I'd like to give a higher rating to this ma & pa, but I just can't. Please, please, please do not put food items on the menu if it's mediocre or subpar! Ordered the chili cheese fries: canned chili, three slices of processed cheese melted, with a garnish. Slices of processed cheese has worked, but canned chili that's not even high quality?! That's a huge No-No. The owner gave us free bottles of water and offered free donuts too. Very hardworking man. Just fell extremely short on flavor. Their outdoor seating was more frequented by people waiting for their bus than actual patrons. Seating is only shaded by the building itself and faces the busy street. It does allow for the company of your dog. Maybe they should stick to just donuts and drinks. Most likely will not return unless someone recommends a must-have donut or something that only they make or are the best at! Remember: Food adventures are out there. I love family businesses!! My brothers brought me here and I'm so happy they did. The gentleman helping us was so nice and super attentive! He offered such great customer service and offered even better food.. my goodness was it so yummy ! And they also make homemade juices which I loved! Nothing gives 5 stars like having fresh oranges juice.. but what got me they had orange juice mixed with mango completely blew me away!! Been driving by this place since 1996 when i moved into the area and today i decided to try it. I am glad i did. The food took a while to make because it's made to order paul the owner is a really nice guy and a guru on health shots and drinks. I ordered the chicken sandwich with fries and it was delicious. Probably the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. An overwhelming amount of food options with different specials and depictions of food strewn on every wall of the restaurant along with like 40 live plants a small selection of books it's a comfy welcoming vibey yet cluttered space. However he prepared to wait a long time for food. We ordered short rib plate and the wait was around 40minutes and we were the only customers. Service is friendly but lacking a bit knowledge. Waitress had to run to the back to check on stock and supplies several times when we asked about the menu so be patient. Great food and great service! This place has been on my radar for breakfast for a while, and I'm so glad we finally went! The guy working, who I assume was the owner, was very friendly and offered us free samples of the orange juice, free ginger shots, and a free donut (which we turned down). I ordered the breakfast wrap and my boyfriend ordered the H.E.C. Croissant, which he added bacon and spinach to at no extra cost. The wrap came out looking like tacos but was delicious all the same. The sausage in it was really good. I had a bite of the croissant as well and that was delicious too. The orange juice was amazing too, fresh squeezed in front of us! He suggested a croissant sandwich for me which was great, it had two kinds of sausages, eggs, avocado, and cheese. My boyfriend got the Asian breakfast which was rice, egg, sausage, okra, and jalapeno (I think it had more but I don't remember). We got two donuts while waiting for breakfast and they tasted fresh and delicious. They also have fresh squeezed juice!!! Mango, carrot, and green juice. The regular fries use good seasoning. The Philly cheese steak was an abomination. The photo showed overflowing onions and mushrooms. What I got was unmarinated steak slices, barely any cheese and onions, no mushrooms, and Worschster Sauce on the side. Will give it a second chance since people seem to like the breakfasts here, but avoid the Philly and be prepared to wait. Parking in the small lot may be tough during peak. The menu was decent with options but kind of overpriced for what was offered. My fiance ordered "angus cheese burger with fries". My fiance was extremely disappointed with his order. The cheese was not melted, the patty was super thin and by "fries" it was very minimal fries. Fortunately, we did order some chili cheese fries on the side, which was decent. It was amazing and it wasn't bad. But, while trying to order the chili cheese fries, the girl at the front did not understand the concept of "chili cheese fries". It was on their wall menu and we kept having to repeat ourselves and even point at the menu a few times for her to actually get it. I ordered the breakfast wrap. I wasn't a huge fan of it either. It had so many different types of meat in it (bacon, pork sausage, ham, kielbasa). There was just too much going on with it. Aside from the disappointment with the food, it took forever to even get our food. It took maybe 20 or so minutes to get my fiance's order with the chili cheese fries. Then an additional 10 minutes to get my breakfast wrap. We were in a rush for a class so by the time I even got my breakfast wrap, my fiance had already finished his meal.
