Stopped in for another $22 deal. Tried the butter garlic shrimp and it was so delicious. This has become one of my favorite spots to grab a meal at now. I'm so glad we tried it just a few short months ago. They got our order knocked out and brought out to the table. The poppy seed sauce is so good just drizzled on the rice. I recommend trying it that way. They were packed for lunch. It was the first time I had to park a little ways away, but luckily they had staff managing tables so there were constantly clean tables to be seated at. Definitely worth trying if you love shrimp!

The rice is to die for. The butter shrimp are my favorite, the fried ones taste too much like grease. Salad is delicious too and portions are so generous. Nice ambiance ! We go at least 1 a month.

I wanted to confirm that I wasn't overlooking anything, as I've visited the drive-thru several times and my tacos have never looked like this. When I walked into CocoShrimp to place my order, I felt a bit scrutinized, and the atmosphere seemed off. I ordered two tacos without lettuce, expecting two shrimp per taco, but there was barely any rice and only half an avocado, despite having paid for a whole one. I believe this will be my last visit.

My husband and I have been going to Coco shrimp when they were just a food truck outside of an ACE Hardware store! We were thrilled when we heard that they were moving to a brick and mortar store in Watauga, which was right down the road from us. When they first opened, we were excited to see that this location would also have a drive through option as well. The option to order online and pick up has been great, especially during peak hours! The inside has lots of seating as well as a few patio tables outside too. Pro-tip... if you're ordering a plate, get the salad on the side. You'll thank me later ;) Both dressings that are options for the salad are great; my favorite is the creamy ginger one though! My favorite plate to order is the coco shrimp plate. The coconut shrimp as delicious! Perfect blend of sweet, balanced by the dipping sauce, over the butter garlic rice! Amazing. We also love their tacos for this same reason. If you are able to order both, do it! You won't regret it.

Ordered the $15.95 five-flavor shrimp sampler that's not on the menu. It comes with two coconut w/ sweet chili sauce, butter garlic, lemon herb, spicy, and sweet and spicy shrimp. All meals include rice, salad with poppyseed vinaigrette, ginger dressing, cucumbers, and craisins. On my next visit, I'll order butter garlic, coconut, and sweet and spicy. These three were my favorites. You can request additional sauces for $0.50. I purchased cilantro lime. It went great with the salad. I recommend switching out the ginger dressing for cilantro lime. Coco shrimp has a tropical beach vibe. I loved the warm atmosphere and friendly service.

Do you like rice, shrimp, and salad? That's Coco Shrimp and it is delicious. The menu is simple, making for easy decisions, and the portions are generous. Nice setting in the dining area, staff are friendly!! The coconut shrimp is great, I'm not a huge fan of the piling of coconut meat on the shrimp, but you can easily pickle some of it off and you find the shrimp is cooked well, with nice flavor. Always a go-to when bringing food home for somebody. read more

I don't eat seafood but my husband does, so, if you don't either, know there isn't an alternative. He ate the sampler with 2 lemon butter, 3 sweet & spicy, and 2 coconut shrimp. We each ordered the combination shrimp using a third party delivery service. The food was delivered promptly. The hot food was hot, and the cold ice cream deserts were perfectly thawed. The food was neatly packaged in an environmentally friendly container. It was delicious, and I finished everything except the rice. Side note: I would have preferred less (or no) butter on the rice. That's a personal preference that's easily fixed with a simple request when ordering. I mention this to inform patrons who share my preference. It's not a criticism of the food at all. In summary, this is our first experience with Coco Shrimp and we will be ordering again. read more

