This was my first time getting a manicure and pedicure, so I was pretty excited. My wife took me as a Valentine's Day treat, which made it feel even more special. I was surprised at how quickly everything was done. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. Unfortunately, the results did not feel much different than what I could do at home. My fingernails were basically just shiny, and my toenails were similar. There was not really any massage, just a quick wipe and rinse. The whole experience felt rushed. I was offered upgrades, but I assumed the basic service would still feel more thorough than it did. At checkout, I was handed Venmo cards for four different people for tipping. I asked if I could just send one payment, and they said I could send it to the owner and she would distribute it. That worked, but it felt a little awkward. Overall, it was not a bad experience, just not quite what I expected for my first manicure and pedicure. It felt more like a quick clip and buff than a relaxing treat. This has to be one of the best pedicure and manicures I have ever had. The salon itself was incredibly clean and the staff was so friendly! I am here visiting town from Phoenix and not only did they get me in right away they went out of their way to make me feel so welcome. I had a crazy stressful day prior to arriving and they helped me relax so much! And my nails looked phenomenal!! A friend warned me not to go here, but I didn't listen. First, the woman who did my pedicure didn't even introduce herself so I have no idea exactly "who" I am rating. I will say this though.... I chose the basic pedicure. It is ALL I wanted. The woman tried to upsell me three times. What part of "I just want the service I picked" did she not understand? I don't like repeating myself. She only cared about the upsell and basically rushed through the pedicure. I got a three stroke 'massage' on the top of my feet. When she collected my card to pay for my service, she asked me if I had cash for the tip!!! How presumptuous that she was receiving a tip. I will never return. read more

This place charged $25 for a gelx removal. Twenty. Five. Dollars. The staff was sweet but also I had my nails sitting in a bowl of acetone and was told I had to wait and I was like okay no problem! I ended up waiting for 22 minutes. I wish someone would've said it would be TWENTY MINUTES. That was most of my appointment, having my nails sit in acetone. I really don't think it's worth $25. It's also made me think a lot of what nail salons have come to. I of course want a good service to be well paid for but it's hard to justify anymore. Manicure/Pedicure services are starting to be the cost of a new car payment. Because of this experience, I will likely rely more on my at home gel nail kit. I am absolutely not criticizing their work! But this is definitely a higher end salon and if you think nails are expensive elsewhere, this will definitely surprise you. read more

I got a gel manicure, within 4 days the gel on my thumb had fallen off. I went back and got it redone (they allow you to go back if it's within a week). 2 days later, the gel on my other thumb had fallen off plus a chip on another finger. I called and told them what happened and they just kept saying "who did you see". No apology or explanation. I've been getting gel manicures for years and this hasn't happened to me before. I don't think their polish is good quality and do not recommend. Wasted money, time and gas (going back multiple times) for a manicure that doesn't even last 1 week. Very disappointing. read more

I really hate writing this review. Everyone is very nice there but the manicures are literally the worst. I walked out with worse nails than when i went in with. I do nails myself, but with moving over seas, i had no time. I decided to walk across the street to Coco nails to get them done last min. I came in with dip because my nails are genetically thin. Always have been since I was born. I tried explaining this to the tech. She applied Gel polish and at the end, it was so lumpy and with divoted valleys, I knew right away I was going to have to go somewhere else after to even get this fixed. I explained to the tech, that this is not ok, my hands are in peoples faces for a living (i work on film sets) and i cant have this. She then began to file my middle finger nail with the worst valley. She kept saying thats my nail shape, which it is not, it is not that nail shape i walked in with. She filed my middle nail so thin it began cracking right there. They had another tech come over and remove the polish, which as it was gel, took forever. Something that was supposed to be an hour of the little time i have let, turned in to two and half hours. The next tech had to do four coats of dip on my middle finger as it was still bending with two coats of dip. I'm just glad i stopped the previous woman from filing all my nails to tissue paper thinness. With in an hour of getting home, my middle nail dip and polish just completely popped off. Ive never had dip pop off a nail. Of course it was the nail she filed to nothing, so once the dip popped of, the nail just broke down to a quick. So now here i am about to move to another country, trying to save time, and ive had to spend an additional 2 hours finding another salon to fix what this place did. As a first-timer at this nail spa, my experience was terrible. The lady working there are nice but I didn't get what I went for. The lady at the front desk said we were allowed to show her photo references of what we wanted. I showed her a photo of what I was looking for and offered 3 alternatives if it was too complex. She took my phone to the back and 3 employees were mumbling multiple questions at me. I could hardly hear there and it seemed more than an issue than it was worth so I resorted to asking for just plain black nails. When they got to do my nails, the lady cutting my cuticles cut my finger twice and didn't acknowledge it. She also corners of my nails unpainted. Overall the staff was nice but I didn't get what I asked for, paid way more than was necessary, and left with two cut fingers. read more

It looks like I did my nails myself. A friend that I went with they wanted extra dollars to remove her nail polish. Huh? What kind of customer service is that! I've never had a bad manicure, pedicure, or even facial here! They are fantastic and very thorough. Every woman who has provided me a service here has been kind, sweet, and gentle. They are very diligent about getting your nails to just the length you request. I do wish more of them would offer the gel-x service, which it seems only some of them can do. Great selection of colors, extremely clean, extremely cute (beautiful murals on the wall! Bright and not sterile and dull like so many salons). I have never had an issue with chipping, nails coming off, infections, etc. Way above and beyond nearly any other nail salon. I usually see Jeanette and/or Vicky. Funny, warm, really nice people. I live fairly far now but still come down here sometimes just to come here. read more

