Pros: - Nice lady - Clean place - Free reserved parking spot Cons: - First off, be prepared to deal with nasty fake Beverly Hills blondes in the parking lot, acting like they own the lot. 'nuf said. - Showed up on time but sat there waiting for 10mins while Isabel and the previous client kept talking. Awkward. - I wanted to relax... but could couldn't really with the constant chattering... - I apparently got a "shortened" and most basic treatment because I used a Groupon, WTH?!! - I didn't get a choice of peel, which is what was advertised because she is "not making any money on Groupon".... so it was just the most basic of peel. Very disappointed. - I've had amazing microdermabrasion with extractions. I wasn't feeling too happy with the barely any extraction done and tried to ask nicely why but was waived off as "I didn't need much". Not true as I found still clogged pores when I checked later that evening. I saw Isabelle in August 2016 for an eyebrow tattoo. I originally found her on Groupon and was able to schedule my appointment within days. She sent me a text a day before my appointment to confirm it and made sure I had the address and told me where to park. She has one parking spot available with her sign on it. I did run a few minutes late to the appointment but I made sure I texted her to let her know. I wanted the micro-blading eyebrow tattoo which was not included in the Groupon ad. I opted in and bought it from her that day then I returned the Groupon. I liked the color mix and the ambiance of the store. Isabelle schedules one client at a time which makes it 10 times better. We started in a large room that had a chair and a mirror. There she measured my brows and drew the outside lines I was really worried about the process as this was my first tattoo. I do have a scar and empty gaps in my brows so this was supposed to fix it. Isabelle assured me that it would look better and that it wouldn't hurt. She spend about 1.5 hours drawing and lining them up. We then went to another room that has a bed and the permanent makeup colors. I picked the espresso which is a darker shade as they do fade. She numbed the area before starting and waited a bit until it got numbed before starting with the blade. The whole process took about 4 hours. I was comfortable the entire time I was at her store. She was able to hide the scar and filled in all the empty gaps. Wow. Loved the final look for sure. The price included one touch up 4-6weeks after which give the skin enough time to heal. I did have a harder time scheduling my touch up as she was getting really booked up. I was able to schedule it via text in September. She spent the same amount of time on my touch up. She asked if I wanted to change anything and how I felt about my tattoo. I did want to change some things and again was very happy with the overall process and her customer service skills. I went back again for a touch up with my mother today. Isabelle was just awesome. Easy to talk to and made us feel welcome the entire time. My mom was very happy with her brows and how Isabelle was very sanitary. I went in with my baby and she even offered him toys and played peek a poo with him. Awww. I just love this woman. I have to say I'm not a fan of driving from Glendale to Beverly Hills area during the day time but my mom loves how her eyebrows turned out and now its time for a touch up two years later and she does not want to go to anyone else. Isabelle was very patient and nice working with someone who has never done this before and was completely anxious! She took the time to explain how she will do the process and changed the shape during the first stage making sure when she started it was what my mother would like. she had no problem outlining multiple times and was very helpful in explaining what shapes would match her face. During the process she was very gentle and took her time, and what my mom appreciate the most is that her eyebrows look very natural and not like the typical look every single person has. The color that was recommended and done was done to match her face, hair color, everything. I am just impressed by her work and is worth that drive I think (well for me its a ways out with LA traffic). I believe there is limited parking spaces but we parked on the street (I believe it was metered). Since I had to wait for the entire time (2-3 hours) I drove down to Starbucks a block or two away, got some work done, until the time she said she would be done. Permanent makeup has always intrigued me. Definitely nerve racking since getting your face yattted up seems iffy. Nonetheless, I grew a pair and scheduled a time to see Isabelle. She was sweet and let me freak out/obsess before giving the green light on the shape of my new eyebrows. The salon was very chic and cute. I'd say that it gives off a boutique vibe. It is in Beverly Hills, so ritzy area and the price point suits its locale. As far as finding the place, it isn't too noticeable so make sure you carve out some time for a few extra turns. I went to Isabelle a few years ago - and I still think very fondly of the entire experience. I have a scar on one eyebrow and was extremely nervous about getting microblading in any way that changed my appearance drastically. Isabelle offered a suggestion to go above the scar, and actually create a lifting appearance. Throughout the process, my skin was very sensitive to the process because I've never been one to do a lot to it (no Botox, fillers, peels, etc.) - virgin skin. My daughter took me here to get my eyebrows done after she had a good experience with Isabelle. We walked into the place and she recognized my daughter right away. She was very pleasant to work with and very personable. The shop is welcoming and very private. We brought my youngest grandson and we had no problem keeping him entertained as she had toys for him to play with. She even offered him snacks. The procedure was super easy. She She numbed the area where she was going to put the eyebrow