Awesome venue. We saw Bring me the horizon. Lots of standing room on the first floor but the 2nd floor has the nice seats. You get a great view of the stage from the seats. The bathrooms were clean, the bartenders were friendly, the music was clear but not blasting in your ears. Can't wait to go to another concert here! read more

I used to love this place when the areas upstairs were open to all. Now security pushes you around and they block the entrances to the stairs. Between this and the expensive drink prices, I'd rather go to more convenient venues more easily accessible ITP. read more

This is my new favorite venue. The floor is wide so there's more space to get close to the stage. We sat in different sections to get a feel for the place. The only bad seats are the ones behind the columns and beside the speakers on either side of the stage. Even in the farthest seat, the sound quality is excellent with a good view. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is a food menu which we didn't know until we got there because we didn't see it on the website. With two bars downstairs and one upstairs, there was no waiting for drinks. The bathrooms were huge, so no waiting there either. Just an all around great place to go for concerts. read more

Bought tickets to see Papa Roach here, but could not even get into the show because the parking was full for miles due to there being a MLB game scheduled at the same time. The Braves stadium is basically right next to the venue, so if a major baseball game is going on, I recommend avoiding buying tickets to this venue. We drove around for hours trying to find somewhere to park, only to get turned away, to find "lot full" signs, or to be told we couldn't park in a particular lot. Tried to call the venue, no one answered. Police kept sending us to different lots that were full. Horrible night to schedule a concert. Ticketmaster/livenation will not refund the tickets, and I doubt the terms of the ticket insurance I paid for will cover this instance. So I lost over $120, plus gas, and wasted my day off driving hours out of state only to drive around for hours more, only to completely miss the show, and have to drive back for more than two hours to get back home. Will not buy tickets here again. read more

So this place... Is like the cleaner and slightly larger place of the Tabernacle/Opera. The only thing that sucks about this location is, it's technically​ not in Atlanta. It's in Cobb! Let's get that straight. And parking here is insanely expensive and you have no choice but to park at their parking decks because there's nowhere to really park. So get ready to open your wallets and give $20-$30 just for parking. Better get there early and spend the entire day there. There are a very few stores for shopping and eating. Anyways the Roxy is nice. I like their walls. It's just different artists all on the wall. It's two stories. Downstairs is the floor to the stage and on the other side of the wall is the bathroom and where the foods are. On the floor where the stage was, there's an open bar. The upstairs is the VIP section and lots of chairs and tables. It looks like basically a movie theatre. On the ceilings there are lots of nice chandeliers​. It looks really fancy inside. The only thing that sucks if you have floor tickets when you are short is you can't see the stage. So you either have to literally be upfront right by the stage or all the way in the back to see anything on stage. If not, good luck trying to see past everyone in front of you. Even then you can't. And then your neck starts hurting. My neck was sore the next day... So it was hard to enjoy it. We came here to see Dustin Lynch. Either way sexy cowboy knows how to put on a show! We enjoyed it! Will I come back? Possibly. I'd get seats up stairs next time. read more

First time at this venue, I really enjoyed it. Great location, sequestered between tons of restaurants and bars in a nice part of town. The venue itself is large and can definitely host high end performers. There are multiple bars in various locations, so there isn't a bottleneck of people in one area trying to get drinks. The prices for drinks is pretty ridiculous, but not totally surprising these days. read more

Pros: Clean. A lot of space to move around in. Good sound. Cons: Bad viewing angles. Very bad. Lower level GA section is large and flat, so I can't imagine being able to see well if you're short and not right at the front. Upper level side seating does not have much differentiation between levels and the stage is blocked by the "VIP" box section. For a new venue, it should be better. Viewing angles shouldn't be an issue. Sports teams have figured this out. The new stadium across the street doesn't have the same problem. This venue seems designed to make people spend more money rather than to provide a good experience. read more

Took my 15 yo to see Alice In Chains! Awesome venue, awesome show. Recommend buying a seat upstairs if a) you don't want to stand the whole show and b) you are short and have trouble seeing over taller people. Plenty of concession stand areas and easy in and out. read more

