This weekend, Grayson and I visited Sharetea Renfrew, the newest location to the franchise. I loved how open the cafe at Sharetea Renfrew was. There were two tables to sit at and a long booth for people to sit at. Before we entered the cafe, we took a moment to look at the menu to see what we wanted to drink. The menu changed quite a bit from the last time we visited but we were excited to try some of their new drinks! I never saw the QQ happy family milk tea on their menu before but perhaps I've always just overlooked it. As it turns out, this was the most amazing drink! The milk tea had tea flavour with notes of caramel and was super rich and creamy. The drink is called QQ happy family because it had pudding, grass jelly, tapioca pearls, red bean and coconut jelly! This drink is perfect for those who are indecisive about which topping is best! The Hawaii fruit tea was one of their newest drinks! I had no idea what to expect but I received the most gorgeous orange coloured tea! This tea had a variety of fruity flavours in it. It was citrusy with notes of orange and grapefruit but also had sweetness from pieces of pineapple. I ordered my drink unsweetened since it would be coming with fruit syrups. I recommend ordering it this way if you're not a fan of sweet drinks. The ai-yu jelly was a nice neutral texture to compliment to the chewy bits of pineapple. Yum.

The kiwi fruit tea with aiyu jelly is elite - tangy, refreshing, and full of texture. I keep coming back for it even though I know I'm paying $7+ to drink fruit. I'd never seen this place before, so I decided to check it out. It's small but super clean and bright. It was giving an inviting vibe. There is seating available. They weren't busy when I arrived. 4 people at tables and nobody in line. I was served rather quickly. In terms of Slush, there was only 4-5 choices. I decided on a Lychee Slush with half pearls & half jelly. I don't know what she thought, but she seemed kinda confused ( it came with the jelly ) and she warned me that pearls were extra - which of course I know! Maybe because I asked for half and half ? Anyway no worries. It was nearly $9 (which is just as much or more then a frozen peach Bellini!! ) but with the add on I wasn't surprised. I used the washroom while she made my drink. It was very clean as well. My drink didn't take very long. It came in a nice cup (more sturdy of a plastic tumbler then normal ) and it had a cute little decorative item on the lid. The flavour was ok. I wasn't overly impressed but it wasn't bad. The ice was nice and smooth, but it could of used more Lychee for sure. Soft, chewy, and not saturated in syrup either. There's a decent amount of seating inside and the space is quite bright. If you're on the go, the location is very close to the SkyTrain and various buses. Looking forward to going back and trying more!

In walking around Kingsway, there were about 3 other tea shops within a one block radius. Stiff completion but completion brings other like mind tea drinkers so everyone should benefit. The shop front is small but very cute with a pastel coloured mural on one side of the wall and beautiful colourful posters on the other side to show the drinks, details & prices. I stood there for 6 minutes reading the drink menu as there were so many to choose from! I asked the staff what is their most popular drink and she suggested the Osmanthus Milk Tea with Fermented-Rice. Well, that didn't sound very appealing but I trusted her and ordered that with 30% sugar, 50% ice and added pearls. If you want fresh milk instead of milk powder then make sure to read the descriptions and look for "fresh milk". You can also control the sweetness (sugar) level and the amount of ice. To my surprise, the Osmanthus Milk Tea with Fermented-Rice was delicious. Light floral aroma and even chewed on a few of the flower leaves. Was not sour at all. Glad I tried something different. The price points for their drinks are very reasonable from $4.99 to 6.99. One poster showed desserts like ice cream, match tiramisu, cheesecake and mocha ice cream, another showed sparkling fruit drinks and slushy drinks - will definitely come back to try these.