tattoo. Then waited for a while before she started working on it so that the numbing agent will take affect. I contacted this business because i first saw them on groupon and looked on yelp. I was impressed by the 5 star reviews. I tried to contact her but she only responded to me once. I wanted to do a couple Of services and she doesnt seem interested at all. I had to reply to her twice or three times but didnt get a response back. I am obviously excited, very interested and wanting to try the services she is offering. If you are gonna spend money on advertising and want to attract new clients, i guess u have to be prepared and know how to handle the inquiries. It hurts a business when you dont even live up to your promises or even the reviews here that seems to be suspicious. I do not appreciate it when businesses reward yelpers to post reviews or bribe them with some sort of discount or gift cards. If you would do that, at least be true to what the people are saying on here cause it is just so deceiving. In this day and age, your clients and the people they refer are your best PR team. If they leave your office happy and satisfied, u get free promotional advertisement, if not, u seriously just wasted your marketing investment and tarnish your branding and reputation. Wow, after my friend did her eyebrows with Isabelle, I had to get my done. I had to get a reconstruction done to my eyebrows, because another styles in Chicago was not able to do them right. Today, i accompanied my mom and aunt, who both live 3+ hours away to get their eyebrows microbladed. After driving all that way and the lady being 30 min late to start their scheduled appointments, they were sent away after being told that they were 1) both too dark to receive the service 2) the woman was losing money by even accepting their groupons. Now, I know they did some research before choosing this location. This salon's IG profile showcased people of color and there wasn't any information about excluding darker skin tones on their website. So the fact that the woman today tossed them out of her shop exclaiming that they were too dark to receive this service is beyond appalling! Furthermore making them feel bad by telling them that she usually charges $600 and that she is losing money accepting the groupon is just downright tacky! A business chooses to run a groupon special in order to drum up more business. I had microblading done a few months ago myself and learned during my research that more experienced salons typically charge $600-$800 while other growing salons charge $400-$500. Anyone charging under $400 or using Groupon is typically someone who is either very new at this technique or doesn't have a big book of business and is trying to grow. Either way, it should never be on the consumer to feel bad for purchasing a discounted service that was OFFEREDBYTHEBUSINESS I can accept that this woman wasn't experienced enough to work on darker skin tones and actually appreciate that she recognized her shortcoming, but there's a more PC way to say that rather than telling someone their skin is too dark! As a man, my eyebrows are very important in that they stay masculine. As we get older our eye area changes and becomes a little more hollow looking. I hate it (we ALL hate it) and it looks very bad if your eyebrows end up too far below the newly prominent brow bone. You get a "lift" so to speak if you can manage to get them a little higher. That can be accomplished by plucking out any hairs too close to the eye and then filling in above the brow bone so you don't lose thickness. But that takes a lot of time. And more often than not, it turns out uneven. And on a guy, I came to get a little paranoid. I have never heard of microblading till another male friend had it done. He went to Isabelle Franco. His results were amazing! So I went, nervously, to have it done, as well. Her place is very inviting and private. There is a beautiful, yet uncommon pink and silver theme in there. She was very kind and looked so amazing herself, I relaxed a little. It was only she and I both times and she was very serious about my happiness with her work. I showed her pictures of my preference, then she measured my eye area and drew on where my brows really should be. She suggested I not do that "start filling in at half way mark" thing we see on Instagram but to actually start more from the inner corners (the beginning out the brows). I was hesitant because this was permanent! So she re-drew them as she felt they should be and I was *amazed.* I told her to go ahead "lets do this". She did and I look great. No one can tell, as it is hair by hair procedure and it matched my own color perfectly. Not one has ever said a single thing to me about my eyebrows. That's a must for a guy. I went back for the touch-up and have been pleased ever since. Whenever I need this again, I will definitely go back to Isabelle Franco. read more

I found a 24k Gold Facial with Microdermabrasion here through Groupon. First off, let me say that many other facial or massage parlors hear the word "Groupon" and treat me as a less-valued customer, so I was half expecting that here too. I was pleasantly surprised that Isabelle not only pampered me like a queen, but she was also very professional in her skin care advice. She didn't push me to buy any products or oversell her services. Just very straightforward recommendations. I was 10 minutes late because of traffic, but she was very nice about it and honored the full hour. Right off the bat I felt she was personable and that she valued my business. The facial was fantastic! Non-stop care on her end for the duration of the hour. When my face was soaking in the mask's essence, she massaged my shoulders, hands and feet. Then she was immediately back to my face when it needed some TLC. It was an all-star treatment! What I love also is that she didn't keep chatting me up. (I hate it when the esthetician won't stop talking about her previous clients.) Isabelle