I came here to see Harry Styles and had an awful experience. While the concert itself was of course incredible, the venue had no idea what they were doing. Firstly, they oversold tickets regardless of the show already being sold out. This meant that they had to squish GA people on the floor. Harry himself had to make sure his fans on the floor were alright. It also took them TWO HOURS to get all of them inside the venue and they made the people with reserved seating wait outside until they finished taking care of the GA crowd. We had to miss the opening act because of this and barely made it on time for Harry. The employees kept telling my friends and I different directions about where we were supposed to go and it was completely unorganized. I would discourage anyone from coming here, especially for a sold out show. read more

For all my adult life going to concerts I have frequently run into a common problem: going out to eat with friends before a show and then not having a safe place to store my leftovers during the show so that I could enjoy them later. Why should I have to give up my leftovers just because I'm going to a show? This injustice has plagued me and my friends for years. But alas, the cloudy skies parted this weekend and the Roxy shone through like the beacon of a Nantucket lighthouse guiding me safely home. The Roxy provided a real solution. Real change. Not only does this venue have a great coat check where they safely stored my posters as well, but we can all rejoice in the fact that they will also COAT CHECK YOUR LEFTOVERS and deliver them back to you safely post-show ready for consumption. I have never been more impressed with a music venue than when our precious mac and cheese was delivered safely back into our possession. I will most definitely be returning to this fine establishment, and in the process I will confidently enjoy my pre-show meal with the fam without worry or stress knowing that should I need to take the remnants of my meal with me, they will be left in good hands at the Roxy coat check until I can retrieve them. 10/10 would bang again. read more

This place sucks as a venue for music. It totally fails at what it was purpose built for, a place to enjoy watching a band. Why? Cause you can't see a thing. The floor does not appear to be sloped in any way and there are lots of beams to block views. The sight lines just 100% suck. Maybe if they didn't charge as much as a normal/professional venue it wouldn't be a big deal. But this was, by far, the worst experience I've had seeing a show, due to the venue. Set times are not accurate. Website said artist (Gesaffelstein) would play until 11 but show was done by 10:15 and they immediately kicked everyone out so I couldn't even finish my ridiculously overpriced watered down drink. Ordered a vodka cranberry and bartender put a tablespoons worth of cranberry juice and even less vodka, the. filled the cup only half way with water. Worst drink I have ever had and it was $18!!!!! They must be out of their minds! Venue was small and dirty. The original coca-cola roxy was much better. Staff was rude, unfriendly and unhelpful when I inquired why their website show times were incorrect then some lady at the front door almost didn't let me take my just then purchased redbull can out of the venue but I just walked past her because I had just paid a small fortune for it. Soon as show was over they blasted the lights and had security team inch by people pushing them out. By the time show started college campuses were giving away tickets for free so I spent way too much on mine. Sound quality in venue wasn't great either. I will not be returning. If you are gonna park there be expected to pay $20 which is basically extortion for how short shows are. Don't even bother with premium parking, the walk isn't that far to venue/battery ATL area (less than 5 min) and they charge an extra ten to have a 2 minute closer parking spot. Very disappointing evening, I had really been excited for it too. VIP tables looked like camping table sets you can get for 30 bucks, very small and super close to general admissions area. I only recommend the GA section, anything else you're being overcharged and scammed. read more

My friend and I came from out of town to see Dua Lipa and we had a great experience. The line to get in was long, but moved pretty fast and they had several lines open to make it more efficient as they gave wristbands/checked bags/scanned tickets. We got in no problem and found our seats. Lines for the restroom were never long. Our seats were great. We sat on the top level, in the middle straight ahead from the stage. The stadium seating was great, we didn't have any obstructions in our view from the seats and were able to see everything the entire show. I can't really talk about the parking since we came from out of town and had a hotel within walking distance, but when we walked down the street, we saw a really long line of cars in a standstill just as an fyi. Overall, great experience!! I would definitely return again! read more

I was sadly disappointed in the Roxy. It sounded wonderful; newly built and designed for concerts, small and intimate. Sadly, it did not deliver. We were seated on the floor (row g) but had to stand the whole time just to see. Lots and lots of movement, with people moving up and down the aisles for some unknown reason. Most importantly the sound was muddled and distorted. On a positive note, the bathrooms were abundant and staff fine. Doubt I'll be back. read more

