My experience was wonderful. Would definitely recommend! Zero language barrier with Ling & the male owners, which is super important for the experience. They have new owners and they are definitely WAY BETTER than the previous owners. I only came back because my mother in law is a regular. So I was going to go to one of her girls. Ling was fantastic! I'm picky & difficult af... I let Ling do her thing, and honestly just the way she looked at her work after was great- she looked so proud of her own work. I normally don't get manicures, because of how "complicated" I am- but I decided to schedule my appointment for August 31st to give it a go. I love this place. After trying many nail salons in Harrison and neighboring towns, I found my place. They are kind, accommodating and provide good quality service. Obviously some ladies are more experienced than others, but in general they are all good. The place is clean and the owners make sure that the staff have a separate room when using harsh chemicals and to provide proper ventilation. It seems that they care for their staff well being, not like other similar businesses. Not great for very elaborated designs, but good for simple things. read more

Received a spa pedicure today from Maria. It is a shame that the wonderful pedicure she provided has now been overshadowed by her and another employee that works behind the front desk. I gave Maria all the cash i had on me for tip which was $12.00. Now I usually do tip 20% but i did not walk into this establishment with the intent of spending $75.00 for a pedicure (my choice) so I was not prepared to spend more. I do recognize that it is not the assumed 20% but it is more than the 10%. The way both of these two women made me feel in that moment was appalling . I will NEVER step foot in there again. I went a couple of times and I feel I was being over charged. I get the same thing every 2 weeks, UV gel fill w/Gel polish. One week it was $75 2 weeks later it was $87 (same exact thing) I've been doing UV for more than 6 yrs and always paid $55 no mater where I have went. Been going to Cocoa for the past few months and have had nothing but great experiences. I even brought my sister and a friend and we all had beautiful mani's and pedi's. I typically get a gel mani and regular pedi, sometimes a tip here and there if I break a nail. GREAT @ nail art! I disagree with a lot of the reviews - pricing is fair for the are and they do a really wonderful job. Some nail salons charge way more for a lack luster service. The nail techs are very well trained and professional. I do wish the owner/manager would treat her employees a little better - she reprimanded them in front of customers which was a little awkward and not cool. My first visit to this salon was pleasant! Reading the reviews before coming made me a little cautious. But I was surprisingly pleased, I came from another nail salon in Harrison that completely messed up my nails! Typically I ask for SNS/ANC (dip powder gel) and a set of tips. The other salon made them super thick it looked like I was growing several extra layers of fingernail. My nails were done by Roxy, she was super sweet and understanding of my nervousness as I explained to her how I hate having ugly nails so I hope they work out since I am looking for a place to go more consistently. She ensured to me that she will do her best and that is what she did. Making sure it was thin but not too thin and even shaping it the way I like without making them look crooked. I called for a pedicure and to get my UV EXTENSIONS taken OFF. She told me I needed to soak but since it isn't acrylic I told her it wouldn't come off with a soak and she needed to use the machine. After soaking me for 50 minutes it still wasn't coming off. So she just cut my nails super short and filed and soaked etc. after over an hour of things not coming off she told me she was done and to move chairs because there was nothing more she could do. Giving this place one star because I got, by far, the sloppiest acrylic fill-in I have EVER gotten in my life. They are friendly, they are clean, but the skills are seriously lacking. I came to this salon because I had broken one of my tips and needed it fixed, so I figured I'd just get a fill-in while I was at it since I was going to an entirely new place. Bad idea. I'd rather rock a broken nail than what I have going on now. To make a long story short, I ended up paying $50 for a set of nails that were so terribly done I had file them myself to get them looking half decent, and now on top of it all, the gel polish has peeled on my thumb and it already seems like the acrylic is going to break. Came in for a mani pedi. They did a fine job and the place seems clean however, I didn't like the way the staff was treated during my experience. I presume it was the owner/manager who talked down to the staff. I felt so uncomfortable as a customer sitting there listening to it. When I paid my bill with credit, I was scrutinize for not having cash to tip (note, I always try my best to bring cash for tips in general, but didn't have any on me that day). Then on top of this, the owner/manager had the audacity to ask if that was all I was tipping for her (who did my manicure) and the first women (who did my pedicure). I was leaving a 16% tip (normally leave 18-20% but with my poor experience this is what I decided). And I honestly don't believe the staff member who did my pedicure even saw any of that tip as I'm sure the owner/manager pocketed it fully for herself. The reason I say so it because I saw it myself when I was getting the manicure - another guest left money for both and I watched the owner/manager pocket all but ONE DOLLAR that she gave to the staffer who also worked on this women. I'm honestly thinking of going back to just hand cash to the second lady who has been getting cut. Otherwise, I don't plan on stepping in here again. read more

Went about 330 Saturday for a gel remover and a pedicure and manicure. Opted for the gel polish 5 "dollar more" that's supposedly lasts longer. Noticed Sunday am three fingers all ruined I think the polish was old and thick! Shame on them I paid 53 dollars altogether bc I had also paid "5 dollar more "for the gel remover prior to my manicure. So it was 33 dollars for a pedi and mani plus the tip $9 and$5 more for the special polish. I hadn't done any cleaning or dishes or do anything in the line of housework. Wth !! Went back in am had to attend an event in the pm so had to correct it as well as let them know in a nice way that I was not pleased with their service. Owner did redo my manicure. I had been having trouble finding a nail salon that could drop dip powder properly (not thick like acrylics and lasts longer than a week) AND had excellent customer service no matter what you looked like. I decided to try cocoa nail salon based upon the reviews. I was sadly disappointed. The salon looks nice. I had an appointment and was taken as soon as I arrived. I told the owner that I just wanted the dip powder thin. The technician was extremely nice, thorough and gentle on my nails. But my nails cracked THAT SAME NIGHT! I paid $45 plus a nice tip!!!!!! I had to return the next day for them to be redone. They were nice but then told me It was because I had asked for them to be thin, the technician skipped the clear coat which caused it to crack. Basically that it was my fault. WHAT! They do not use SNS, ANC or OPI. I believe it is revel. Needless to say it was a waste and I had to return for a redo and asked for gel, which only lasted for 5 days before cracking. I will not be returning. The price is too expensive for the sub par results. My search continues. Any suggestions for thur white plains area is welcome! read more