This place is the bees knees! Grant and his team work like a well oiled machine and make the best shrimps in the game. If you don't eat Shrimp then obviously this place isn't for you. But for us shrimp lovers, it is an absolute delight! The sweet and spicy shrimp are sooo good that I haven't even tried another flavor since I'm addicted to the S&S. If you're in the area and want some shrimps then look no further! Also, they're a ft. Worth company - support local businesses! I don't give out very many 5 stars but this place checks all the boxes.Friendly staff,atmosphere,value and great food.I actually saw this place on Facebook and said man that looks pretty tasty.So one weekend me and my wife drove about 20 minutes to get there.And it did not disappoint.You basically get a box with six shrimp in it along with rice and a salad.They have several different flavors of shrimp so I paid a dollar more to get three different flavors.You also have a choice of different dressings for salad.Both are good but I liked the sesame one better.There was really nothing to complain about.The shrimp was good size and they all had great flavor to them.The rice was really good and had a good buttery taste to it.And the salad with that sesame dressing topped it off.Believe me you won't leave this place hungry.I just wish it was a little closer to me. read more

They're a little bit pricey for some shrimp and rice, but OMG! It is all soooooo good and totally worth it. Not sure how they've come up with the perfect mix of garlic and butter to season the rice with, but they've done it. I usually get there sweet and spicy shrimp. I love it. FYI, if you don't tell them you want double rice, they will give you rice and salad. I couldn't tell you how it tastes because the first time I ate it somebody talked me into getting double rice and I've never looked back. I'm sure that the salad is good, but it certainly seems pointless to me (since the rice is soooo good). Simple menu... Delicious food... Hawaiian island surf-shop ambience... Give them a try. Established in 2016.

Coco Shrimp is the result of my love and passion for the Hawaiian islands. My wife and I moved from O'ahu and spent our entire life savings on a beat up old ambulance and hand built it into a food truck piece by piece in our backyard. It's been a long road but since we opened in April 2016, we have recieved a lot of positive feedback and support from our loving customers! It took a lot of faith to make the leap from desk job to business owner but I love waking up in the morning and bringing a taste of Hawaii to Fort Worth.

We decided to go with the sampler, and the food came out quickly. The shrimp itself didn't have a ton of flavor, but it was still enjoyable. I tried the coco shrimp, lemon herb shrimp, and butter garlic shrimp--of the three, the butter garlic was my favorite. The salad was fresh, and I really liked the poppyseed dressing. Surprisingly, my favorite part of the meal was actually the local blueberry soda--it was delicious! I appreciate the restaurant's concept, which allows for fast service, and the overall experience was positive. Delicious! My husband and I kept driving by the Watauga location when it was being built. We drove by it and saw that it was finally open! We decided to go inside and give it a try. Wow! Everything was absolutely delicious! The garlic and butter seasoned rice just melts in your mouth. The shrimp is delicious! We brought our out-of-town guests to Coco Shrimp. They loved it too! Yes, they have plate lunch meals, but the options do not stop at just meat entrees. They have tempura shrimp for the pescatarians and mixed vegetables for the vegetarians. Desiring an authentic meal, I went with the Kālua Pig and Pūlehu Chicken with White Rice and Macaroni Salad as sides. Although I was not asked about a sauce, I was given Teriyaki Sauce. Serving meals with the unrequested Teriyaki Sauce occurs enough to have signage to recycle the unopened containers for future diners. A knife was required primarily for the chicken. Except for a couple of pieces, the pork was easily eaten with only a fork. Compared to the limited seasoning of the pork, the chicken was a flavor explosion due to the garlic, salt & pepper. Since neither meats had their own sauces, the teriyaki sauce could have been poured onto the sticky rice for flavor. Not expecting diced carrots in the macaroni salad, its crunch was a surprise. Usually I can ignore the desserts placed by the register to entice diners, I had to get the Mango Guava Cheesecake. I barely had room to finish half of it. Instead of getting a Hawaiian Sun, I went with their in-house Passion Fruit, Orange, and Guava (aka P.O.G.) juice. As the dispenser was low, it is definitely a favorite with the regulars. I made the unfortunate decision of using the restroom. The toilet, primarily the bowl's edge and underneath the toilet seat, was covered in brown stains.