Unless it was a show way to for to travel somewhere else to attend I personally do not plan on attending another show at this venue. Very unorganized. Got in line two and a half hours before the Harry Styles show and missed the opening act and had to stand in a super tight unorganized line in the rain for the wait. Missed the opening act and they cut it so close to Harry coming on all we could do was head straight to our seats. When this was mentioned to the staff they were very hateful towards us and super unprofessional. I enjoyed the show once it started but the chaos before hand made it really stressful. read more

Coming here for the T.I. concert was a last minute decision for me. I must say the quality of service at this entire venue was appeasing. The treatment was better than service at similar venues from other places. Usually you may get the feel that venues are mostly interested in collecting your money, but not here. They were very welcoming and did everything with a smile. Now on to the concert...it definitely topped off my visit. I am beyond elated that I attended. T.I. did an absolute amazing job performing and showcasing the talent of the Hustle Gang. It was touching to see his son perform and to see his kids come out on stage as a final honoring of Father's Day. I'll definitely look into events here upon my future visits! read more

Last night will be the first and last time I attend a show at the Roxy. I was yelled at grab by the arm by a security guard for trying to step over a seat.- I was trying to not disturb anyone in my row by just stepping over the seat in front of me and the security guard watching me ran up to me, grabbed my arm, and yelled for me to go down the aisle. After I was done using the restroom I just decided to stand next to my section and watch the rest of the show... while I was watching the security guard started yelling at the girl next to me to step back?! she wasn't blocking the aisle and yet the guard continued to get in her face multiple times whilst I stood there just waiting for her to "block the walkway" which is much bigger upstairs and barely anyone anyhow. Advice to management- stop hiring power hungry security. read more

I hadn't been to a live nation show since before covid, so I had no idea their bag policy had changed. We paid over $200 for Last Podcast On the Left tickets. We ubered to the venue because parking at the Battery is terrible and expensive. After waiting in a long ass line I was told I wouldn't be let into the show because my purse was too large and not see-through. The venue has lockers, but a very small amount so they were all taken by the time we got there. The event staff was absolutely no help in trying to accommodate us since we didn't drive and we had nowhere to put our bags, one of the event staff went so far as to suggest we hide our bags in the bushes on the property somewhere... ultimately after ubering back to midtown, driving back to the Battery and trying to find parking we missed the show completely. I understand policy but try to help people accommodate their belongings when there is no other option. read more

I have thought all day about how disappointed I was after attending the Brett Eldridge show last night. My husband and I had seats in the 200 section on row AA. We paid over $300 for these seats and I have looked forward to it for months. Unfortunately what we found were seats that had tables and chairs in front of them and the people who sat there were free to lean over and talk, drink, move the chairs about and literally block our view the entire evening. It was horrible. What I thought were going to be good seats turned out to be some of the worse I have ever experienced. These seats did not show up when we purchased our seats. It ruined what we were expecting to be a fun night out during the holidays. read more

Parking nightmare on game day. We were running late and followed directions to Orange lot. It's only for pass holders and VIP on game day. Game already started for an hour and could visibly see many spots, but they wouldn't let us park. Rest of lots even semi close we're full so after becoming progressively late and not wanting to walk miles in heels we bailed. Waste of money for tix. I should've done better research, but also less likely to go here since crazy mess on game day. We were late because we had no idea the Roxy had moved. Again, my fault, but would've seen most of the show if parking was somewhat better. read more

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. Do not go if you have any interest in actually SEEING the show, most especially any show with dancers. You won't be able to see them. The concrete floor audience floor is completely flat and not inclined at all. The stage is high, above eye level even when you are standing. You will not be able to see anyone on stage below their waist level. Worse, if it's a dance show and the dancers drop to the floor, they will completely disappear from sight. There may be some seats in the rear of the auditorium with visibility, but the likely only guaranteed way to see is from the upper levels, which are much farther away from the stage. Seating provided on the floor was narrow, hard plastic folding chairs with no padding. Parking and venue directions could benefit from much clearer signage for first-time visitors. Also be aware that if there is a sports game in the stadium in the same area, traffic and parking will be much increased. On the plus side, the staff at the Roxy were professional and friendly. The area was nice with a selection of restaurants to walk to before the show and grab a quick bite to eat. read more

