LONG ISLAND MAKES KOMBUCHA GUYS LI is getting healthier! Yay!! About time..Filled with Italian pizzerias on every block, rich restaurants, seafood, diners and bakeries (which I love obv!!) LI welcomes Coastal Craft Kombucha to rescue our gut flora! LOL Discovered their delicious, bubbly kombucha during a YEE at Organic Corner. You got me hooked Drew (LI's Amazing CM)!! The owner Rachel is so helpful! Called on their off day by mistake but she said she would happily fill my growlers! 1) Fresh Greens - Crisp apple grounds fresh cucumber. Invigorating. My fav 2) Pineapple Hibiscus - Slightly sweet and perff, So sad they're removing this flavor :( 3) Hawaiian Fire - pop of Cayenne elevates pineapple and wakes you up Up UP!! 4) Lemon Earl Grey - Pleasant, tea forward 5) Ginger - classic, spicy! 6) Yerba Grapefruit - Minty with lemongrass and peppermint, wish it was more grapefruity! 7) Jasmine - Light, calming lavender They make seasonals like Kaboooooocha (squash, carrot, orange) and even a cold brew coffee kombucha called Red Eye Ricky! How cool!! Hard to spot on Lawson Blvd, but trust the Yelp location, you'll see a small sign next to a big garage!! Right down the block South of Whistle Stop! CLOSED TU/TH/FR. Check Hours, FB page has more info!! So excited for the owners, Daryn and Rachel, this place is truly ONE OF A KIND on LI, love the COOL SHOREBIRD LOGO, so evocative of Oceanside and the beach! Check 'em out, Coastal Craft is crankin' out some DELICIOUS stuff :) Recommended: Fresh Greens, Red Eye Ricky

I love a good chalkboard menu! These taps are super cute too.

I am SO HAPPY this place exists! Their kombucha is far superior to the brands you'll find at Whole Foods and the flavors are exponentially more creative. The tasting room is cute, but I would love to see some more seating options. Fair warning: parking is a nightmare (very industrial area), but totally worth it if you need your booch fix. Definitely check this place out!

Delicious Kombucha brewed locally by long time locals. I loved the Hawaii fire and lemon earl grey. If you haven't tried kombucha yet I highly suggest taking your first sip here. Rachel is very friendly and will let you sample everything!

It was pure luck that I decided to check out Old Westbury Gardens' Spring Market today. Being a little apprehensive as I've tried other Kombuchas in the past, Rachel convinced me otherwise w free samples. Who am I to turn down anything FREE?? PPL! It's so delicious!!! Love the packaging also! Thank you, Rachel, on your expertise!

It was packed inside but it was spacious and still comfortable. However, it was a beautiful day outside so we decided to sit in the beer garden which has a ton of chairs, picnic tables, etc. They also had two food trucks on site (we got the pizza, which was delicious). While the outdoor bar isn't open for the season just yet, the indoor bar was fast when it came to service - even on a packed day. We never waited for a beer and they have tons of tap & go payment portals which make checking out easier. The guava gose was perfect on a beautiful day. Fruity yet tangy and easy to drink. They also sell soft drinks if you're sober or you had one too many beers. Welcoming environment. Great to visit even if you're not going to the farm.

The place is beautifully laid out with trendy furnishings, offering both comfort with an air of quaintness while being both modern and hip. The tables and chairs offer seating for walk-ins and cozy couches offer even greater comfort for folks eager to surf their laptops. The staff is exceptionally doting and one of the two passionate owners is on site, happy to give tours of this healthy probiotic concoction and its entire process. Kombucha has been a trend for a few years but you haven't experienced a taste or smoothness such as this as it comes fresh out of a keg as opposed to a store bought bottle which could be sitting in a refrigerator for weeks and continuing its fermentation process, rendering a rather bitter vinegary taste....but I promise you, you won't get that here! It's light, refreshing and tasty, offering endless healthy benefits...from helping with digestion by promoting growth of healthy gut with flora which keeps a healthy PH level...to helping establishing a clearer mind and detoxifying your liver as well as supplying glucosamine to joints!! You can purchase a fresh little palette of 4 glasses of a mixture of flavors or you can get fresh bottles filled from 16 ounces to keg sizes. The staff is absolutely charming and just so accommodating from offering you healthy samples and willing to answer any questions. They are only open to the public for tap service and tours on Saturdays from 10-4. If you are looking to heal naturally from gastric issues, heartburn/acid reflux or just want a natural way to get probiotics, take a Saturday ride to SONO - you will not only educate yourself on this old ancient remedy but you will be truly surprised! No more synergy for me, I'm going fresh and weekly!

