On the way out of Cocoa the shuttle was a half an hour late, on the way home they abandoned us at the airport after an hour of waiting! We called them twice, once they hung up on us and the second time they put us on hold until my cell phone went dead, over ten minutes. They never tried to contact us after that. We had to pay a Taxi over $100 to take us home. This is why they charge you for the return when they pick you up, if you are going round trip. Now I have to file a dispute with my credit card. Although it was short, I had a good experience with Cocoa Beach Shuttle. I scheduled a pick up with them from my hotel in Cocoa Beach to Port Carnaveral. They charged the reasonable price of $5 a person for the trip. The driver arrived promptly at 11 to pick us up and got safely to the Port. It was a pleasant experience and I wished I had booked them for my airport transportation because I had a God awful experience with shuttle company I used for that transport. read more

When I finally found out I needed to talk to Brandy and check in the last shuttle was getting ready to pull in. Actually , if I could give negative stars, I would. Such a terrible experience! Numerous confirmations for pick up at 9:30 after prepaying. However, when I called at 9:50, I was told there was a bad accident, but the driver was on the way. The driver called at 10:39 and said he would be there in 15-20 minutes. We called the office 10 minutes later and were put on hold immediately after identifying ourselves. We have been assured we will receive a refund, but I am not holding my breath. The following is a response to an email that the manager sent me after he took my responsibility for his company causing me to miss my flight because of terrible management of loading people (had to wait for another shuttle even though there was two empty shuttles at my check-in point), obvious overbooking and then telling me false information and that is just the beginning. You take no responsibility for one of your reps making false promises, no responsibility for obvious for obvious overbooking of your service, and no responsibility for your check-in person not managing the loading of your passengers effectively, you also assume that I have some kind of influence on when the ship docks, which I do not as my ship didn't dock until 8am which I told Ashley. On top of this you tell me something about my reservation form that supposedly mentions time constraints of allowing 30 minutes to load when all that it says is that wait times AREN'T GUARANTEED AFTER 10:30 AM which didn't apply to me since I got there at 9:20am and there is no mention of allowing 1 hour to reach the airport. However, I do concede that it does take time to get to MCO, but I am not conceding that it's mentioned on my reservation for because it's not. I attached this reservation form so you can see for yourself. Because of this fact it makes me believe that you will say anything to make your point which makes you and your company untrustworthy. There is a saying that everything rises or falls on leadership, but leaders who who do not take responsibility for mistakes that their company has made certainly aren't leaders at all. What a shame." DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We had a reservation for hotel-to-port transfers at 10am. The night before, I received an email confirming the 10am pickup time. To double-check, I called that morning and and was told that my pickup time had been moved to 12:30. No one had informed me of this fact. We grabbed a taxi instead for about 30% less cost. Worse, we had also reserved Port-to-airport transfers for 9am. Upon arrival into port, I checked my messages and was told that they were moving my pickup time to 12:30pm. My flight left at 11:30am. CB Shuttle had my flight information when they made this change. I called to cancel my shuttle and was told they were dispatching someone right away. Given my experiences to date, I did not trust the shuttle company and so grabbed a taxi (again, at less cost), and called to cancel the shuttle. One week later, I have a shuttle charge on my credit card bill from this company because I did not cancel within their 24 hour cancellation period. This is out-and-out FRAUD. Do not use this company. There are other friendly, reputable merchants in the area doing this work. read more

