Bubble tea cravings satisfied! The biggest location in Ontario, for now at least. Visited for their soft opening in the evening (open from 3-10pm at this time). It's at the old Wendys location at the SW corner of Oxford & Wonderland (across from the Food Island supermarket). The inside has been completely overhauled with new tables and chairs and everything looks super simple and modern. Plenty of lighting and they have plants and other decor on the shelves and tables too. Nothing special from the menu relative to other Cocos - got the 3 Guys (grass jelly, tapioca, pudding) and it had plenty of toppings. At half sugar it still had a good taste. This looks to be a popular location as it was full most of the night, with lines extending to the door. They have booths and table seating for groups throughout the shop, unlike most other Coco shops which are more takeout focused. Also a one stop shop for food because they have partnered with Chi Chop where you can get various taiwanese snack foods or bento boxes. Saw some people eating the fried chicken and it looked good. Service was friendly and attentive during the ordering, and even though some employees were still training while making the drinks, it was managed well. Happy that London is getting more bubble tea shops, although it comes just in time as I am finishing up studies here.... :(

A wonderful place to go to for a study break, refresher, whatever the purpose is. The drinks are always tasty and very refreshing. My go to drink is their Grapefruit Green Tea with coconut jelly. Yes please!! My only complaint is the service. It is very hit or miss. On some occasions I get my drink almost instantly after ordering and other times I wait nearly 20-30 minutes. Yes, it can get that busy, especially when students are in town. Other than that, I'd for sure go here over Chatime if you are in the mood for something different. Chatime is great too, but come on, we all know they're everywhere right?

I like the brown sugar milk tea slush but it's quite sweet. Good flavour and consistency though. Tapioca is decent as well.

My favourite bubble tea spot in London! It can be pretty busy at night but always worth the wait!

This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. One of their lemonade bottles…read moreexploded on my counter in a million pieces like a bomb and the owner did nothing, barely even apologized. She actually made this frightening experience much worse with her terrible attitude. The bottle nearly blew up in my daughters face and could have been very serious if not deadly. I acknowledge it was left out and not in fridge for 2 days as label didn't say "must be refrigerated"... but does that mean it should explode like a Molotov cocktail? I will never shop here again and many people I have shared this story with have agreed.

They contacted me a day after to explain the situation, and have even taken steps to remove the Big Veg off the menu based on my suggestions/comments. The owners are two very heartful and dedicated women. It's wonderful to see such passion and care! ***END UPDATE Came here today for lunch with a friend! I ordered the Big Veg (a bunch of vegetables wrapped in collard greens) with their nutty bacon, and a side of sipping broth. My friend got their Seed to Sausage on beet bread, also with a side of sipping broth. The service there is very friendly, and it's a very hip and cool place! I love the concept, and it gives off a great vibe. However, my first experience was less than ideal... The Big Veg cost me $9, and with the sipping broth ($3), the total should have been $12. For some reason, they charged me $15, and so I asked for them to correct it. The correction took a while, but eventually they gave me back in cash. However, the cashier mistakenly gave me less than the amount owed, and overall, the entire refund process was quite slow. That being said, they were very apologetic and kind through it all, so the service was pretty good! My Big Veg fell short of expectations. First off, I must note that it is a take-out place. Although they had warned me beforehand to eat my wrap as a gyro (as the collard green is fragile and cannot sustain the content's weight), by the time I had arrived at my sit-down destination, the paper bag was soaked through. The sauce and dressing had leaked everywhere! It was a very messy eat, and despite being very careful, the sauce just kept dripping down my arms and in front of me. I would highly suggest that they reinforce the packaging for stronger protection (i.e., a double wrap). The wrap itself also lacked flavour, though that may have been in part due to my decision to get the nutty bacon (which was essentially just hemp, fried walnuts, with some smokey flavour). Maybe try the cheese or the actual bacon for more taste. The bone broth, though interesting, could have used more depth and flavour. Given my experiences, I would have given two stars - however, I had a bite of my friend's Seed to Sausage sandwich and it was quite tasty! I think it really depends on what menu item you ordered. Hers had the delicious smokey taste of the sausage, and was very clean and aesthetic!

Refresh Juice - Açai beauty bowl - $10 - açai, avocado, coconut oil, almond milk topped with fresh fruit and oats

I've always wanted to try Refresh, but never had the opportunity to have it until today, when I was…read moremaking a stroll through Downtown Guelph. They use the highest quality organic fruits and vegetables and are most famous for their cold-pressed juices. Instead of getting a cold-pressed juice, I decided to get one of their açai bowls. Here's my rundown: Food There were three açai bowls to choose from - classic, beauty, and soul. I got the beauty açai bowl which had the açai, avocado, coconut oil, and almond milk blend topped with bananas, granola, coconut flakes and fresh strawberries. The açai blend was smooth and rich in flavour while the fresh fruit and oats made for great flavours and textures. It was a very refreshing treat to get and had the perfect balance between all ingredients. Atmosphere Can't really comment on the atmosphere here because the store is quite small and has minimal seating. There were about 4 high chairs to sit but it's more meant to be used while you're waiting for your drinks or bowls. It's small like most downtown cafés and this place is more so for those grab and go type of people. Service Service was really friendly and the employee was helpful in helping me make a decision about the type of bowl to get. No complaints here; they were really inviting and patient with my indecisiveness. Price I paid $10 for the açai bowl! A little pricy but you're paying for quality organic food here so it's worth every dollar. Verdict Refresh is indeed a refreshing experience has they use only the finest organic fruits to make their products. I'm excited to return here to try their juices and other açai bowls. Definitely worth a try if you're roaming around downtown Guelph. A well-deserved 5/5 experience!
