Today, my very clean cab arrived ten minutes early and we arrived at my destination five minutes early. I was quoted $140 and charged $140. The driver was able to sense I wasn't conversational so I was able to enjoy the ride in peace and quiet. Very nice experience overall. No gimmicks, no runaround. I tried to fasten the seat belt but it didn't click in place. This is a safety hazard. Surely there are laws against this. Imagine what might happen to the passenger if the driver got into an accident? In spite of all this, I was still generous enough to give the driver a 35% tip, and he didn't even have the courtesy to say thank you. After I got out, I felt so nauseated from the cigarette smoke, I almost vomited. Unfortunate if true, but unacceptable to not have a live person to talk to or answer phones when driver fails to show. No other transportation companies could get there on short notice.