I called and scheduled a pick up a day before our cruise. We were scheduled to be picked up at 11:00 am at our hotel. Our driver called to let us know he would be early if we were ready. We were ready and left at 10:30. We made one stop near Port Canaveral and headed to the cruise ship. No problems whatsoever. The driver was courteous and extremely friendly. Terrible terrible experience with this shuttle service!! To pick us up from the hotel to take us to our cruise they were 15 minutes late- no big deal we booked it with plenty of time. The driver arrived without the car seat we booked and while driving the van with 12 of us and a cargo trailer he was reaching 90mph and flashing cars in front of him! We had to tell him to slow down!! Upon arrival back from our cruise made me realize why he was driving so fast... he needed to pick up those that arrived and take them back to the airport! All other shuttle companies did not over book and had an organized line of people who were all gone before we could speak with the really rude shuttle organizer! On 11-7-13 our shuttle started shooting a hot liquid out on passengers seated inside while the shuttle was driving down the toll road from Port Canaveral to Orlando airport. Two passengers had burns on their legs. The driver pulled over and called his shop. After a few minutes he was telling everyone to get back onboard and he was supposed to continue to the airport approx 7 miles away. He was upset that myself as well as a couple other people were pulling luggage out of the trailer on the back. I told him I had some first aid items in my suitcase to try and help the people who were injured. He said (oh someone got burned?). I told him yes two people, one of them was still sitting on the ground 10 foot away from the door of the shuttle with people pouring water on her burns. I personally called the business and advised that two passengers were injured and everyone else was refusing to get back on the shuttle since nobody knew where the liquid was coming from. They said they didn't know anyone had gotten hurt. Finally another shuttle came to pick us all up from the side of the toll road. We were enroute to the airport when people started realizing they had left property on the other shuttle. The driver said to call the business and they would take our names, address's and credit card numbers and mail the property to us. I called them to see if they could just have someone bring the items we had left behind too us at our hotel. They said they would have the owner call us when he got back to the shop in about 2 hours. Well it is now 11-12-13 and I've still not heard from them and we are now home in another state. They did however tell me during the 2nd call that they mechanic had already checked the shuttle and couldn't find anything wrong. This was only about 30-45 minutes later and they already had the vehicle inspected? I don't believe that for a minute. Please use caution if you use this business. read more

We were initially told by a wonderful man that she would be our driver, and if we didn't mind to put the bags in the back while we wait for her. Do not use Cocoa Beach Shuttle service. Use Uber in order to save yourself time and frustration. Our group booked a round-trip shuttle, paid in advance, from Sanford International to a hotel in Cape Canaveral and back. The shuttle driver was on time and did a fine job getting us to our hotel. For the shuttle back to the airport, I called Cocoa Beach Shuttle the night before pickup to confirm the pickup time and location. The day of the shuttle to the airport we were to be picked up at 10:35. We had no driver yet at 10:40 so I phoned dispatch. Dispatch indicated the driver would be there in 8 minutes. 10 minutes later, no driver. I phoned again and they told me the driver would be there in 9 minutes. Still no driver after 10 more minutes. I phoned dispatch again and was placed immediately on a 10 minute hold. I was promised the driver would be there in 2 minutes. I phoned again when no driver after 5 minutes and was immediately placed on another 10 minute hold. I phoned again and asked if I needed to get a different shuttle so we wouldn't miss our flight. I was once again assured the driver would be there in 8 minutes. No driver. By this time I was extremely agitated. I told them I had been lied to 4 times already and didn't trust we would have a driver in time. I asked if they were going to pay for a missed flight home for 5 of us and refund the prepaid shuttle when we booked a different shuttle. We finally got picked up 1 hour and 3 minutes after our scheduled pickup time. The driver indicated he had another pickup before he could take us to the airport. Our group demanded he not make that stop and take us directly to the airport or we would miss our flight. Our driver called dispatch and was told he had to make the pickup. We were extremely frustrated yet knew none of this was the fault of the driver. Dispatch then called the driver back and said to go straight to the airport. The driver took us straight to the airport and we made our flight with rattled nerves and little time to spare. Drivers are good. Dispatch was disorganized and lied to us over and over again. I would rather they be honest about a mistake and tell us it was going to be an hour late than keep misleading us. Poor customer service to say the least. Avoid the headache. read more

