The green noodle-shaped topping is actually made from a kind of bean paste - not much matcha taste, but had a strong bean flavour instead. And again, it was too sweet to my liking. Taro Tart - This one was good. Taro-flavoured cream on top, with taro paste underneath, then a layer of custard with mochi at the bottom. Had a rich taro flavour. The center was basically plain sponge cake with no real pistachio or almond flavor. The first bite was overwhelming sugar -- just sweetness, with no depth or balance. The outside is covered with pistachios and nuts, but that alone doesn't make it a pistachio-almond cake. Honestly, there was nothing unique about it. It wasn't better than a basic grocery store cake that might cost $12. For a place that positions itself as a premium cake shop, this was very underwhelming. I wouldn't recommend it.
