This is a little hut that sells fresh coconut. I mean the freshest possible. They chop off the outside and give you a straw. Once your done drinking the fresh coconut juice, you can come back for them to cut it open so you can eat the flesh. It is so refreshing. Plus they have it refrigerated so it's cooled and not like those stands where it's sittig in the hot sun. They have other drinks as well, we also got a thai tea which was so good. I don't know if it was because it was hot and it tasted refreshing but it went well with our lunch that we had across the street. read more

Good food and decent food prices for Kauai.... The pad see ew was tasty, not spicy at all which is odd for us.... Smoothies and fruits are pretty expensive here though... Pineapples in Hawaii grow in the jungle and al over and then are $7 here when they are $1.50 in Arizona after they are imported from Hawaii.... Lol.... $7-$10 for coconuts is a new crazy high though!!!! These are all over in trees so I'll just stick to taking them myself at the beach and pupping then open there. People need to be able to make money but it gets carried away in touristic areas.... read more

The reviews are so mixed. I feel fortunate i had a positive experience. We were getting baked from the sun while hiking around Waimea Canyon and Coconut Corner was a little shop on the side of the road heading back into town. What is more refreshing than coconut water? Went for the extra large and we were told once we finished drinking the coconut water, we could come back and get the meat cut out for a few more $. It didn't take long to finish the jumbo sized coconut. We left with huge chunks of coconut meat to snack on! I shared an order of the Pad Thai with Shrimp. The shrimp is amazing but this seemed more expensive than necessary. Still, a great post hike snack. read more

We stopped here after a hike and ordered lunch and bought some fruit while we waited. the pre cut mango was not fresh and tasted bland. We were the only people there and waited almost a half hour for the food and when I went up to inquire about the food, they weren't even cooking it yet. unfortunately, I gave a 25% tip when I ordered. keep driving past this place, plenty of places to eat here where the staff won't just ignore you. read more

Ordered MANGO + PINEAPPLE + PAPAYA smoothie and it was so good. 3 choice fruit 16 oz smoothie for $9 was bit expensive but it was the best smoothie flavor I've had. I also tried fresh coconut but they only have the warm room temperature ones and was not my favorite. read more

We stopped here on the way back from hiking in the Waimea Canyon. The fresh coconut hit the spot! We drank it then brought it back to them to crack open to eat the meat. It was a young coconut - really good! We also got 1 tub each of their pre-cut mango and dragon fruit. These were ripe and delicious as well. $5/tub was a little expensive, but it was a nice way for us 2 tourists to try the fruit without buying whole fruits. read more

Great family run spot right on the main road on the way back from Kōkee. Ended up swinging by here in passing multiple times on my trip to grab some freshly cut pineapple and mango. The smoothie with passionfruit, mango and pineapple was nice and not too sweet. The thai food was also flavorful and very vegan friendly - both the pineapple curry with tofu and some apple banana lumpias were excellent. read more

Absolutely way over priced. And the fruit is not local, mangoes are from Mexico. A sat there waiting for my $15 dollar papaya salad watching one of the employees peeling off the Mexican stickers.. $10 dollars for a coconut and and Papaya that we're also not from the island, but just to be curious I asked if this was local fruit and of course they said yes, not knowing that I owned a produce company and know the origin of fruit I'm looking at, save your money here, there a plenty of other places on the island that aren't so crooked and dishonest. read more

Absolutely 5 stars. We spotted this place while driving. What got our attention was fresh coconut water. So we pulled over and happy we did it. Fresh coconut water was just amazing. They have enough shaded seating. They don't have parking, so try to find the parking on road. read more

Very cute family owned food spot off the side of the road. We stumbled upon it on our way to waimea canyon and were very happy we found it. We got to grab snacks (pineapple jelly cookies were a hit) for our hike and got fresh smoothies which were wonderful. Food Thai food with accommodating options for vegans and vegetarians (no fish sauce, yay!!). We ordered the pad see ew with tofu, fried rice with tofu, curry, and mango sticky rice and a pineapple juice. The mango sticky rice was delicious and the rice was extra sticky and dense. So while delicious and but annoying. We'd still get it again if we were coming by tho. Fried rice was mediocre but the pad see ew was a winner. Pineapple juice was fresh and refreshing but not worth the $$. Service was EXCELLENT. Very kind, welcoming, and efficient. 3 stars because the food was good but not great. It was nice having a sure vegetarian/vegan option but food was a bit bland and still relatively pricey for a lunch. Main complaint was the place was covered in flies. It was very irritating eating while swatting flies all the time. I get that it's the weather and the fruits display outside but still annoying. I'd go to the taco shop across the street for vegetarians instead. read more

Located opposite to the awesome Island Tacos right next to the pretty decent shrimp station, Coconut Corner is guaranteed to have a good amount of traffic. After all, who wouldn't want a cold coconut to cool off some island heat after a full meal? The coconuts are not cheap. Even the tiniest one cost over $5. I had one and it was no where as good as the flavorful sweet ones I had on some Southeast Asia tropical islands. They will open up your coconut when you are done so you can scrap off the meat to eat. Do not under estimate the stomach filling power of the coconut. I got really full afterwards. It had fun but it was also rather overpriced. read more

This fruit stand is OK, but their smoothies are pretty expensive. $9 for a tropical smoothie? I know it's Kauai and I know everything is really expensive but the cost didn't really justify the item. The smoothie was good, but it wasn't mind-blowing. At least the fruit was fresh though! read more

