Booked The Coda for one night. The location is super convenient in Williamsburg. One night on a random weekday came out to $182. It's a small boutique hotel with a nice, clean lobby. The rooms, however, are very small, which is something to keep in mind. The bathroom was a highlight though. Great toiletries and everything felt well maintained. Love the minimalistic vibe!

Watering the street is the main priority at this hotel. No coffee. No A/C @ 75F. And they won't move while watering the street.

Visited our daughter in Brooklyn over Memorial Day weekend. Stayed at CODA Williamsburg so that we could explore the neighborhood and use the pool. The neighborhood is great. Nice to walk to coffee shops, restaurants, the park and the waterfront. The views from the Marsha P. Johnson State Park overlooking Manhattan are stunning. The service and amenities at CODA Williamsburg are not up to the standards that I would expect for the price that we paid for three nights. First, service is not existent. We lodged multiple concerns during our stay and then got a hotel satisfaction survey immediately after checking out. We were then given the phone number and email address of the CODA Williamsburg hotel manager to voice our issues. These concerns still were never addressed despite calling the hotel, setting up a meeting date and time (which was cancelled by the CODA staff for an emergency) and then calling and emailing the hotel manager again. On a weekend that was quite warm, the air conditioning would not cool below 75F, even when we set it to 65F as recommended by the hotel staff. To lodge a concern for that and the plumbing issues with the toilet running continuously, we had to go down and speak to someone at the front desk, as no one answered the phone. There was no way to call from our room, so I had to call from my cell phone to attempt, unsuccessfully, to reach the front desk. Then the attendant at the front desk may or may not write down our issue. My husband was able to fix the toilet, but he could not fix the A/C. We were charged a pricy resort fee which included access to the pool. However, you could only book two slots for your entire stay and there were not slots available for convenient times for us even though we were guests at the hotel. It would have been nice to have had a morning or evening swim when the "resort" guests left. So, we never were able to use this amenity despite being charged for the experience. Surprised that there were daily delays in coffee being prepared and limited places to drink or wait for the coffee to be made in the morning. Coffee is by a large pot which ran out quickly several days of our trip. Again, it would have been nice to sit outside by the pool, which we were told that we could only use if we had been able to book a reservation. Apparently, they do not do daily housekeeping, but they did not let us know that when we checked in. This lack of room daily cleaning was an issue for wet towels as there was only one hook in the bathroom. We then hung up one towel in the hook in the bathroom and the other on the one desk chair in the room to dry. It was also odd to look for the towels in the closet and not in the bathroom. Don't even ask about the low bed. Like being in Japan (which is the best), but without the hospitality and five star service. The worst experience was on our last day. There was an exceptionally rude employee washing the sidewalk as I exited and entered the hotel. He continued to spray water despite myself and other hotel guests passing his "work" station. This gentleman was so dismissive of my concerns walking by him as I entered and exited the main lobby. He actually told me when I said I was concerned about slipping as he continued to wash the sidewalk that I should have better balance. Shocking!! I was surprised to receive a survey as we walked to the subway asking about our stay after I had just told all of the concerns in this review to the front desk when we checked out less than ten minutes earlier. So I immediately responded to that message. Both my husband and I ranked our stay as a 2/5. This is a very low rating for both of us. It was quite disappointing because the location is so nice, but the service was not.

This review is for its day pass for the pool. Summer days can be painful in NYC so when u find a cool place to enjoy the day it tends to make the day much better, these guys offer one of the better day passes that is still reasonable. We checked in & settled down, depending on which pass u have & of course what's available will determine where u sit, we sat by the corner seats. Once settled drinks Montauk summer ale, also tried Coney Island mermaid Pilsner I do like the summer ale best, both good. On the food we had Dumplings & chicken wings not bad. This place has a nice vibe, good music playing pool is a good size & seems like they keep it at a reasonable amount of people which is good & makes the experience a lot nicer since it wasn't overcrowded. Good day pass & a nice way to spend an afternoon, worth the time to check it out, when summer rolls around I will for sure keep this place in mind.

