Had a blast at this candy shop! From the outside, it looks like something from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter (although finding parking can be a bit of a pain). The inside is a whimsical world of both familiar and unfamiliar candies and chocolates, with many options that you just cannot find elsewhere (peep the picture of the GIANT solid chocolate gold skull I bought). JoAnn is an absolutely wonderful host who assisted me with every single thing I was searching for. My only issue was not having enough money to buy everything hahaha. I enjoy supporting a small business. This is a cute, little candy shop on a charming block in Studio City. The candy store is on Tujunga. You might have been to a couple of popular businesses also on the block. Ahem--a cafe with a line, always. And an Italian restaurant that has a long history. Well, this little candy spot is nestled right in the middle of both of those places. You'll find a wide assortment of gummy candies as well as an array of chocolate bars and old-fashioned candies from your childhood or your grandma's days. The shop is well laid out with a nice playlist to stroll through and select some favorites or new items to try. Street parking available on Tujunga and on some of the nearby by residential streets with a 2-hour limit. Shop hours seem to be later in the day into the evening. read more

It was so exciting to discover all the items that either said 'vegan' on them or were accidentally vegan/dairy-free (by reading ingredient list): chocolate bars, drinking chocolate, gummies, taffy/chews, etc. The owner is the sole employee there and knowledgeable about all the products. Note that it may not open exactly on time (ie she opened like 12:30 pm instead of 12 pm) but that's just how it goes when it's a one-person show ‍. I will for sure be back! read more

My wife and I just wandered into this cute little 2-room neighborhood store and came face-to-face with the most amazing selection of international chocolates and candies! Floor to ceiling and from every country you can imagine. The owner, Joanne, is a modern day Willie Wonka, and she loves what she does. She was explaining to us how she's constantly trying new treats, seeing how they do, and then either keeps them or replaces them with other new "delicacies". I love maple syrup and purchased a dark chocolate (70% cacao) with maple sugar by a company called Zotter from Austria. It was decadent! Our purchase came in a cute little bag, so my wife and I've decided to buy people exotic gourment candy or chocolates instead of wine next time we go to a friend's house. Today we had friends from out of town and we were so excited to bring them to this store. We have a service dog and when we brought him in the store person she mentioned he was too big, which is ok. We asked if we can try since he is very well trained and a service dog. She then said in a rude tone, "if it falls you'll buy it" we felt unwelcome and stepped outside to wait for our friends. The first time I went to the store, it was delightful, and I spent a mini fortune, because the choices were just too hard to make and I had to try everything! I have tried to go back three times since. The first two times I went by, both on weekends, the lights were on, but the doors were locked. I checked their hours online and I was there during business hours, so perhaps the owner stepped out. I actually went back just today to try again thinking perhaps on a weekday she would definitely be there, and before I had even put the car in park, I noticed the place was dark and there was some kind of Post-it note on the door so I didn't even bother getting out of the car. I really want to go back and get the small business my money but if you're making it pretty hard for me. I think I'm done trying.
