We opted to have the vegan donair perogies and vegan cabbage rolls, all of which were filling and delicious. We had nice conversations with Dave Kolody, the owner who prepared everything for us. The family run restaurant is mainly take out - There are a handful of seats by the counter overlooking the front window, should you wish to eat inside. Hopefully, more vegan options will be made in the future. We felt well taken care of by Dave.

Locals say this is the best ice cream in the area…read more It is in a little store next to some lobster boats. This is a quaint little shopping area. There are a lot of options for souvenirs. The owner is very nice as are all of the employees. The ice cream was very smooth and creamy. It had chunks of fruit and was loaded with flavor. They make their own waffle cones right in the shop. Tours stop here when in the area. The guides suggested that lunch digests better with ice cream. This was a great stop to look at the covered bridges.