Dan and Sadie of CBS are two of the most unpleasant and rude people you might ever want to deal with...Trust me that all they do is correct and all you do is wrong or you have mistaken something.Because certainly any of my problem or strife wasn't due to their actions because that is not how CBS does business! After having a problem with them being late for our first ride (waiting one and one half hour), upcharging us $2 dollars for our trip to the cruise terminal for booking direct with them instead of through our hotel, them having completely lost our return reservation to be picked up from Cruise terminal to being picked up one half hour late for our return to MCO...things went from bad to worse. I was asked to call back to their company 3+ times the day of our cruise return, because, they were to busy to take care of me and my need to get to MCO the next day. Nothing like cruising around Kennedy Space Center with a phone to your ear trying to arrange a ride. Swell vacation experience. After being home 4 days I get a call that they have been emailing me and need payment as my credit card was declined! Well, I recieved no emails because they had been sending to incorrect email address. I then requested that Dan re-run my card. He laughed and said, I am sure it will decline. BING, just like magic my card went through...must have been another one of those business mistakes that CBS doesn't make! Dan is pompous and rude. Next time I will ensure that we call the right people...that might be anyone other than you! And I will go out of my way to ensure that any friends and colleagues do not use you as well. I needed last minute transport from MCO to Cocoa Beach ahead of a wedding cruise outta Port Canaveral. I called CBS the night before my flight arrived and the agent, Sadie, had me booked within minutes. At $33 pp one way, this was the best deal out of all of the shuttle services. I received a confirmation email about ten minutes after we booked. Upon my arrival to MCO the next day, I called as instructed and let the agent know I had arrived and that I had my luggage with me. She advised me of the meeting place, and that the driver would arrive within 10 minutes. I called at 12:22; the driver pulled up at 12:33. We were on our way to Cocoa Beach shortly thereafter, and had a smooth and pleasant ride. 4 stars only because the van smelled like animals had been in it. The scent dissipated after a short while. No complaints other than that; tipped the driver for the pleasant ride and speedy service. I did not use them for my return trip; I am satisfied with the service I received. read more

Cocoa Beach Shuttle left us stranded at Orlando airport. We made an advance reservation and they still didn't accommodate us when the shuttle arrived. We have 2 small children and can't afford to do business with unreliable companies such as Cocoa Beach Shuttle, We had flown cross country, waited an hour for the shuttle to arrive and when they got there, the driver said we were taken off his list...that we had to wait for another driver. There was room on the shuttle and I later found out that the other family in there was also going to our same hotel. We spoke with someone named Tom over the phone and he was condescending when we told him our situation. Very unprofessional. We ended up taking a taxi shuttle that was there and ready to go, they had a car seat for my 2 year old (something Cocoa Beach shuttle doesn't guarantee by the way). You'll pay more with a taxi but it's worth it to leave the airport promptly and safely with your family. I also spoke with Starwood Properties that they should reconsider referring them and they said they've received many complaints about people being stranded by Cocoa Beach Shuttle. All I have to say is read the reviews before booking. This company needs a major overhaul in administration and front end staffing. Our shuttle was over 40 minutes late picking us up at our hotel to take us to Cape Canaveral to our ship. Keep in mind i had a confirmation text with all the correct information the day before. The driver got sent to the wrong hotel. When I called for the fifth time to see what was being done,the attitudes of the front end staff were not appreciated. Rude! I prepaid for a service and had a timed schedule to keep. The fact that they lied each time I called was just plain wrong . The driver drove like he broke free from prison and was running from the cops. So Dangerous. Once off of our ship, our confirmed,paid for reservation, was never found on the drivers manifesto. Very disappointed with our misadventure using cocoa beach shuttle. I booked online, ok simple enough, they called to confirm- still seems good to go, however when we landed in Orlando, we were directed to the shuttle pick up and told it would be about 30 minutes. We go, we wait, 30 minutes goes by and a shuttle shows up, well apparently the driver didn't want to take us on his shuttle and told us we had to wait for the next shuttle that should be arriving 'soon'. So he leaves us there to wait for the next ride. Next shuttle arrives about 15 minutes later and the driver tells us we aren't on his list and asks why we didn't go with the previous driver.... Apparently there is no communication between the drivers or the people at the dispatch center. He decided to let us get on his shuttle, then goes to pick up a passenger at a nearby hotel. Ok well we should be getting somewhere soon anyway, nope, he picks up the new passenger (also not on his list apparently). This new guy needs a ride to a completely different town away from cocoa beach. Then the driver goes back to airport!!!!!!! He wants to pick up more passengers since 3 wasn't enough for him. So we get to wait at the airport for another 30 minutes to pick up another group of people. All in all we waited over 90 minutes to even begin our drive to cocoa beach. Had we gotten on the first shuttle we would have already been at our hotel. It still gets better, now we have to drop off the lone passenger going out the other direction. By the time we finally arrived at our hotel it was almost 3 hours after we were picked up. Very disappointing and frustrating experience. read more

