This is a no brainer for my imaginative girl. We just love Code Central. My 7-year old daughter took a free trial class here in July 2017. She started coding with her dad at home and really took a liking to coding. So when we heard about Code Central, we checked it out. The summer got busy and we never got sidetracked. Fast forward to September 2017 and we officially signed up. Been there ever since and it's AWESOME!!! This place has a good energy. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. All the kids look excited to learn and more importantly, they have fun. We've met and talked to the owner Eric many times. Really nice guy. He always asks how our daughter is enjoying the coding classes. Coding classes are an hour per session. We tested out the premium coding package which is 8 classes per month. Life got busy and it was a bit much with school and other activities so we downgraded to the regular coding package of 4 classes per month. That worked out just fine. Code Central is closed on Mondays and Fridays. Their hours of operation are 3-7pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays. 10am-2pm on Saturdays. 12pm-3pm on Sundays. The kids arrive to Code Central, sign in by scanning their ID barcode or input phone number into tablet at the front desk. Kids code for an hour with a snack break during class. All the kids gather in the back area, grab a snack and mingle with fellow classmates. At the end of class, each kid gets to spin the wheel to earn points which can be tallied up and used towards prizes. If you wear your Code Central t-shirt, bracelet or bring the Code Central water bottle...extra points! I must say that every single staff member we have encountered here is personable and eager to help these kids by making coding fun. Lincoln, Jose, Callie and McKian are our favorites. Sorry McKian if I butchered the spelling of your name. But like I said, every staff member rocks even if I don't know their names personally. Lincoln is the new GM of the Henderson location and he greets everyone that walks through the door. He knows every kid's name and greets them accordingly. Always a smile on his face and always so nice. He also makes sure each kid that leaves after class to meet their parents outside are safe and sound. Side note, Lincoln looks a lot like Joel McHale from Comedy Central. Ha. Jose, Callie and McKian are the coding instructors. They are always the sweetest with my daughter who is very shy and introverted. Going to Code Central is one of her favorite things to do. I read some of the other reviews about customers who were not acknowledged when they walk into Code Central and staff not being friendly. That's hard for me to believe as we've been coming here since September and we have never had that experience nor have I ever seen that happen. We are grateful for Code Central and teaching our daughter coding in a fun environment. If you're unsure, do the free trial class and give it a whirl. I think you'll like it. Educational and fun is key. read more

He even attended online classes when in person classes were canceled due to COVID in 2020! He earns points or credits and gets gift cards for his video game account. He loves it. We love this place!! Our son is on the autism spectrum and we were looking for a coding program that would embrace him and make him feel comfortable and accommodate him. We decided that the one on one sessions with Monica were best for him, and he absolutely loves her! And I told him me and my wife both heard 9:30, and he changed his words saying that he left message to other people to message us that it got changed to 9:15.
