Nice place! There's enough seating inside to relax with company. The donuts were a little overpriced in my opinion. While I do love the variety of options, I couldn't try the ones I wanted to try due to cost. The donuts are sorted by regular and some that are more "deluxe." A regular half dozen costs about $16. The donuts were good but nothing I would personally get again. Now the real reason for 4 stars is because the service is AMAZING. There was one lady there and she was just too kind. She answered all my questions and even made small talk with me about my travels. She also helped me arrange some of my pictures because my hands were full I would go back to this place solely for the owner because she was just lovely.

This location is little more than a walk in window but I'm glad it exists. It's easy to pop in from the max and very conveniently located. They only have one person working generally so a line can form but not too long. Its reasonably priced for a dozen donuts and they will pick out an assortment for you so you don't have to do any mental work there which was nice. The donuts themselves were delicious of course, I brought a dozen in for the office and everyone was quite thrilled.

Maple and buttermilk donuts

Stopped here as part of a food tour. We had a maple long donut and a buttermilk. We also had a cinnamon mocha and caramel latte. All of it was very good!!! They have individual seating as well as a long group table.

Strawberry mochi donut and a regular iced latte

Strawberry mochi donut and a regular iced latte, both were so good! I especially loved the mochi donut. The owner was so sweet and welcoming! They also have fall drinks and a variety of donuts.

Located next to the Hilton hotel I saw this shop's popularity because I see they offer a lavender glazed donut I stopped by right around 11am with several customers hanging out inside too (no dine-in available though) Sadly their lavender glazed donut wasn't available yet...sadface - turns out throughout the day certain batches get delivered so I guess the morning batch didn't include their lavender glazed donut. the staff member though (super sweet) informed me they could possibly be getting another batch later and let me know additional locations of Coco Donuts too to possibly find the lavender glazed donut - how kind! We ordered a couple items nonetheless - Sugar donut, and their Cinnamon crumble/almond crumb donut - standard but yum nonetheless. We opt for their Ube turnover(?) that was also pretty tasty Worth checking out if you're in the mood for donuts - on the way to Stumptown Coffee too if you're heading that way!

Welcome

I was in Portland and saw people walking around with pink boxes. I later found out that there were donuts in the pink box. This location is on 6th street across the street from the Hilton Hotel. I ordered the chocolate custard filled donut and it was delicious!

Perhaps it wasn't the best batch but I felt my donuts were somewhat undercooked; had a doughy taste and texture to them.

Just a very average donut, but served with a sincere smile. If you're in the area, give it a try...but I wouldn't make a special trip.

It's a beautiful example of an industrial building being used for exactly what it should be. Exposed materials, high ceilings, roasting equipment, and a café that feels connected to the actual work of producing coffee. There's something refreshing about seeing the machinery and craftsmanship instead of another coffee shop built around a carefully manufactured aesthetic. I've spent much of my career in the coffee industry, and I still get excited walking into places like this. Coava has been an important part of the Pacific Northwest's specialty coffee movement, and visiting the SE Grand location gives you a real appreciation for that history. What I particularly appreciate is the emphasis on coffee itself. The space invites you to pay attention to what you're drinking, but doesn't require you to know anything about processing methods or extraction to enjoy being there. Portland has an embarrassment of riches when it comes to coffee, but Coava belongs on any serious coffee itinerary. If you're interested in roasting, coffee culture, or simply seeing a beautiful space dedicated to the craft, make the stop.

We got their Black Sesame Cloud Matcha and Vanilla Cloud Earl Grey Matcha. The Black sesame cloud matcha has this strong sweet flavor with very popping black sesame flavor. Super nutty and smooth paste. Imagine ceremonial matcha combined with Oreos. It is contrasting between the 2 like at times the Black Sesame flavor was overpowering the matcha but yet it works? The Vanilla Cloud Earl Grey Matcha is your standard matcha drink but the tea flavor stands out and compliments the strong ceremonial matcha powder, with an harmonious symphony between sweetness and herbal tea profiles. Definitely order this if you want the standard "default matcha" but with a hint of Tealoft's specialty take on Matcha. As seen in the picture, the matcha is a good green, with a dense luscious cloud topping. Inside there's small amount of seatings, enough for ~6 different party and a self serve kiosk. Overall Tealoft has great services, nice PNW aesthetics and in my opinion great twist on Matcha in Oregon. Would come back 100%.

