First off, the inside is beautiful. They did an incredible job with the renovation, and I loved all the little details, especially the custom 300-pound manhole covers they're using as tables around the bar. Even better, everyone working there was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Now the food! We started with the Baked Clams, and these were legit. You could've served them to me at an Italian restaurant and I wouldn't have questioned it. The Nonna's Ribs were probably one of the biggest surprises--slow-braised pork ribs with cherry peppers and finished on the grill. Fall-off-the-bone tender, tons of flavor, and I loved that they weren't just drenched in BBQ sauce. The Firebird crispy chicken sandwich was fantastic, and the Steakhouse Sandwich with sliced NY strip, mushrooms, provolone, crispy onions and horseradish aioli was also very well done. But that Manhole Burger deserves some special attention. Beef, American cheese, caramelized onions and dijonnaise on brioche. Simple combination, executed REALLY well. This was an outstanding burger and absolutely something I'd order again. And I can't leave out the fries. They're hand-cut in house, super thin and crispy, and exactly how I like my fries. Think that addictive thin fast-food style, except made fresh and much better quality. If you remember this location from its previous ownership, give it another shot. This is a completely different experience. Beautiful restaurant, genuinely friendly staff and food that exceeded my expectations. Foundry Tavern is a Hicksville hidden gem that deserves more attention--especially for lunch. I'll definitely be back.

Heard the guy next to us order a French dip and the waiter said great, we have only 2 left. So when he came to us I ordered and he said great timing it's the last one. Took 45 minutes to get our strawberry salad which was delicious. Another 3o minutes go by (and the guy next to me who ordered the other French dip had already finished and left) So the strawberry waiter, after more than 1.15hr walk over and says "hey, we ran out of the French so I ordered you the steak sandwich. Huh? 1 hour and fifteen min later you ran out and the other guy already ate and left? I said great, but I'm not paying for it. 10 min later the owner came out. He could not have been a friendlier, responsible and all around nice person. It wasn't that he not only covered my meal but the table but it was the way he handled it. Owning a restaurant is not easy and problems happen. Food - 8/10 Prices 9/10 Place 8/10 I would not only recommend this place but they have absolutely earned my business. I obviously can't give a 5 because of the incident but I will change this to a 5 when I go back and get the service I have a feeling I'll receive. This owner deserves the business because he knows how to run a business. Money follows the people not the other way around.

The staff was very friendly and attentive from start to finish. They made us feel welcome and were happy to answer questions about the menu. We went for the all-you-can-eat buffet, and it was absolutely delicious! The seafood was noticeably fresh and tasty -- crab legs, shrimp, mussels, and a great variety of other options were all well-prepared and flavorful. Everything tasted fresh, not frozen or overly salted like some buffet places. The sides and accompaniments were solid too. For the quality and unlimited seafood, the price was very reasonable -- definitely one of the best budget-friendly seafood options on Long Island. Whether you're craving fresh seafood or just want a fun, satisfying meal without breaking the bank, I would highly recommend Sexy Crab. Great spot for families, couples, or groups. The food is consistently delicious, and their cocktail menu is absolute top-tier. I usually go with the Lychee Coconut cocktail, which is wonderfully refreshing and smooth. My husband recently enjoyed the Two Sheets to the Wind. We have had their fresh east coast oysters, tuna tartar, the crispy and flavorful Bang Bang Shrimp, and the Prosciutto Flatbread topped with arugula, fig jam, and goat cheese. You also cannot skip out on their "Quebec Famous" poutine, it is completely divine with crispy fries, mozzarella, and savory gravy. If you are looking for an incredible vibe, stellar drinks, and elevated comfort food, this is the place to be. We will definitely be back again soon!

Our food came out quickly as well. My main thing is we enjoyed the appetizers, but the entrees were just okay. The Thai Peanut Calamari was my favorite -- I hope this never gets taken off the menu! The Shishito Peppers were also good. When it came to the other food, the Mac and Cheese as well as the Short Rib unfortunately just didn't hit the spot. That being said, I would still recommend checking this place out and trying the calamari!

The space features a contemporary design with a nice bar area, and the waitstaff were friendly, attentive, and on point throughout the evening. They also offer a happy hour menu (though it didn't apply to our visit). Food was more mixed. Overall presentation on the dinner plates missed the mark. The lasagna was solid (about a 3.0)--flavorful enough, but it just sat unevenly in the dish with no real visual appeal. The special osso buco came with a sauce that leaned too sweet; the risotto underneath was tasty, but the dish as a whole didn't quite impress. On the brighter side, the special soft-shell crabs were excellent--served in a Française-style sauce that hit the mark both in flavor and presentation. The fried calamari was fresh and tasty, elevated by the smart addition of fried artichoke hearts. Dessert sealed the night well, the homemade rice pudding sprinkled with walnuts was delicious and definitely worthy of a permanent spot on the menu. A pleasant evening overall, driven by strong atmosphere and service, with a couple of standout dishes balancing out the less memorable ones.

