Ryan explained everything in great detail and educated me on things like where rodents could get into the house, what they like to eat, the difference between mice and rats (who knew rats were so intelligent), different kinds of traps, etc. We walked around the house and identified spots that should be sealed up. He offered practical solutions like chicken wire and expanding spray foam (typically used for insulation). He asked me if neighbors were setting out poison because he saw several dead critters in my crawl space. It turns out, a week later I did see a poison trap set up a few houses away from me. His down to earth approach on problem solving resonated with me. There's no black and white answer when you have rodents. Ryan was very patient and made sure I understood all of the options. It's been a month since he came out. Since then, I caught one mouse, sealed up the obvious spots around the house, and haven't seen any new activity. If the rodents do come back, I feel much more prepared to deal with it the next time around. If I can't, I won't hesitate to call Ryan again.

I emailed several inspectors asking for bids; Trevor was very prompt in his response to my request, and his quote was very competitive. Best of all, he worked with my schedule and was able to come out within three days (some of the appointment dates from other inspection services were as much as 3 weeks away). On the day of the inspection, he showed up exactly on time, then spent about 10 minutes explaining the process to me. He then began the inspection, which included electrical outlets, appliances, structural features of the house and retaining walls, and even climbing up under the house to look for dry rot and examine the insulation. He was at it for about 2 hours, and after he finished, he sat down with me for another 20 minutes and went over everything he had noted, and also took time to answer my questions. As promised, about 48 hours after the inspection, Trevor provided a thorough 35-page report that included multiple photos and detailed notes. It is excellent, and even though the report identifies a few things that need repair, I believe it will help me when it comes to selling the house. It actually helps me feel confident about selling, because I now know exactly what the condition of my house is and that I'm not misrepresenting anything. In short, Trevor was extremely professional and his pricing is very competitive. He was friendly and easy to work with. Their plumber was unable to complete the installation in my master, but while attempting the job he scratched my countertop and damaged the new faucets. Even though they couldn't get the work done, the owner, Greg, still charged me $350 per faucet because it was "time spent." No compensation made for my scratched countertop nor damaged new faucets. When I pointed out the damage--right there on the spot--the plumber admitted he had to use a wrench that slipped and scraped the countertop. I even showed Greg photos proving the scratches weren't there before, but he kept insisting the damage was pre-existing. Instead of taking responsibility for damaging the brand-new faucets, the owner dismissed them as "cheap" and said they were "$30", which was both inaccurate and insulting. To make matters worse, they didn't even reinstall my old faucets, leaving me with a non-functional sink. I had to hire another plumber, who finished the job without any issues. I will add that the installation of the new faucets and angle stops in my guest bathroom and powder room were fine. I'm extremely disappointed and will never hire them again. I empathize with the difficulty of the faucets install in my master and just wanted them to acknowledge their error in damaging my countertop and new faucets, but instead, I received rude and insulting messages from owner. This company is careless, overcharges, and takes no responsibility for their mistakes.

Purchased a home in the area and had premium Inspection completed on 7/26. We felt initial…read moreinspection was professional and thorough in hindsight felt a lot was missed. Since we took possession on 8/12. Since we have discovered the following that should have been highlighted in the report. 1. A plumbing leak in crawlspace under the lavatory caused by an improperly used saddle Tap valve Under the house. 2. Broken sewer line for same lavatory underneath the house. Both theses items where within 5 feet of the crawl space entrance and clearly visible to the plumber we had come out and investigate a water leak issue we suspected. The cost to fix was approx 3K. 3. Dry rot to a structural 6x6 deck post that needs to be replaced at a cost of $1600. This is disappointing as both of these issues should have been highlighted in the inspection and it makes me concerned that there may be more issues that arise as I feel the inspection was not done as thoroughly as it could. I understand a home inspection will not cover everything but in the above cases these issues should have clearly been caught.