BEWARE TICKETING. Excited to see Elvis Costello return to town AND get to visit the new Roxy for the first time. BUT Roxy's LiveNation ticketing chart is woefully inaccurate, a scam. You go on their website, choose your show, click on ticketing, and it takes you to see the available options. I had all price points open because, hey, I like Elvis. I chose the best balcony seats, the ones that flank the side of the stage-FRONT row balcony About ten seats deep. At least that is what the chart indicated. We get there, and NO, we are not front row balcony. Instead, "premium seats" were between us and the edge of the balcony, with 8 people sitting however they want, blocking our view. They were not even lower than our seats by more than a few inches. These seats did not show up anywhere on the chart. They might be an option somewhere else on LiveNation deep in some secretive menu, but NOWHERE on the page I was led to, nor the chart provided, even thought I asked for all price points. Plus, even if those premium seats had been empty, we still would have been too far back to even see the side of the stage where Costello's grand piano was. Seriously. . .see my picture. DO NOT buy these seats if you want to see. (Plus the front row on the floor, was not the front, again premiunum took over there, and those empty spots? Giant girder posts. . .) read more

Last night was my first time to experience the Roxy. I had tickets to see So You Think You Can Dance. The dance performance was very good, but the Roxy is not the place for a dance show. Most of the seating is on the floor looking at a very high stage. I was seated in row M which is about midway to the front and the stage was so high that even back there I could not see the lower movements. That's kind of a big deal in dancing to see the whole body's movement! The seats were church fellowship hall folding chairs, so very uncomfortable for 2 1/2 hours. It might be a good space for other events, but I hope So You Think You Can Dance never uses this venue again. : ( read more

The slow service, the disorganized staff running frantically, the overpriced drinks and overall the basic bitch ambiance omg I never thought Rock and Roll will die, but I'm at it's Christian mocked funeral. My wife and I, accompanied by some friends, attended the Government Mule show on August 6. All was going well until another "guest" was seen harassing people on the floor. You could obviously tell he was on something. Security at this point asked one of the people he was bugging if she was alright and I supposed she said she was. The security person then left the area. While this guy was still bugging people. Fast forward 20 minutes or so and he is getting close to my wife and I. She begins to head back towards our group but stops to watch something on stage. This dirtbag then goes up AND FORCE KISSES MY WIFE. She then gets in a few good licks and I follow quickly screaming and hitting this guy as best we can until 2 Security guys take him outside. So here we are in the lobby. Cops called. Want to have this jerk arrested and taken away. Declined. There has to be another witness (maybe security?) or a video because I as a husband don't count. Want to speak with management. Declined. They are obviously too important to care about what happens in their venue. In summary: the building is nice. Sound-good. Bar staff-agreeable. Security-Not proactive or observant in the least. Management-Who knows. They can't be bothered when a paying guest is assaulted on the property. We have been to over 100 shows in this town. We even sit on the board of a charity that throws a three day camp/music festival in north Georgia. We know what happens at shows, and we know how to control the scene so stuff like this does not happen. The Roxy should take a lesson from the Tabernacle in how to watch a crowd. And yes, we are seeking legal counsel. read more

The acoustics were great. I purchased tickets to see falling in reverse who went on second on the show I purchased tickets for. On the Roxy website the doors opened at 630. Show starts at730. From their website. Well that was a fucking lie. We got their at 730 the 3rd band came on at 815. Fucking slipknot doesn't take 45 mins to come on stage you fucking pussies. I've seen them twice. They take about 20mins and papa roach (nickel back) took 45 mins to get their stage ready. haha fucking pussies. None the less. The website said the show started at 730. Like seeing a concert in a Sterile barn like atmosphere this place is for you. went to a sold-out concert it was 70° outside and incredibly hot inside.Buying the beer was terrible people behind the counter didn't seem to care and were in no hurry. We went there for NCT concert and we were amazed how great the area is along with the other venues around. The concert venue however was small for the particular concert as far as I am concern. The location was fantastic, the food and drinks they offer were awesome and the crew for the concert were best in making sure everyone is safe... there were some girls fainting inside the concert. All in all our experience was great with our hotel being just a walking distance from it. We will definitely go back if there's another concert on the area. read more

