Even ChatGPT knew--Gold Coast is the ticket broker supreme!…read more I had 4 VIP Lollapalooza wristbands to sell last-minute from California when my plans to attend fell through. With just one day left before the event, I was desperate and had no idea where to turn. Out of sheer panic, I asked ChatGPT (no eye rolls please, lol) what to do--and when I inquired about a concierge-level, white glove ticket broker, it recommended Dan Finkel at Gold Coast Tickets. Let me just say: ChatGPT nailed it. Dan took really good care of me on price and walked me through the process step-by-step. It was seamless, and the money was in my account the moment he received the wristbands. But what happened next absolutely stunned me: Two of the four wristbands weren't working properly. I happened to be on the phone with Dan when the issue arose--and I overheard him calmly reassuring the new buyers that if anything didn't work, he'd send a courier immediately with replacements. And then... I heard him do exactly that--dispatching two new wristbands to the buyers on the spot. Even though the issue was on my end, Dan handled everything with grace, speed, and total professionalism. He protected the buyers, took responsibility, and made sure everyone was taken care of. This is exactly the kind of Midas-touch, high-integrity, concierge-level service I had asked ChatGPT about--and I got to watch it unfold in real time. If you're looking for someone who handles both buyer and seller with care, fairness, and human kindness, Dan Finkel is your guy. Whether you're in Chicago or anywhere else--go to Gold Coast Tickets. I'm still stunned. And yes... apparently ChatGPT really does know everything. And no--ChatGPT didn't write this review. I did. ;)

I had couple of guests that just checked in the hotel and had requested couple tickets for the Cubs game (before the play off series had started), Dave was able to track down couple tickets and the guests had liked the location and rate. Agreed to the purchase. When my guests had attempted to pick up the tickets, then an issue had arose with the tickets. The season ticket holder had changed his/her mind without letting AAA Tickets know until my guests had arrived to the gate to pick them up. The guests had to purchase new tickets so they could attend the game. The next day, I had called the agency at 11:00am and spoke to Paul regarding the situation. He had advised me, they had already had called the guests directly, refunded the fee and offered compasation. That is great customer service. I would recommend and I will continue to use AAA Tickets for any major events.

Can I give zero stars?…read more I went here this past summer to buy tickets to the Q101 block party concert for Shiny Toy Guns, Violent Femmes and Good Charlotte. They hadn't heard of the concert. Huh? How can a ticket sales place in Lincoln Park not know anything about Q101 or their summer concert festival? It was held at the Charter One Pavilion at Northerly Island!! It would be one thing if they said, "Sorry, we don't sell tickets for that concert". But to not even know what I'm talking about?? I am not a huge concert goer- but I would NEVER use this agency again!!

Please be advised to never order from this website…read more I purchase my tickets in early October for a Dec Concert. I was charged a $40 shipping fee for them to be shipped when on the website they were listed as E tickets to be emailed. I was concered about my tickets leading up to the concert and I sent numerous emails and phone calls to be ignored 3/4 of the time and the times I did talk to someone. They said they would call me at the end of the business day and guess what? no call back ever. I finally had enough as the concert was approaching soon and I needed to tickets and they decided to just up and cancel my order because I "complained" as any concerned customer would do after 3 months of waiting and the concert nearing would do. Now I'm fighting to have my credit card refunded. (3 weeks later) still nothing on my card. I would stay away from this company. bad customer communication and business practice.

Do NOT use this ticket venue!!! I ordered tickets for a concert - they were sent via FedEx and lost…read moreso I never received them. When I contacted the company, all they wanted to do was sell me 2 additional tickets. I was told the tickets were like cash and therefore could not be replaced or reprinted...they were not concerned nor did they try and help me out in any other way including filing a claim with FedEx (claims have to be filed by the sender). I found a way to file my own claim with FedEx because I believed they were the liable party for my lost tickets - until I found out my claim was denied because Classic Tickets waived a required signature!!! If you're sending tickets worth several hundreds of dollars that are like cash and cannot be replaced, why would you not cover your bases and require a signature upon receipt???? It can't be due to cost because the customer pays top dollar in processing and shipping fees. This company only looks out for themselves and how much money they can squeeze from a person.

I've long been a fan of the Goodman, and though I used to be a semi-regular, I've only been here…read moreonce since the pandemic. Until today! Somehow, I learned about a children's production presented through their educational wing. I'm not sure if their education & engagement was this strong in years past or perhaps I simply wasn't dialed into their offerings, but that's definitely changing now. We went to see Splish Splash. This was a 50 minute long story about a blue heron and friends who are seeking to repair the moon after it fell into Lake Michigan. There were songs, there was play, and it was highly interactive. The kids--fellow "sailors", along with three of the cast members--learned a song to sing along at various parts of the show. There were several times when the kids were invited onto the "stage" (it was in one of their lab/classroom spaces, so there wasn't a raised stage) to help or participate. It was so well done, and kept the kids engaged. I really loved how this experience was designed. Upon arrival we were checked in and pointed to one of the classroom spaces. I was surprised because I wasn't sure how actors could be safe there, but it was actually a room for the kids to color and read books or play with toys and stuff before we were taken into the room where the performance took place. I've only seen something that was meant to keep kids busy like that before showtime is at Filament Theatre, and we've gone to kids shows at two or three other theaters by now. It was a great touch. This production was specifically geared toward children aged 0-5, which is atypical and felt so special that it was written with the littlest theatergoers. One of the important pre-show reminders was for adults, reminding us that it's a no-shush zone! I'm so excited that one of the most important theaters in the city, and the oldest non-profit theater still in operation in Chicago, is so committed to developing young audiences in an exciting way and meeting them where they're at. We'll be regulars at their Theatre for the Very Young programs.