A very kind security guard opened the front door for us and greeted us with a very big smile. Inside, the cafe is HUGE! it stretches out towards the back and has fun flyers and posters. Very clean and smells like coffee beans! I tried their rose gold latte and my fiancé asked for their cherry vanilla latte, both seasonal items. It was strong and tasted exactly as described. The line was long but we got in the coffee shop right away and maybe waited for our drinks around 15 minute after ordering. They were sold out of the wildwood mugs and it looked like they had one last bag of coffee beans for the wildwood collection. Stumptown is a bit bitter for me usually but this drink was good. It did end up being pretty sweet but since Stumptown coffee is bitter (for me), I figured it was the only way to mask the bitterness. My partner got the hot version with regular milk (both $8.25) and he had less coffee and more of the whipped topping. His cup was 75% coffee. Now let's talk, the artwork. The cinematography on the walls were great - such a great teaser to the movie and ode to Portland. I would not have came down to SW 3rd for Stumptown otherwise but happy we did.

Totally recommend this spot! First off, love how it's situated in a previous bus shelter. It's such a vibe, and it's also perfect for a quick grab-and-go experience. We came twice in a day and appreciated how quickly they made drinks on the spot! The workers were very efficient, kind, and checked on us. My manager and I got a variety of drinks. We got the Black Sesame Cream Latte, Ube Latte, and Ssuk Latte. The Black Sesame Cream Latte is strong. The cream was super thick and creamy, and it was a struggle to mix and sip. It wasn't too nutty, but it was still good. The Ube Latte was good! It was very creamy; the ube flavor came through, and it was delicious. I didn't add any coffee, and it was perfect. The Ssuk Latte was my absolute favorite! It was so good, earthy, and herby. The milk added a bit of sweetness. It was my first time trying it, and I'd go back just for it. Less and More Coffee is such a gem for a quick caffeine stop! Find them off SW 5th Ave. for coffee, tea, and non-caffeinated drinks. I'd definitely come back!

I wasn't getting too much of a chocolate flavor to it (obviously there was a good amount of coffee flavor). Will definitely have to come back for some of their other drinks. The black sesame latte is calling my name.

I've had mochas all over and none compares to the way Joe and his staff concoct the drinks at Tov. The chocolatey-ness, viscosity, mouthfeel, flavor, sippability, sweetness, always satisfy my palate, and the balance of coffee to other flavors is always to my preference. Their drinks are decadent and may take a bit longer to make than expected, and I find it is well worth the wait. I enjoy getting comfortable on Joe's very colorful red cushions, taking in the purple Egyptian vibes within and the eccentric vibrancy that is Hawthorne outside. Fun fact: Joe doesn't believe in plain old ice, and instead he freezes cubes of milk! The cubes stratify into discrete layers that are fun to crunch through, reminiscent of the layers of baklava. We stopped in here after playing a round at the Wonderwood Mini Golf. It had been hot and cramped and we really needed a drink. The door was being held open by a line of people and usually that is a great sign. Being busy is awesome for the business and I am glad they are so popular. It was a weekday, probably around 11 am and there were just so many people in line. It was really cute inside but SO chaotic. There were tons of kids screaming and at times it was difficult to tell where the line really was. After about 5 minutes of the line not moving, I started to get a slight headache from the noise and we agreed we would have to go somewhere else. It was probably for the best as all the indoor and outdoor seating was full so there would have been nowhere for us to eat even if we had braved the line. I think when a business reaches this level of popularity, it's important to put systems in place to keep patrons from feeling crowded and overwhelmed and it's definitely something they might want to look into in the future.