This is by far the best nail spa experience I have ever had. I was welcomed with amazing hospitality and given the best seat in the house with the best service from the top elite nail techs. The quality of my gel x exceeding my expectations by far and the price was fair. I highly recommend getting a full body massage from KIM. She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed as she took care of my tension and shoulder knots. I left crying because I felt so relieved to release all my pain in a clean, safe, and affordable place. Julie did a wonderful job with my aromatherapy pedicure (treat yoself, ammirite?) and Shana crushed these spooky marbled and 3D bloody nails ! Shana worked so hard to get these done to my liking and I appreciate her attention to detail and dedication. This place is pricey but I am a licensed cosmo myself and I'll tell you you're laying here for not only talent and experience but also for a place with clean practices who won't leave you bleeding and tell you it's fine. I wasn't going to write a review, but after a week I finally caved and cut off the tip of my last long nail and I think I need to say something. I went in last week to get dip powder nails for the first time - and even though I've never had it done before, I knew that what was being done to my nails wasn't correct. The lady who was doing them kept asking advice from other nail techs, and by the time she was almost done I knew they were badly botched. First of all, the color was not what I expected. It was a hot Barbie pink instead of the more subtle pink the swatch led me to believe. But most of all, they looked like I had hot pink lumps of playdough on my fingers. I asked her if they would be filed down and smoother and she said yes - so I just waited. As she went to file them down, she started filing them down so much that it was hitting my nail bed UNDER my real nails. I was sitting there in tears. I don't usually complain, so I just watched it happen- but finally it was so bad that I spoke up and asked her to take it off please. Her and another tech went to work taking them off - and at first she didn't even put foil over the remover. At this point it was 6:30 - and I went in there for my original appointment was at 4. I needed to get home because I wasn't expecting it to take so long and I needed to breastfeed my baby - and they were STILL in the process of taking them off. They used a drill to take off the polish eventually, and it was so hot that it burned the top of my nail and made me cry even more. They offered to put gel on for free and I refused - I didn't want them touching my nails anymore. They also offered to put a nail strengthener on it - but I just wanted out of there. I basically fled in tears. I paid for my $50 pedicure (which wasn't great either and I ended up redoing that night after I realized they didn't get the entire nails) and I left in pouring down tears. The lady at the desk offered to give me a $30 gift certificate and followed me out to the parking lot. She said "it would make me feel better if you took it." I'm not a shouter or complainer, but I was in tears still and I just wanted to leave and be left alone. I wasn't going to leave a review because maybe I'm too picky - but after a week, my previously longish and strong nails have all had to be cut off, and taking off my nail polish burns - because there are holes and wounds on my nails where the drill went too far. I'll add that I still gave the lady a $10 tip because I felt bad - but people keep telling me I shouldn't have. I wish I would have spoken up earlier when I first noticed her asking for help and when the dip looked lumpy, and I wish they would have just left me leave without continuing to pester me. I was obviously distraught, and wouldn't be coming back, so a gift certificate wasn't a good way to have me try them again - especially because I don't think $30 covers anything there. Also didn't expect the pedicure to be $50. The other lady who did the pedicure did a good job at removing my gross skin. read more

I visited Coco's today around 11am and had a phenomenal experience! My feet feel so soft now and the leg massage was just what I needed (but didn't know I did). I, like many folks, go to Coco's to help relax and feel better. Take a deep breath before you walk in and know that Jean hires very caring employees and trains them to meet her high expectations. It helps to go during the day as the evenings can be busy with those who made appointments as well as those who walk-in. They ask if you want a bottom coat(basically hold a bottle of clear polish and say do you want a to use it? It's $5 extra that you have to ask 3 questions to get to that answer. My daughters tip nails weren't straight and they wanted to charge us 1/2 to fix 4 nails. 1/2 if the entire set! So $75 + $40 to fix crooked nails. Thought I would give it one more try but we are done. read more

The lady who was assigned to me was rushing, spilled a container of nail polish remover on the ground, and kept complaining that whoever did my nails prior did the gel too thick (uh ok), she continued to say that it's a lot of work that she's doing... whomp, whomp. She cut my nails too short, filed it unevenly, and scrapped the prior gel off that my nails are now sensitive and thin. I didn't let her paint them because I already wasn't happy. I've come to this salon three times, the first two times I had a great experience but not this time. Besides the nail tech not doing the color I asked for and showed her a picture of she did a poor job overall. She filed three of my nails so rough it broke skin and I was bleeding. On some of the other nails it looks like she didn't file at all. And then as she was polishing my nail I let her know there was a black lint on it so she wipe it off and she still put polish on it and set it under UV. I asked her for a design as well and even showed her a picture of it she was in such a hurry for her next appointment that the design did not look good in the end. I asked her to just wipe it off and she threw a tantrum because she was late for her next appointment. I was really uncomfortable and don't think I'll be returning. read more

Kim and Maria were so talented and so quick but perfectionists at the same time. I found a gem! The spa was clean, spacious, and had very comfortable stations.
