To say, this company is professional and thought I would be an understatement. Our inspector, Allen, spent just around three hours, scouring every inch of our home from the roof, to the gutters, the foundation, electrical, the garage, the crawlspace, and literally every inch of this house was covered. He even stuck around to help me fix the garage door which had slid off the track. A little backstory; we're currently living in my mother-in-law's house and need to decide on whether we want to buy this home or purchase a new home. My mother-in-law's house is very old and has not been as well-maintained. We want to make sure her home would be a proper investment. Allen gave us a thorough explanation of everything that the home needs. He also provided a very detailed list of what fixes the house needs, but luckily nothing major was found. If you need an inspection, Allen is the professional you need. First of all, he responds. Whether it be for scheduling, a follow up, or a question regarding a report, you can bet that he'll answer or call you back in a timely manner. I wish all my Vendors were this responsive! Second, as a property manager, his reports are just...perfect. Literally. The reports are extremely thorough, with photos of EVERYTHING and then some, and have detailed explanations that are simplified enough for us non-experts to understand. They are also password protected so no need to worry about confidential information floating around in emails. Third, Allen genuinely cares about his work and the needs of his clients and it really shows. Currently, I'm based in San Francisco but manage a commercial property in the local area. The roof of the building was just replaced but the Landlords had some reservations about it being done correctly. Upon their request, I hired Allen to do an inspection. Due to some transportation complications on my part, I was unable to meet him for the roof inspection but I did speak to him soon after. Although a report had not been generated yet, he explained the roof condition and asked what my situation was. When I explained the situation, he was very honest and told me that he didn't think the roof was done correctly. Now, Allen could've just saved himself the trouble by telling me to wait for the report and then called the job complete. He didn't need to hear my situation or give his advice but he did. And I will forever be thankful. The roof was not done correctly and Allen's thorough inspection, detailed explanation, and sound advice has allowed me to take the best course of action in regards to remedying the situation. And to top it all off, the quote for the inspection was more than reasonable for the work he did. With this quality of work, I would expect it to cost more. I've seen a lot of reports in my time and this is easily one of the best reports I've seen in terms of quality and detail. If he did inspections outside the local area too, I would hire him in a heartbeat. Understandably, he doesn't so he'll be on my referral list for those in the local area. Inspector Pro definitely deserves 5 stars out of 5. I would give more if I could. read more

We moved into our new build home two months ago and chose Inspection Pro to do the inspection largely based on the great reviews, since we are new to the area. I'm so glad we chose them! Allen was professional, thorough and explained all of his findings and recommendations to us at the end of the inspection. He emailed me the invoice and a very well organized, detailed inspection report (which included photos indicating the issues) the next day, which made payment a breeze. I will use the info in the report when I I contact the builder. Allen (Inspection Pro) is fantastic and truly went above and beyond for our home inspection. He thoroughly inspected difficult places like the roof, attic, and crawl space. We had told him that we were first-time homebuyers interested in energy efficiency and preventive maintenance, so he took the time to walk us through the property after the inspection, showing us thermal scans of the ceiling and walls and giving us maintenance and upkeep tips. All together, he spent 5 hours at the property! Afterwards, he wrote a 44-page report (with an additional 30-page summary) with clear photos annotated with arrows and circles. He also called us to talk us through the report and see if we had any questions, and said we could call him any time for additional guidance or recommendations. The level of service Allen offered us was simply outstanding. We ended up not buying the house because of what was revealed in the inspections (nothing horrible, but enough to really challenge our budget). My husband and I hired Inspection Pro twice and were extremely satisfied with their inspections. The first time was part of the home inspection with a house we are currently in escrow on. Allen showed up on time, was wearing a mask (very important with COVID-19 concerns right now) and spent time reviewing his findings with the realtor and myself afterwards. He explained the main safety issues, maintenance suggestions and then showed us the main issues throughout the house. He was patient and clearly knowledgeable in home inspections. Within a day he e-mailed us the home inspection report. It was sent to us in a timely manner and contained clear photos and detailed explanations of all the issues he had reviewed with us during the in-person inspection. Part of the home purchase involved the builder's warranty covering the major repairs that Allen's report had pointed out. I was concerned about the repairs being done properly, so I asked my realtor if we could hire Allen again to confirm the repairs had been done. With only about a 48-hour notice, he was able to fit this second inspection into his schedule and conducted a follow-up inspection of the home. He provided photos confirming the repairs had been completed and spent time going over his findings over the phone with me.