So first off, this place is way out of the way. I think the only reason bands actually come here is because the Roxy pays them more to play there. The Roxy is doing this to generate business and get people into the Battery, or whatever the little Braves village is called...so, I get it. That being said, they rip you every chance they get. Parking is ridiculously expensive at $20-$30. To compare that, the Tabernacle charges about $10-$15 to park. Inside the venue is what really grinds my gears. Why can't a venue make shorter people happy? I'm 5'10", so slightly above the average male height in the USA. I was standing in the middle of the floor and could only see the heads of the people on stage. The floor does not decline like the Tabernacle's does. I almost felt like it inclined somehow. If you want to pay the ridiculous price for the front row seats upstairs, that's your best bet. Otherwise, this place gets two very big thumbs down from me. It's a fine example of what people have always done in Atlanta: take something that could potentially be great, and apply poor planning that makes people mad. I haven't even been to a Braves game yet up there, but after this experience, I can't see why I would. read more

Very mismanaged. We went to see NCT 127. They were sending people with assigned seats to the general audience line. They opened the doors late which delayed the show. Then their AC wasn't working well so it got extremely HOT. One woman in general audience passed out. The band looked horrified but kept performing as they dragged the woman out. The venue itself is pretty and the sound is great...but, and this is a big one....THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING! We went to the Harry Styles concert last night, had assigned seats, so we didn't have to worry about all the people fighting for a spot on the floor. There were no instructions on where to go or how admission would work. NONE! Come to find out that they were lining people up in the ballpark to enter...we assumed this was for general admission, but we stopped to ask a security guard anyway. The guard told us just to stand right where he was and that we would all be let in after the GA attendees. That was at 7:30, the concert started at 8. At 8:20, we are still outside (it's been raining off and on), the opening band has come one, and there are still GA attendees entertaining the theater. 8:30, a group of people behind us move to another area to try to get inside....we asked the security guard, and they said they would be letting us in soon. We waited for over an hour to get in...missed the opening band all together. Then, you get inside, and in order to get upstairs, we have to stand in another line. There were no signs telling us how to get upstairs, we didn't know what door to go in at all. There was absolutely no crowd control, none. People were fainting and being pulled out of the crowd. I saw about 10 security guards working a mob of a thousand plus teenagers. It was a total cluster, and someone seriously needs to get fired. If I were the parent of the girl that was pulled out of the crowd having a seizure, I would sue. read more

I've been to this venue a couple of times to say Latino Artists. My language, & appearance had a never been a problem here before, until yesterday 12-12-17. I was with a group of four, & we were near the stage on the right side. As we started to get excited for Kelly Clarkson to appear we were talking amongst ourselves in Spanish. A woman told us to shut up because we were interrupting the show, mind you, it was still an opening act. It's a CONCERT people should be allowed to talk amongst themselves. However this was a predominately white event, & I am pretty sure we were the only Latinos. So the woman told the security that we were INTERRUPTING her. & I told the security that we were merely talking in Spanish amongst ourselves. It was left alone. Later two women made their way to the front and while everyone around was upset, my group allowed them to stay, & told them it was okay with us. The security was called again. & they removed my group of 4. They told us that we aren't allowed to "cut in front of people," HOWEVER the two WHITE women that made their way to the front were allowed to stay... we have been there for more than an hour. I've never experienced such discrimination because of my language. I can't believe they removed us because we were speaking Spanish. The security didn't even want to hear us, they threatened to kick us out, even when we were being compliant. This venue's staff apparently stand with this discrimination. & if you are a minority, I urge you not to support this venue. read more

Completely disorganized with apparently no idea of how to handle a crowd for a sold out concert. Doors opened an hour ago and there are still masses of people standing outside with no sign of anyone who works here to organize all of the people who are waiting to get in. There's not even a line, just a complete mess. I've been to a good amount of concerts all of which had far larger numbers of people in attendance and I have never seen anything this horrendous. This venue really needs to take a good hard look at themselves and fix a lot of things or I would strongly recommend never attending an event here. read more