The entire biz looks great (front/store, the studio itself, the locker room in back).  It's clean and inviting and you can tell the entire staff cares about the place. I love that the class doesn't face the mirrors for class (the absolute worst) and every few feet there's the 'STUFF' bucket (napkins, tissues, cleaning solution for your mat) which is such a great 'cherry on top' that I never saw in other yoga studios I've been to. Pricing is solid (I was originally lured here through a deal over at Groupon). To date I've bounced between four different classes/levels/instructors.  Each class was unique and challenging and every teacher has been welcoming, supportive and a total pro. The studio is right by a busy intersection - metered parking on the street (I believe an hour max) and a municipal lot behind the studio (metered till 6pm, I think) for more than one hour. Even if I'm officially long in the tooth and nowadays Child's Pose and Shavasana are more my jam instead of Bhairavasana or Eka Hasta Vrksasanav - I'm just glad to have found a cool place to get on the mat and zen out for a spell.  (Will I ever advance up to their 'P3' hot yoga class?  Not even with some help from Ganapati and Hanuman!)

What a wonderful experience I had at Cross Culture Kombucha…read more I had started following their Instagram and noticed a "Sampling Saturday" featuring Ritual non alcoholic spirits and knew I could build a day trip around her location in Danbury. It is located in a very big space that is bright and inviting. There are three parts... a tap room with several varieties of Kombucha, a large room for guest seating, and a space behind the scenes to make, bottle, and distribute. My sister in law was very skeptical but extremely delighted and surprised at how good everything tasted! I am an avid Kombucha drinker, and Cross Culture has been my favorite for a few months... So I was so excited to try everything. 1. it is my favorite because it is lightly effervescent and stays true to the roots of the fermentation process without overdoing it. Flavors are spot on, and they ALL taste delicious. I loved the "Dope Beets" on tap and bought that, but I have always gravitated to Earl Grey. 2. You can buy it locally around CT. Check out their web page: https://crossculturekombucha.com/ 3. They promote Sober Life and have a whole shelf of non alcoholic spirits in addition to their Kombucha. A nice variety, too! I chose Ritual non alcoholic Tequila. 4. Different weekly events keep customers engaged, and different things to taste each time are awesome!!! Support LOCAL!!! Thanks so much for the smiles, suggestions, the tasting and being a huge part of the healthy sober community! We need you!

Finally one is just around the corner! I stopped by on a weekday and was greeted at the door by a member of their team. After I told him it was my first visit, he explained the prices on the two sizes as well as the flavors they had available for the day. I got a couple of tastes and ended up leaving with a 12oz of the ginger tumeric and a growler of the red zinger. All for around $26-$27. I usually go through one of the Health Ade bottles a day so I love that these are organic and locally nano-brewed. They don't have the tartness that most kombuchas I am used to have, so that is either a plus or minus for you depending on your individual preference. Oh! One more thing, if you live nearby and plan to go here quite a bit, go for the growler. You bring it back with each visit and refills are $15 compared to the $20 you'll spend on your first time. So of course this is a *Covid times review and I felt that they took some great steps to keep customers and their staff safe. They have a little table set up outside where you drop off growlers and pick up refilled ones. Hand sanitizer was on the table and a menu was on the window so the whole interaction was nearly contactless. Andddd now my ginger turmeric is officially done...
