I have full natural eyebrows, but once the makeup era boomed around 2013/2014, I became determined to learn a perfect bold eyebrow. I would cut and shape the way I want in order to apply eyebrow gel almost on a daily basis. I practiced my eyebrow routine in 2014 during the good ol makeup day era and it was fun once they started to look "on fleek" lol. I had always received compliments on my eyebrows and I used to enjoy the practice and process of eyebrow makeup, but after so many years I began to wish I woke up with them and they would be done. Once I earned a little extra money, I started on my research. I reviewed places but had my eye on Goddess Permanent Makeup and Morgan's name. The before and after pictures were beautiful works of art, and I was set on making an appointment. My consultation was over the phone. You can go in person for consultation, but I knew judging from her before and after pics I would be just fine. The day came of my appointment, and I immediately was greeted with a smile by Morgan at the front desk. I signed some paperwork as you would with any procedure, and I was on my way to waking up with eyebrows. i recommend to bring and show a few or multiple picture examples of your desired outcome along with any specific details. she will measure everything with her nifty geometry ruler and do a non permanent "rough draft" sketch and hand you a mirror to make sure that is what you want. I don't know if there is a difference in eyebrow situations that may or may not make the appointment longer or shorter, that would be a question in your consultation. she gave me a 2 hour window on the consultation. From greeting her and filling out the paper work I was done just under 2 hours. I'm not the expert obviously, but I found her and reviewed her work on Yelp and that was enough for me to go for it and write my own experience. I rather not go into my after care process because I'm not sure how different or if it would be different depending on each individual's eyebrow situation. ***LET ME TELL YOU*** what I can say is Morgan is such a good vibe to talk to. She is one of those people that can talk about anything. But if you prefer to bring your headphones and listen to your own music n space out, you can do that too. Ironically, the two other tattoo places were the ones who told me "your call is very important to us" on their voicemail recordings. Beautiful. So I went down, and less than a week later, my eyebrows are done. This mother-daughter duo is absolutely amazing. They always ask for your opinion, all the while providing their personal suggestions. So if you're a slight pushover like me, you have many chances to speak up and make any changes. Both of them are down to earth and friendly, yet maintain professionalism & cleanness. Kira is such a nice person to work with, if you feel like she missed a tiny spot, she happily traces over it until you're satisfied. They don't get annoyed or defensive, unlike many people tend to be when you question them or their work. I'm quite glad I went with them, I was super skeptical and nervous before the procedure, but they move at the pace you are comfortable with. Just keep in mind that cosmetic tattoos are all technically semi-permanent. Like regular tattoos, they require touchups and some maintenance. I'm not sure why they are deemed as pricey on here, because if you do your research, they're at the lower end of the scale for permanent cosmetics. Yes, it costs extra for touchups, but the initial + touchup still doesn't exceed the lowest average price to get them done. Jordan was so accommodating and knowledgeable about brows! She made my mom feel comfortable and soon they set a date for the first microblade appointment. My mom doesn't speak any English, but Jordan was able to make things work between the 2 of them. My mom loved the end result. They looks very natural and the color looks great on my moms skin. I came in for my own microblade appointment shortly afterwards. My brows were uneven (when I smile one side is higher than the other) and they hair doesn't grow in the tail. Jordan took my concerns and made excellent suggestions on the shape, placement and color. The consultation was really relaxing. I love my brows and am extremely happy with the end result.
