I highly recommend Angie as a manicurist. She is amazing at what she does, and my nails always look beautiful thanks to her excellent work and attention to detail. Every time I leave Cocoa Nail, I'm so happy with the results. Angie is truly talented and professional. Also, Johanna and the rest of the team are always kind, attentive, and willing to help, which makes the experience even better. Cocoa Nail is a wonderful place! read more

Jhoanna is so good and friendly. The service here is exceptional and the staff is warm and kind. Definitely recommended for gel manicure. However beware if you are trying to get design some of the staff aren't as skilled in doing copying designs. read more

My experience was wonderful. Would definitely recommend! Zero language barrier with Ling & the male owners, which is super important for the experience. They have new owners and they are definitely WAY BETTER than the previous owners. I only came back because my mother in law is a regular. So I was going to go to one of her girls. Ling was fantastic! I'm picky & difficult af... I let Ling do her thing, and honestly just the way she looked at her work after was great- she looked so proud of her own work. I normally don't get manicures, because of how "complicated" I am- but I decided to schedule my appointment for August 31st to give it a go. Ling said she's up for the challenge of giving me a perfect/even nail file, as I normally file my own nails. read more

Definitely recommend this nail spa!! Under new ownership I believe, but went today for the first time and it was incredible. Greeting was very nice and welcoming. Great variety of colors and brands for polish colors/types. Ling was the woman who did my nails!! She was so nice and my nails turned out perfect. Massage was so good. Not too expensive, will definitely be back! read more

I love this place. After trying many nail salons in Harrison and neighboring towns, I found my place. They are kind, accommodating and provide good quality service. Obviously some ladies are more experienced than others, but in general they are all good. The place is clean and the owners make sure that the staff have a separate room when using harsh chemicals and to provide proper ventilation. It seems that they care for their staff well being, not like other similar businesses. Not great for very elaborated designs, but good for simple things. read more

Cocoa Nail & Spa - They accommodated this design and did a fairly good job. - Nail Salons Near Me - Harrison, New York

Received a spa pedicure today from Maria. It is a shame that the wonderful pedicure she provided has now been overshadowed by her and another employee that works behind the front desk. I gave Maria all the cash i had on me for tip which was $12.00. Now I usually do tip 20% but i did not walk into this establishment with the intent of spending $75.00 for a pedicure (my choice) so I was not prepared to spend more. I do recognize that it is not the assumed 20% but it is more than the 10%. The way both of these two women made me feel in that moment was appalling . I will NEVER step foot in there again. There are many other appreciative, friendly and professional nail salons within a 5 mile radius and that's where I will be heading . read more

Went for pedicure and gel manicure. The service was good, but I had a sticker shock!! Their website says $20 and $23 each. I was charged $62!!! That is $19 more! Unacceptable! They should atleast let customers know their updated prices. They don't show it anywhere. read more

I went a couple of times and I feel I was being over charged. I get the same thing every 2 weeks, UV gel fill w/Gel polish. One week it was $75 2 weeks later it was $87 (same exact thing) I've been doing UV for more than 6 yrs and always paid $55 no mater where I have went. I wasn't happy so I have taken my business elsewhere. read more

I enjoyed my dip powder manicure at this salon so much! Jenny did my nails and did a great job. I also received a ten minute shoulder massage included with my manicure. The dip powder was $45, plus tip. I'll definitely be back to see Jenny! They also have parking in the rear of the salon. Thank you Cocoa Nail & Spa! read more

Been going to Cocoa for the past few months and have had nothing but great experiences. I even brought my sister and a friend and we all had beautiful mani's and pedi's. I typically get a gel mani and regular pedi, sometimes a tip here and there if I break a nail. GREAT @ nail art! I disagree with a lot of the reviews - pricing is fair for the are and they do a really wonderful job. Some nail salons charge way more for a lack luster service. The nail techs are very well trained and professional. I do wish the owner/manager would treat her employees a little better - she reprimanded them in front of customers which was a little awkward and not cool. Other than that I'm so happy to have found a reliable salon close to home. read more