We were attracted by the very nice colors and the coconuts outside.These smoothies are just perfect very fresh and very tasty. The were sold out of the House fired chicken so we got the Pad Thai and Vegetable stir fry.The Pad Thai had lots of noodles and needed more flavor.Stir fry was good and had nice sauce at the bottom which made the rice and the vegetables have lots of flavor. read more

Customer service is not at the top of this little business' list, but it's not a bad joint to go for a refreshingly chilled coconut. I may not have a lot experience in the coconut department,but I can tell you this was delish! This weighted beverage to-go would've probably been better had I spent a few extra dollars to get the meat cut out. I was slightly sad that I had to miss out and that extra treat, but I'll know for next time. I'm glad we could swing by here before heading up to Waimea Canyon. read more

Bland. As the menu says.. all orders served mild and no fish sauce. Ordered tofu pad Thai and vegi red curry. Curry was very 'watery'. Tasty but no need to create volume of sauce by adding water. Ruined it. Pad Thai was band and a bit sweet. Try the seemingly fresh chili sauce on each dish to greatly improve flavor. Not the Thai you want if you know Thai But there art not many options in that area either read more

Visited this place on Aug. 21, 2019 for lunch. Customer service was the WORST! No Aloha spirit. Lady is very rude. You would think they would want customers to return. We ordered chicken pad thai. Definitely does not taste authentic. The taste is EXTREMELY bland. Not worth my $12. read more

I have mad love for coconut water. Ever since I traveled to the Bahamas when I was a kid and drank juice straight from the nut, I've been down with the stuff. And nothing beats fres coconut water from a cold, green coconut. After almost a week on Kauai and not finding any coconuts falling off of trees for me to crack, I bit the bullet and stopped a one of the ubiquitous roadside stands for some nut nectar. Coconut corner happened to be near the place we stopped for lunch so it seemed as good as any. The place was quiet and I'm guessing the price of the coconuts is why. The second size up from the smallest was $7.25! Now I have no idea if that standard on the island, but damn these things do grow on trees all over the islands, if I'm not mistaken, and while it's not quite as good, I can get twice the volume in a can imported from Thailand for less than a third of the price. I do have t say, the cold, fresh, full coconut was insanely refreshing and super tasty. Not sure I'd pay tha price for a second one, though. read more

Put this establishment on the top of your list of places NOT to visit. As a local from Oahu who has visited other outer islands such as Molokai, Maui, and the big island, this business stands for all that is anti-aloha. Aside from attempting to sell me a $10 coconut, the lady behind the counter had the audacity to state that it'll cost an extra buck to cut it open for me. Not even in the worst hawaii tourist trap (Waikiki) does a coconut go for more than $3. Look lady, I can see the tree you picked the coconut from. I had so much fun here. The owner and worker, Monica, were so friendly and helpful. We ordered a medium coconut - which looked like a large to me! It was ice cold and sweet! Perfect! We drove up to the canyon then stopped again on our way back. They took our coconut and opened it for us and scraped out the meat inside. It wasn't that big and parking was not a problem since they have regular parking for the strip mall. Walking through the aisles and looking at the different people that brought their produce to sell was very fun. I started seeing a different kind of pineapple. These pineapples are white and inside and you can eat the entire pineapple. The core is soft and not hard and it is edible. The prices for these are a lot more than a regular pineapples. I noticed that it was different prices for different sizes of pineapple. They were selling them for 16 and $20 per pineapple. My wife thought that she saw these pineapples at Costco so we waited and didn't buy one. To find out that Costco doesn't sell these and the produce guy was laughing and he said wish that we could sell them since they're good. So we will have to go back to one of the farmers market to get one of these pineapples to try. It was so nice to see all the vendors here at the farmers market. They had lots of fruit and a lot of them look so pretty and fresh. We will have to come back and purchase some next time.

He offered us a sample of ripe papaya, and we asked to purchase one. Instead, he quickly placed three papayas into a bag and told us it was a better deal. Because we were managing two children, we felt rushed and did not inspect each one before leaving. When we returned to our hotel, all three papayas were badly rotten, smelled terrible, and were completely inedible. Based on how quickly the vendor selected and bagged the fruit himself, this did not feel like an innocent mistake. Please inspect every piece of fruit carefully, choose it yourself, and do not allow anyone to rush you into buying more than you requested. We were extremely disappointed and wanted to warn other shoppers.

I look forward to this one because it's one of the bigger, more established farmers market. A few years back, I think it was located at the parking lot of the community college itself with more food trucks. The vendors are friendly & most give out samples. I am more inclined to purchase if the vendor is generous with samples (hint hint wink wink) Of note, it's in a grassy area & can get pretty murky/muddy after a rain. Parking is where you can find it at the park. There's of course fresh fruits & vegetables in season, cooked foods (Filipino, Thai, Korean & much more). The one that stood out was the Honey (Yellow) watermelon-- the vendor was all smiles & offered generous samples of the fruit. Oh my, my, my!! It was so sweet, crisp & mouthwateringly delicious! I couldn't pass it up. The sticker price was by size & I asked the vendor to pick a good one for me-- Yokes! $14 Wowzah. That's the most I have ever paid for any watermelon EVER. I was planning on getting my veggies here for my Sinigang (Filipino sour soup): got Ongchoy (kang-kong), okra & small taro--it is called gabi in Tagalog & gandus in Kapampangan. I love gandus coz is definitely creamier in texture compared to the big taro that is used for making poi.