just let me relax and really enjoy my time. My face was as smooth as a baby's butt by the time I left! It wasn't overly slobbered with sunscreen or sticky with masks that was left on my neck. All-in-all a great experience. The place was extremely cute as well. Small and cozy. I just walked out of here because it was such an uncomfortable situation. I was going to buy a MICROBLADING groupon for this place yesterday but I called to see when I could get in for an appointment and Ms Franco said to just pay her directly instead of buying the groupon so we set an appointment for today. Frankly, I was surprised to get in so quickly. When I got here, there was a homeless guy sleeping outside her door. She was late and said she had no time to show me pictures of eyebrows or consult on a look that would be good for me to get. I've never had this done before so I was surprised that someone about to tattoo my face wouldn't even take the time to consult. I then felt very rushed through the contract/ paperwork filling out that was many pages long and very confusing. I started to take screenshots of the pages to read more closely later- some of them talked about after care and what to expect. Ms Franco got very agitated that I was taking pictures. I asked for a copy of the contract I was signing and she refused. I've never NOT gotten a copy of any legal contract I've signed. I started to get very anxious and suspicious why she was not allowing me to have the information so I left. She is definitely not someone I would recommend going to for anything. Very uncomfortable situation. Oh my goodness! Lol! Good story, Ms Franco. I literally ran out of your business because you made me so uncomfortable. You did not "refuse service" to me nor did you ever talk to me about ANYTHING having to do with my eyebrows. And for the record, I have consulted with an attorney about your so-called contract and he said it is highly improper that I was refused a copy of the contract or any post-care information I was provided with. Was I supposed to memorize everything? I was someone new to the procedure that you treated improperly. Instead of being a responsible business owner and offering to make it right, you have instead created a worse situation with your completely malicious made up story. Refused service? Lol that's rich. I purchased a Groupon and made an appointment over the phone. I was there on time, but couldn't find the parking area she told me about over the phone, so I text her telling her I was going to be 10 min late because I was looking for parking. I show up (10 min late, my fault), and she tells me she doesn't have time to take me anymore because she has another appointment right after mine (fair). She also tells me I never confirmed my appointment, and that I should've confirmed through a text message I received, but I never received any text or any sort of notification about confirming an appointment. Which then made me believe she took me off her schedule completely (not fair to me, I should've been notified that I needed to confirm or appointment would be given to someone else). She takes down my info, and tells me she'll call me to reschedule. A week went by, and no call. I finally start to call again, and I get voicemail almost every day. Almost 3 weeks after my original appointment, I finally get her on the phone and she proceeds to tell me that she doesn't have anything until January and that I have to pay a $50 fee for cancellation from my original appointment, because I didn't make it. I told her I was there, but she said she couldn't take me because A) I was 10 min late, and B) I didn't confirm the appointment. I told her to just forget it, and I contacted Groupon for a refund. I had a great experience getting brows microbladed here! I read a lot online about shady vendors and shoddy work so I was happy to see a lot of good reviews on this place. I bought the groupon (great deal) and came with a few pics of what I wanted. I was a little nervous to see if it would work for me -- my online research made it clear that people with dark skin could have issues with microblading. The pigment won't stick and could disappear in a few months. I was actually happy to see she was aware of this issue and would let clients know if she thought it wouldn't work. Luckily it worked out just fine. I didn't do my brows the morning of (because I thought it wouldn't be recommended) but realized in hindsight I should have so she could tell how I liked them done. She was patient and drew a few of the styles I liked on so I could make a decision. Once I picked one it was relatively easy, and not too painful. I had a couple of problem spots where I had some scarring from a previous eyebrow ring but she made sure to work on it until it was even. I am writing this review to inform other black women with brown skin that Isabelle Franco is not the clinic for you if you are looking to get your eyebrows microbladed. I booked an appointment which I was very excited for, but decided to let her know that I am a black after reading a couple other reviews from black women who were turned away. She asked me to send her a pic, which I did. When she saw my skin tone she got back to me to say that the micropigmentation she uses won't take on my skin. Needless to say I was super disappointed, but I did appreciate her letting me know before I wasted more time coming in for the appointment. If you have brown skin, just do your research to find one of the many other skin care clinics in LA that offer microblading to people with darker skin. I just booked an appointment with another skin care clinic who told me that they have no issues doing eyebrow microblading on my skin. read more

I made an appointment and she didn't show up. This is very unprofessional and this is the 2nd time this has occurred. I believe she doesnt want to honor the groupon I purchased. Im super disappointed because I drove 62 miles one way and waited in 2 hour traffic. read more
