Ashley has done eyebrows, eyelashes, and facials for my daughters and I…read more It seems odd calling it "eyebrows" this is absolutely nothing like getting your brows waxed at a kiosk, mall store, nail salon, or that little spot inside a grocery store. First of all her space is zen. Secondly, you walk out not just maintained but actually feeling transformed. This sounds like bs. But, I kid you not-I look 30 lbs lighter after she does my brows (shape design via wax & then tinting). I've had it done elsewhere and it's just upkeep. But, after she does them, family ,friends & coworkers always stop to compliment me. Anytime we have a big event or photos, I would rather have her do my brows than hire any other service including hair/makeup.

Booked earlier today after putting off the inevitable pre-vacation prep. Having been five years…read moresince I had my nethermost ladybits waxed, I decided to stop shaving and go full-monty before California. A friend owned a salon near Chicago previously, so this would be my first experience with an unfamiliar wax artisan, yet having seen great reviews for Melanie, was confident. The waiting area was clean, comfortable, and inviting. Immediately greeted and quickly checked in - wonderful for a first-time guest - even more excited to find out in-state residents receive half-price their first full bikini (their term for Brazilian). Feels like Christmas, let the games begin! By 4:15, the time of my appointment, I was notified Melanie was running a couple of minutes behind - loved the prompt notification - and by 4:17 Melanie was out greeting me. We walked back to the suite, I undressed while she prepped, and it was onto the table for business. Melanie was friendly, sweet, all smiles, conversational, informational, gentle, and darn good! Will certainly be coming back and highly recommend the establishment, especially Melanie. Well done all-around!

I think that if you're a nail salon, you should have all aspects of nail art/design right? & that a nail technician should know how to do them ALL. It's your profession, perfect the craft.... That's my only reason of 4 stars instead of 5 They do GREAT MANI/POLISH WORK!!!

I have been looking for a reputable place to get laser hair removal and laser tattoo removal…read more After searching aimlessly without any success, I saw a recommendation in The Branch Naperville Group for Angela Bhatti. at A Beauty Laser + Skin. Past reviews from clients consistently offered high praise after having seen Angela for various skin and laser treatments, from laser resurfacing, facials, anti-aging, as well laser tattoo removal and laser hair removal. In line with all the kudos, Angela was wonderful and extremely informative. She carefully explained in detail the processes involved with my procedures, as well as about the realistic results to expect. Additionally, her pricing was very competitive and reasonable, making it an easy choice to choose A Beauty Laser + Skin for my desired services. While I have only completed the first of my series of necessary treatments, I can already see results in the fading of my tattoo (thin black cursive writing), as well as noticeably diminished and slower hair growth. I was able to undergo the laser without any numbing cream or other analgesic and found it not very painful. Aftercare was carefully described, and Angela called the following day to see if there were any issues. I'll be heading in for my next session soon and look forward to another pleasant experience towards achieving my desired results.
