He offered practical solutions like chicken wire and expanding spray foam (typically used for insulation). He asked me if neighbors were setting out poison because he saw several dead critters in my crawl space. It turns out, a week later I did see a poison trap set up a few houses away from me. His down to earth approach on problem solving resonated with me. There's no black and white answer when you have rodents. Ryan was very patient and made sure I understood all of the options. Melting/bubbling sheathing around wire, from an electrician that didn't tighten the screw on the panel bar (which is required as part of their work). Resistance- heating wire- melting plastic. Eventually this would have resulted in serious consequences that I never would have caught until it was too late. Based on my experience the state of the trades out there doing these "smaller" jobs is nose diving in quality. Hiring Terry, or someone just as good, is a necessity if you live on the peninsula.