My 4 yr old daughter and I came in for her first mani/pedi. They were so sweet with her! She walked out feeling so special and grown up! I cannot recommend this place enough! THANK YOU!! read more

Very disappointed arrived at salon before 3:00pm explained that I had appointment for pedicure at 5:00pm but wanted eyebrows and gel manicure also done they did my pedicure and eyebrows and finished at 4:45 and was told no one was available to do my nails and that I would need to wait at least 20-30 minutes or come back tomorrow! Very upset will never be back! read more

Really happy with the quality of my French manicure. The salon is clean and my manicurist was attentive to the details. They also give great massages! I would definitely recommend! read more

My first visit to this salon was pleasant! Reading the reviews before coming made me a little cautious. But I was surprisingly pleased, I came from another nail salon in Harrison that completely messed up my nails! Typically I ask for SNS/ANC (dip powder gel) and a set of tips. The other salon made them super thick it looked like I was growing several extra layers of fingernail. My nails were done by Roxy, she was super sweet and understanding of my nervousness as I explained to her how I hate having ugly nails so I hope they work out since I am looking for a place to go more consistently. She ensured to me that she will do her best and that is what she did. Making sure it was thin but not too thin and even shaping it the way I like without making them look crooked. The one thing I wasn't a fan of was feeling a little rushed out towards the end because they were short staffed. Other than that I am excited to see her in the next week! read more

I called for a pedicure and to get my UV EXTENSIONS taken OFF. She told me I needed to soak but since it isn't acrylic I told her it wouldn't come off with a soak and she needed to use the machine. After soaking me for 50 minutes it still wasn't coming off. So she just cut my nails super short and filed and soaked etc. after over an hour of things not coming off she told me she was done and to move chairs because there was nothing more she could do. She left my nails like this, never once said sorry and told me to get out of her salon. It was the owner/ manager and I am utterly disgusted and frustrated. read more

This salon is fantastic! I came as a walk in for a mani-pedi and was overwhelmed by how many color choices they had. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. My manicurist did a wonderful job, one of the best manicures/pedicures I've had! I messed up one of my toe nails while I was there (100% my fault) and she was very attentive to noticing and re-doing the polish without any judgement. I will definitely be returning! read more

I am not one to normally get my nails done but decided to splurge a little yesterday and it was definitely worth it. I really appreciated the elevated level of customer service and friendly attitudes of the staff there. Despite the prices being pretty affordable, they really take care of you. I came in for a manicure, and was taken care of by Jenny, who was lovely. She worked quickly, but very clean and precise. I appreciated her accommodating my last minute request to do an accent nail, and they came out exactly how I was hoping they would. I'll definitely come back more frequently! read more

These guys are new and go the extra mile! New owners with update to decor and staff. Prices are competitive being every other shop in town is a nail salon. Comfy new massage chairs and clean waxing/ massage rooms make this a visually pleasant experience. Staff really goes beyond duty to please customers....especially massage man who works for tips. Parking out front and behind shop (access from Fremont st) is free. read more

My new favorite nail salon! Nicer than you average nail salon but at the same prices. All the funiture and fixtures are new and higher end. The place is spotless and does not smell like a nail salon (must be the state of the art ventilation system). Friendly staff plus an awesome free massage while my nails were drying. Highly recommended! read more

This place is absolutely wonderful! They were able to take me right away and did not rush through any of the services they provided. It is very clean and everyone that works there really friendly and wonderful to deal with! Highly recommend! read more

