My wife and I went shopping a H-mart Burlington Mass and after that we stoped into coco cosmetics in H-mart to look at Plabeau skin care for wrinkles and other things like acne. You can see the display when you first walk in with a video playing on your right. The women working Eunjoo she told us she's the owner showed us a brochure and explained about the product and was very nice. She told us if you are not happy with the product you can return it in 40 days, but there's nothing that says that so I had her wright it on the receipt. The price was 650.00 plus tax 690.63 it's very expensive but if it really works and does what she said it would do its worth the price. So we brought it home to try it out after charging it. We discovered it didn't work at all, and the charging cord had been unraveled this product had been used. So we bought it back the next day to show her that it doesn't work she tested it herself and discovered it did not work. So she says I'm going to tell you the truth, I've been using this to show and test to my customers and this is the only one that doesn't work. Well we couldn't believe what we just heard we were very upset. Then she says i was going to call you to tell you to get a new one because the one sold you was already used. This owner is a scam artist and she knows exactly what's she's doing. She didn't even charge my credit card, she said I knew you were going to come back. I'm 66 and I've never seen anything like this in my entire life. Be very aware of this store because if someone writes down all your information from your credit card and phone # and zip code be very aware it's a scam. P. S. No apologies from this woman. She keeped saying i didn't charge you what's the problem. Unbelievable. read more

Sales woman is very sweet and chill. She's there if you have any questions but doesn't follow you around like the woman at the aritaum in the same building. I drive an hour to come to this store because they have a great selection and a great sales woman :) read more

Unlike the previous comment, the old woman who works is not an honnest person. She always try to recommend you to buy the most expensive skin care set in the store (since they dont have that much of customers anyway). I wanted to buy the Whoo Whitening set that my friend is using and she said its very good. (She bought it on Amazon, her set was shipped directly from Korea). I couldnt wait to that long to try the products so I went to COCO COSMETIC after groceries shopping in H mart. The old woman recommened me a whitening skin care special kit which is way more expensive then the set I wanted to get, and said "guarantee no reaction and there is the 30 days exchange /store credit policy." She also told me that I would see the different within 3 weeks of using the product. After a week of using the "Isa Knox" that I bought here I saw no different in the positive way. I had bad reaction with the product then i stopped using it to let me skin calm down. I took a closer look at the package & noticed the WHITENING part from the description on the product was covered by a silver tape. (I attached the pictures so you guys can see it). It cost me $233.13 to buy the product that irritated my skin so I called the store to ask her if I could exchange to something else or the store credit. NOW she started yelling at me on the phone and found a reason to hang up on me while I am trying to explain what happened to my skin. She promised to call me back 2 days after which she never did. I called back then she said "I didnt call the company yet. But i will let you know once I called them" I was stupid to tell her the date I purchased the item because she will bot pick up the phone when she saw my numbers showed up. May be she is waiting until the 30 days exchange policy that they have expires.. P.S. Don't believe the other two reviews, since they blocked a negative comment from a yelp reviewer who bought an EXPIRED hair color kit from this store and didnt get her $ back. The 2 accounts that posted 5 stars for this store is not truth worthy since those accounted was both created around the same time in 2010 when they first opened Coco Cosmetic inside H-mart Burington. There are almost 300 reviews on H-mart (4stars) rating and only 2 reviews for this store which is located right infront of the entrance of the market. Can you really believe that? I hope YELP will show my honest comment to prevent the same con happens to others. read more

I bought a hair color kit from this store today and found the date printed on the case was "2009.05.20". I was told it was manufacture date, and the product was valid for 3 years. As it was written in Korean and I couldn't read Korean thus I didn't feel comfortable to buy it anymore. So I asked if I could return this product as I didn't take it away and didn't open it yet. Two women worked in the store told me they could only give me credit of their store but could not refund the money to me. I asked them why I could not get refund as I didn't take it away and didn't open it and it was only roughly $17 with tax. In addition, I don't need their store credit as I don't need to buy any other cosmetics from them. I only wanted to get the refund. They didn't listen and insisted they could only give me credit and one of the woman who look older started showing her attitude. I asked them if they would like to lose a customer for less than $17. The woman said "It's OK!" with arrogant attitude. She seemed not care if their store would lose more business and would hurt their reputation. I had not met any business people like such two Korean women in America treated customers in such a rude way. I don't know if they own this store or were hired to be sale women. Anyway I can tell where their business is going if they continue doing business in this way and treating their customers in such unprofessional and unfriendly way. I will never step into this cosmetics store ever and don't recommend anybody buy anything from this store. read more