I came here last week for an event, and got to enjoy basically a tasting menu of sorts…read more This menu took Indian flavors on a seriously fun ride. From rich and smoky to spicy, tangy, creamy, and refreshing. Banjara Tikka brought tender chicken thighs layered with yogurt, fried onion and garlic. Mauryaji Basket Chaat delivered chickpeas, potato, tamarind, mint, pomegranate and a creamy yogurt mousse. The Chicken Seekh Kebab was perfectly seasoned and savory with pickled laccha onion, while the Guntur Chilli Chicken Bao turned up the heat with Guntur red chili, sesame and refreshing beetroot shikanji shots. The vegetarian dishes absolutely held their own as well. Chilli Momo with carrot, sesame and seaweed, came out with a soft, delicate bite and a subtle chew, filled with a lightly spiced vegetable mix that leaned savory and aromatic rather than overpowering heat. The Paneer Makhni was rich, velvety, and deeply comforting. The paneer stayed soft and pillowy, soaking up a buttery tomato-cashew gravy that was slightly sweet, gently tangy, and finished with that unmistakable fenugreek aroma that tied everything together. The mains were just as unforgettable. Laal Maas came in bold and unapologetic. Tender goat slow-cooked until it practically melted off the bone, swimming in a deep, smoky gravy built on mathania chilies that brought slow heat. The Shrimp Malai Curry was the complete opposite in tone. Silky coconut milk wrapped around plump tiger shrimp, with Bengali whole spices adding a gentle sweetness and aromatic depth that made the dish feel light yet indulgent at the same time. And somehow dessert still had room to impress. Rose Kulfi was creamy, floral and sweet without being overwhelming. Drinks included everything from the floral, mezcal-and-rooza Gulabo to Mango Lassi. And as someone who historically doesn't like anything rose flavored, I enjoyed both the drink AND the dessert. Just as good as the food, was the service. It is definitely a spot that should not be missed.

One person running the whole room who was the host, bartender, busboy and waiter so we were definitely being patient throughout the night as the service was slow. We received our spicy chicken appetizer before any water. But that wasn't even my biggest issue. Main problem was the amount of times we heard the word "no." No to wanting to sit in a booth (only 2 other tables sitting at the time). He told us there was a reservation for the booth that had no one ever show up for. The whole dinning room only had 2 other tables that were occupied the whole time we were there. And we were there till almost 10:00 pm. He said "no" to ordering a drink without the mezcal in it. He said no to adjusting spice level of the biryani from mild to medium. And I couldn't keep up after that but the no's kept coming. It was on the later side, my daughter was hungry so we just stuck with it unfortunately. Food was mediocre. Some good items some worse. The chicken biriyani had way too much masala on the bottom. The ratio was off completely between the rice and chicken. The firey chicken appetizer was good. The chicken tikka masala entrée came out wayyyy too spicy. And my husband loves spicy but he was literally sweating through the meal. The waiter did offer to change it but at that point we wanted to just finish and leave. He did give us 3 of the rose kulfie's to compensate for the u reasonably spicy chicken, which was the best part of the whole meal. The shrimp in my daughter's noodles were overcooked but the noodles were ok. Sadly this was our anniversary dinner. Such a disappointment! We should have gone to Baijaan like we were originally planning to!

During the winter months I'd do takeout and every time the food was great at home. I love their soba noodles salad when it's in season, however they switched to a different noodle and it doesn't have the same oomph! The owner recognizes me from all the times I've been there for dining in, takeout, called, and parties and events. I went there again last night with some family and overall it was very nice. One star deduction for the rudeness we received from the manager. She came over after we ordered a second bottle of the Freemark Abbey (wine) (as they were completely out and the first bottle we ordered was their last bottle in stock) and gave us two "similar" options that were around the same price of the first bottle. Price doesn't equal to taste. We first asked if it's okay to try it even if we may not like it, and she kindly proceeded to open the bottle. We said "no thanks," to the Keever (it tasted disgusting in comparison), which she and her colleague highly suggested, and we asked nicely if the other bottle was an option to try, but she swiftly walked back inside with both bottles and brought out an open bottle of the Katherine Cab. We liked that better. She stormed away after she said something fast and nasty like "It's either the bottle or you have to pay per glass." We didn't quite catch it but the ultimatum put a bad taste in everyone's mouths. We wound up ordering the Katherine Cab. When we got the bill the server charged us fairly. We tipped well because it's not the server's fault she was upset about opening the wine that she pushed. Happy eats!