Giving this place one star because I got, by far, the sloppiest acrylic fill-in I have EVER gotten in my life. They are friendly, they are clean, but the skills are seriously lacking. I came to this salon because I had broken one of my tips and needed it fixed, so I figured I'd just get a fill-in while I was at it since I was going to an entirely new place. Bad idea. I'd rather rock a broken nail than what I have going on now. To make a long story short, I ended up paying $50 for a set of nails that were so terribly done I had file them myself to get them looking half decent, and now on top of it all, the gel polish has peeled on my thumb and it already seems like the acrylic is going to break. Absolutely ridiculous, especially for the price paid. Will NEVER go back. read more

Came in for a mani pedi. They did a fine job and the place seems clean however, I didn't like the way the staff was treated during my experience. I presume it was the owner/manager who talked down to the staff. I felt so uncomfortable as a customer sitting there listening to it. When I paid my bill with credit, I was scrutinize for not having cash to tip (note, I always try my best to bring cash for tips in general, but didn't have any on me that day). Then on top of this, the owner/manager had the audacity to ask if that was all I was tipping for her (who did my manicure) and the first women (who did my pedicure). I was leaving a 16% tip (normally leave 18-20% but with my poor experience this is what I decided). And I honestly don't believe the staff member who did my pedicure even saw any of that tip as I'm sure the owner/manager pocketed it fully for herself. The reason I say so it because I saw it myself when I was getting the manicure - another guest left money for both and I watched the owner/manager pocket all but ONE DOLLAR that she gave to the staffer who also worked on this women. I'm honestly thinking of going back to just hand cash to the second lady who has been getting cut. Otherwise, I don't plan on stepping in here again. read more

Went about 330 Saturday for a gel remover and a pedicure and manicure. Opted for the gel polish 5 "dollar more" that's supposedly lasts longer. Noticed Sunday am three fingers all ruined I think the polish was old and thick! Shame on them I paid 53 dollars altogether bc I had also paid "5 dollar more "for the gel remover prior to my manicure. So it was 33 dollars for a pedi and mani plus the tip $9 and$5 more for the special polish. I hadn't done any cleaning or dishes or do anything in the line of housework. Wth !! Went back in am had to attend an event in the pm so had to correct it as well as let them know in a nice way that I was not pleased with their service. Owner did redo my manicure. Been going for a while. Will not be returning. read more

I had been having trouble finding a nail salon that could drop dip powder properly (not thick like acrylics and lasts longer than a week) AND had excellent customer service no matter what you looked like. I decided to try cocoa nail salon based upon the reviews. I was sadly disappointed. The salon looks nice. I had an appointment and was taken as soon as I arrived. I told the owner that I just wanted the dip powder thin. The technician was extremely nice, thorough and gentle on my nails. But my nails cracked THAT SAME NIGHT! I paid $45 plus a nice tip!!!!!! I had to return the next day for them to be redone. They were nice but then told me It was because I had asked for them to be thin, the technician skipped the clear coat which caused it to crack. Basically that it was my fault. WHAT! They do not use SNS, ANC or OPI. I believe it is revel. Needless to say it was a waste and I had to return for a redo and asked for gel, which only lasted for 5 days before cracking. I will not be returning. The price is too expensive for the sub par results. My search continues. Any suggestions for thur white plains area is welcome! read more

Great place. Clean, friendly and they do a good job. Best part is the person who gives you a shoulder and back massage at no cost while your nails dry! Just tip him, of course! read more

I liked the girl who did my nails, Jenny. The person who did my feet was terrible, she only spent 10 minutes on my feet. The nail polish chips very easily! They said my tip wasn't good enough, the lady wanted more money The massage I received while I got my manicure was amazing!! read more

Great place! Love how clean and friendly everyone was. I got a dip powder manicure and they came out beautiful.

I LOVE this salon. Not only have My manicures been amazing, everyone is super nice and friendly especially the owner, Jenny. Rosa gives me unbelievable manicures and the gentlemen there gives really good back massages. I don't live nearby but for a good nail salon i would definitely go out of my way. Also their choices in colors and brands especially for gel manicures is amazing, they have sooo many colors, and thats also something thats super important to me. read more
