim. Adam communicated with and personally met with the insurance adjuster at my home to inspect and discuss the damage. My insurance did cover a complete roof replacement minus my deductible. On the day of the roof tear off and install (4/14/2020), a crew of nine was at my house at 7:10 a.m. ready to go. At 5:00 p.m. my home had a beautiful new roof. Being retired, I spent a good portion of the day outside watching the crew work. There wasn't a slacker in the bunch. Except for the 20-minutes they took for a lunch break, all nine guys were full throttle throughout the entire day. When they were done and before the crew left, I did a walk around the entire perimeter of the house with a foreman from Arocon to ensure the property was clean to my satisfaction. I couldn't even tell that just hours earlier the yard was covered in old three tab shingles and tar paper. It was like I never had work done that day. The only thing that was visible to show that a full day's work had been done was the beautiful new roof with architectural shingles which added value and curb appeal to my home. So impressive was the crew, that towards the end my wife arrived home from work and commented about the size of the crew. I acknowledged the nine man crew. She told me there were 13 men on the crew. Sure enough, during a time when I was in the house, a four man crew had finished a job 25-miles away and instead of heading home, they came to my job and chipped in to help the nine man crew finish sooner. Now that's some impressive teamwork. Before the crew had even finished packing all their materials and tools, I had three different employees from Arocon called me to inquire if I was satisfied with how everything was going with the install. Would I recommend Arocon? In a heartbeat. From my initial visit with Adam to my fist bump (Covid-19) with Levi, Arocon's foreman, when he and the crew were leaving, this was a positive and most impressive experience. And as a grizzly old retired cop, I'm not easily impressed.

One thing I have to state is, Willian showed up on trash day. I moved my trashcan down the street a little as to not disturb their work. When the trashman came I was waiting, and he asked me for a bottle of water. Before I could go in the house, Willian hopped in the back of his truck and got 3 for the trashmen.