I would really like to give 2 and a half stars....since our trip from our house TO the port was great. Our trip back was very much not. The driver taking the eight of us to the cruise ship was friendly, early, called to let us know they were coming and helped us with our luggage. There was one other couple in the van with us that he had picked up first and I heard him pointing out the sites and answering questions for them as we drove to the ship. I, at the time, was very pleased with the service. Getting off the cruise ship I understand you are with a pack of people and that things are going to be hectic. I don't mark them off for having to wait for the second van to appear since the first one was full. You do however get marks off for the following - 1. Telling me that you really could use the driver to get other passengers if we want to wait longer (we didn't, and then we felt bad for saying so). 2. Cramming the eight of us, plus a family of four, plus another couple in. Then getting angry that you couldn't put even more in. The eight of us had five full grown men....close to six foot tall. There was no way we could have crammed in any more and the family of four had to put their kids on their laps. There were only seatbelts for 12 plus a driver so its a good thing we didn't want to use them. 3. Ignoring repeated requests for a/c. 4. Running a stop sign. 5. Taking the worst route possible. Maybe tourists don't know where to go but as a local we were all exchanging looks. 6. Just seeming like we were quite the inconvenience. So yes, we will use a shuttle service again the next time we cruise. We just won't be using THIS shuttle service. read more

This company is not reliable. They do not show up to pick you up, they are over-priced, and have absolutely no sense of business or customer service. They tell you to keep waiting and when you call to tell them you are not interested in their service, which they did not provide in the first place, they tell you too bad, so sad, you will be charged anyway. Owner is RUDE and unapologetic for lack of service. Waited 40 minutes for them, called three times to cancel each time being told the shuttle would be there in ONE MINUTE -- finally we left but ended up with a charge. We scheduled Cocoa Beach Shuttle for transportation from MCO to our hotel In Cocoa. They of course make sure that you pay the full amount up front. The shuttle was to arrive at 10am at the airport to pick us up to take us to the hotel-we waited, and waited and waited. We called multiple times and every time we called were told that they would "be there in about 5 or 10 minutes." Looking at other's reviews, it looks like this is a standard statement they use when lying to their customers. As we waited for the 10 am shuttle, a group of people waiting for the 10:30 and 11:00 shuttle arrived and waited as well. By the time the shuttle arrived at 11:30, there was a huge group of people waiting. The shuttle driver finally pulled up and preceded to tell all of us that his shuttle was broken down and we would need to contact the company. After standing there for an hour and a half and no resolution in sight we finally had to pay for a Lyft to take us to our hotel. This happened a week and a half ago and I have called at least 4 times asking for a refund. I am always told that their "operations manager" is the only one who can issue a refund, although on 2 occasions I was asked for the last 4 numbers of my credit card. At this time I am still out the money that I paid for the non-existent shuttle and on top of that paying for the Lyft that I had no anticipated to have to take. Do not use their service. We arranged 11 days in advance to be taken to the Orlando airport from our home at 7 am for our flight at 11 am. With the travel time, this would give us plenty of time to get to our flight. After repeated calls, when they had not shown up, their office finally answered the phone and said they would be to our house shortly. They did not arrive until 8:30. We were still charged the full amount for the round trip service. I spoke to the manager on the phone and was told that they would provide us with a discount due to it being his error. He had failed to print off our scheduled pickup. When our trip was over with and we got back home, our credit card reflected the full amount charged. I called their office to find out where the credit was and left message after message. I disputed the charge but Cocoa Beach Shuttle stated that they fulfilled their service despite the promise of a credit. Since I had no paperwork to backup my conversation with the manager, the dispute did not go my way. Whatever you do, use someone else's more reliable service. read more