The best experience I've ever had at a hotel staff were kind, courteous, and very helpful with all experience. For New York City, the broom sizes are quite large bathrooms are beautiful with a nice marble finish. I can't say enough about the code to Williamsburg and I cannot wait to come back and visit with family again shout out to the Dakota team. Can't wait to see you guys again.

Visited back in July of 2023 and this place is so cute. I don't know if I can call it a boutique hotel, but it's not ginormous with 300+ rooms, and if it is, it sure didn't feel like it. The hubby and I were visiting the east coast, and wanted to stay in Brooklyn where our niece lives. There are a few things that were a MUST, so we ended up at Coda, which was great. First off, there are LOTS Of hotel options in Brooklyn, but bc I required a gym, it narrowed down our options significantly. Location within Brooklyn was also important. Coda was close to all the eateries I had researched and wanted to visit, and it was an easy walk to a subway. We were able to subway to the Met's game easily and safely. This area was safe as we walked most nights to our dinner reservations. The hotel itself is very nice. I got a slightly larger room which was nice. The bed is comfy, the view of the pool was nice. I was scared the music from below would be too loud, but the windows did a good job keeping the sound out. The hotel boasts a modern décor, and room and grounds are nice and clean. One day after we had been out, we were locked out, so they escorted us to the pool to wait while they were fixing our room door. As we were waiting, staff offered us a drink which we figured was complimentary, but it was not. All good, bc their margarita was really good. Later, the onsite manager, Ronny came by to apologize. He said he would make it right and he sure did. He sent up a bottle of Veuve. Aside this little mishap with the margaritas, we were very satisfied with our stay. Not sure if this was only bc we booked via Booking.com, but there were no resort fees, which was nice. Also, I think I read the elevator was slow, but we didn't experience this. Pool is nice, but we never went by other than to wait for our room door to be fixed. It's a happenin' pool and if I understand correctly, there are fees to sit/swim. Gym is HUGE. AC works but pool peeps kept going in and out, so it was warm in the middle of July bc the AC shut off when peeps kept the doorway open to go to the bathroom, located at gym. Overall a great stay and would totally stay here again.

This place was such a vibe. I came here to have a chill pool day after my birthday weekend. I booked the beach club using Resort Pass app. Everything was seamless during checkin and James, the manager, was so helpful and friendly. It was so relaxing, and calm. The food and drinks were very good, and I definitely enjoyed the empanadas. I certainly plan on coming back next summer and more often. I wished I found this gem sooner.

This hotel is fantastic. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are great (I had the room with a patio). The hotel is in the heart of Williamsburg, so you can literally walk anywhere in the vicinity and enjoy. Highly recommended.

Coda feels like the hamptons but without the long drive. This review is for the pool only. The scene is cute. Especially the striped chairs. The food, drinks, music and ambiance are all a ten out of ten. After looking at the photos for about a year I finally booked a pool chair to enjoy an nyc summer day and this place did not disappoint. Trust me I've been to a few pool at the hotels in nyc so go ahead and add this one to your list. It's the biggest one so far. I love it here. I'll definitely be back. The 30 min Lyft drive from the ues won't stop me. Shoutout to the entire staff that made sure the day was awesome. The juice here is definitely worth the squeeze.

It is about a 16-20 minute walk to the water area. I felt pretty safe at the hotel and the surrounding area. It is easy for ubers, taxis and ride share services to pick up and drop off. The room was comfortable for both my friend and I. There were two beds in our room which is exactly the type of room we booked. We did have issues with the AC. I am hoping they repaired it and looked into it after we left. It was warm in the room for s little, but by the time it was getting late it cooled down and I slept comfortably. Opening the window was not going to be an option. I would not sleep well to the ASMR sounds of NYC in real life. HEHE. They were helpful though. Overall this is a great hotel to stay at if you are wanting to be on the Brooklyn/Dumbo area. Perfect stay and the cost was not too bad. I was able to use points.