This was suggested to me by a Port Canaveral resident when I was a little stressed about the price of ride-shares and other port shuttle services. Overall I would recommend this service because the staff I interacted with were friendly and professional and service was a reasonable rate. Shuttle arrived on time both to and from the airport (MCO). I am a bit directionally challenged so I had to call a few times to find the pick-up location at MCO but each time they answered the phone and were patient with me. Had no trouble finding the shuttle after departing the cruise ship. Besides that the price can't be beat. Make sure you understand the pick-up instructions for your trips included in your confirmation email. If anything just call, it may not be crystal clear but that's not an issue for me considering a Lyft from MCO to the Port was $60 ONE WAY on avg. and the CB shuttle was $60 round trip. WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. They're lucky they're getting one star. This place is a JOKE. I called a week before I was going to Disney with my boyfriend for the day on 3/20. Pick up from Cocoa at 8:50am and then the pick up from Disney at 8:30pm. I asked the rate, $88, when I asked round trip I was told yes. Meaning 88 TOTAL, not for each way. The shuttle came around 9 that morning, we were stuck waiting in the shuttle for an hour and a half while the driver dropped people off. Fine. The driver finally gets us to Disney at 10:30, BUT had no idea where to drop us off. So a half hour later he finally finds the drop off point. Very nice driver but had no idea where he was going. When we got out of the shuttle I was told the rate was $212. Very different from the $88 round trip I was told the week before, AND they added on tip for me. How convenient. My boyfriend pays on his card, different from the one they had on file. We pay the price because at this point we just want to get to the park. All day is fine, around 8 I leave the park with my boyfriend, it's raining. We get to the pick up point at 8:25 we get a call from the dispatcher. They're delayed an HOUR and there's absolutely nothing they can do. So we have to just sit and wait in the rain for our shuttle. When I asked the dispatcher for a reason we were notified so late she had to reason for me. Very professional. 9:30 comes and goes, no shuttle. I call the dispatcher at the office and no answer. They're apparently closed even though the answering machine says the office closes at 10. Suspicious. I call and call and call leaving message after message for an explanation. Nothing. Now I've been waiting for over an hour in the rain for a shuttle that isn't responding to my calls. We don't have the number for the driver and the office isn't answering. At 9:50 we finally get a call from our shuttle driver, he's finally on his way. By this time I thought I was forgotten and went to get a hotel room. As it turns out our driver was doing pick ups in South Cocoa and wasn't told to get us until 9:15 it's well over an hour from Cocoa to Orlando so there's NO WAY they would have got us at 9:30. He's in Orlando and tells us he hasn't been to Disney in 5 years and honestly doesn't know where he's going. At least he was honest. But, we had already gotten a room. The next day a new driver picks us up and now we want a refund for the unprofessional and unacceptable service we received. The same dispatcher from the night before answers, tells me her manager Dan is at lunch and will call me when he's in. This is at 2:30. 4:30 comes with no call. Long lunch, I call and she immediately tells me we're only being refunded one way. I say absolutely not. I eventually speak to Dan who appears completely oblivious to what had happened. Obviously his dispatcher didn't fill him in. I tell him everything and I eventually am told our refund will be full. Over a week later, still no refund. I happen to be checking my statement and see that the refund was put back on THE WRONG CARD. How this was messed up I have no idea. Dan didn't even put it back on the card that was charged. How this mistake was made I have no idea. But when I called to ask he basically says, "you have your money, I don't care." How this business is still running is beyond me. It is a disaster and NO ONE should EVER use this shuttle. read more

I was worried about booking Cocoa Beach Shuttle after reading the reviews. Everything went fine. Easy reservation, a confirmation call from them the night before. When I arrived dispatch answered immediately, and the van was there 30 minutes after I got to the curb. There was only one other passenger who was also going to Cocoa Beach. Our departure was slightly delayed because the driver had to take all the credit card details by hand. Dave, our driver, was a laid back guy who unfortunately had no Smart phone access for navigation so we had to do a little navigation for him although he knew the general vicinity of our destinations. He gave us all kinds of local information on the drive over, plus we had a great discussion about movies, books, music, and scuba diving. The trip is long but the time went fast. read more

We used this service to get to the cruise at Port Canaveral from a Cocoa Beach Hotel. It was reasonably priced. We had 2 parties going at different times. The larger party was told the gratuity would be added to the price. It was a reasonable price, but in the van there is a sign that says the gratuity is not included. The woman on the phone was pleasant who made our reservation. Our van was late on the day we scheduled, so I called to be sure it was coming. The person assured us it was coming, and it did, only about 15 minutes late. The van driver was great, making small talk, telling us where he was going next, etc. About a block from the boat, the van overheated and stopped running. What could have been a horrible situation was actually not. The van driver called for another van, got all the luggage out of his van ready to go onto the replacement van, and got all his passengers onto a grassy area out of harms way. It only took about 10 -15 minutes for van to come and we were off for the ship. All in all it was fine. We got there in one piece. The employees I spoke with were professional and courteous. read more
