I've had this company do a number of appliance repairs at my rental unit. They have never once been on time ("on time" being at least a 4 hour appointment window). They don't call. They schedule all day appointments, then no-show and no-call. They were supposed to install a control board in my 2 year old washing machine this afternoon (purchased from Appliance Outlet, of course), that has been non-functional for three weeks now. "Between 1 and 5", they said. When I hadn't heard from anybody all afternoon, I called them to make certain someone was coming, which they reassured me someone was. So I waited. And waited. Nobody showed up. Nobody called. I didn't hire them, and wouldn't, but the property manager seems to like using them. I have now told her not to send them over again. It would probably have cost me less to hire someone reliable myself to fix the machine than the value of the time I've lost sitting around waiting for chronic lates and no-shows. Don't hire these people for your repairs. Don't buy anything from them. They're patently unreliable. Note: Yelp for some ridiculous reason places my location in California in spite of my attempts to correct it. I'm in Edmonton.

Despite it being brand new, it displayed an E20 error the very first time we ran a cycle. We reported the issue to Trail Appliances immediately, expecting it to be a minor fix or, at the very least, acknowledged properly. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case. What followed was a drawn-out, exhausting back-and-forth with Trail. Their response has been slow, unhelpful, and frankly, dismissive. They eventually told us they've ordered parts to fix the machine, but the reality is--the error has worsened. It now happens every 10 minutes, completely disrupting our ability to do something as basic as wash dishes. As a family with a busy home life, this has caused us an incredible amount of stress. The dishwasher is supposed to add convenience, not become a daily source of pain. We've even begun to doubt whether the unit was new to begin with, as it has never worked properly from day one. What's most disappointing is not just the appliance itself, but the complete lack of urgency or empathy from Trail Appliances. When you spend your hard-earned money on something that's supposed to make life easier, and it fails you repeatedly--with no meaningful resolution--it's incredibly disheartening. I don't write reviews often, but I felt it was important to share our experience so others can make a more informed decision. I wouldn't wish this level of inconvenience on anyone.

It took over a week to finally escalate to someone who could help. What SHOULD have happened is, Shawn Raja owner ,salesman , one man show etc should have had us return the stove and allow us to find something else or refund the purchase. This needs to be done within 48 hours of telling him there is a problem. He did nothing! In turn he caused a delay in getting a resolution and added stress and frustration. He is not a nice person to intentionally refuse to help someone who just paid for a brand new appliance. I have correspondence from Fridgidaire on how he failed and caused delays, stress and frustration. I wish we had never stopped at his store! I want a refund for the bogus extended warranty he sold us for $200 . He lies, he's dishonest and he's not a good human being. I'm filing a complaint with consumer affairs due to his shady business practices. Bait and switch. He showed a stove on the floor in black but we bought one in stainless steel. It was supposedly the same stove. We were charged an additional $100 for it and it is the lowest quality model we ended up with. It has no self clean option but the floor model does. This purchase was the complete opposite experience - to the point where I will not purchase online again. My review reflects both the south and north locations as they were both involved. I made an online purchase during their Black Friday Sale. I picked Leon's specifically because they had pick up available for a few days later at their south location. Price was great. Receipt states purchase had been made and that pick up requested from the south side location. I received a call a few days later - the person confirming that I wanted to pick up from North. Stated that no, I wanted south and that's what my receipt shows. Staff said I could pick it up from the north location on the original date or from the south side location a week later. I reminded them that I had picked the south location and Leon's for this purchase because of it's quick availability. I also asked how I can cancel this order if needed as it didn't seem like it was going to work out. The staff said "I don't know, hold on" When they came back, they stated I could pick up Friday from the south location but call first to make sure it was there. I again asked how I could cancel my order if my item was not there. They did not answer, but stated to call on the pick up day to check before we come. I said okay and told them it would be my husband who shares the same address as myself but is not on the receipt. Staff said it would not be a problem. Fast forward to pick up day - item not available but can be picked up at north location. My husband gives in and drives to get it. North staff won't give it to him as his name is not on the receipt; he told her that I had already gone through this with customer service. They DID however let him cancel my order WITHOUT calling me first to check. This blows my mind... you won't let him pick it up but he can cancel an order that's not in his name? The staff at north were extremely cooperative though overall and make a rectified the whole thing; they were very apologetic. South side got a one, north side gets an extra star for their in person customer service. I do not recommend buying online - their system for pick up is ineffective and lacks a thorough form of communication.

I was advised at purchase that the bed frame did not require a box spring. Two separate inspectors later confirmed the mattress is defective and that our metal box spring (which was not even required) was adequate. Despite this, Leon's repeatedly denied the claim, providing inconsistent and inaccurate explanations that contradict both inspection reports. To make matters worse, I was initially told I could use the 200‑day comfort guarantee, but was later denied that option once the mattress was labeled "defective," which is contradictory and unreasonable. Overall, there has been a clear lack of accountability, poor communication, and inconsistent handling of a legitimate warranty issue. I am requesting that Leon's review this case promptly, honor their warranty and return policy, and provide a fair resolution, including a refund or replacement. Until then, I cannot recommend Leon's.

He went to the back, and after several minutes was back with our shelves. When it was time to pay, he calculated the total of $140. When we pointed out that the total ought to be $112 plus tax, which in no way adds up to $140, he said that the shelves are $70..."or something like that"! At that point, my husband and I stood there with our mouths half open and our eyes full of surprise and horror. We pointed to the shelves on display which were clearly marked at $56 each! The sales associate proclaimed: "So, $65, yes?" Ahem, no...it $56, for crying out loud! Apparently to this man we looked like a couple of teenagers who would give into pressure of buying clearly marked product at the price established by this sales associate on the spot. I have never experienced anything like this in my life! When my husband was about to erupt with anger, and was pulling me towards the exit, the sales associate said: "Ok, $56"... Like he was doing us a favor...I wish I haven't bought anything from him, but at that moment I was so confused and disoriented by what has been going on, that I handed him my credit card. I am not sure what the hell happened that night at the Brick Clearance Centre, but I most definitely will avoid this place like the plague.

But the online customer service is horrendous. If I could give zero stars I would. Never order from this company. Sorry about the length of this review/rant, but I feel it's justified. I called Bosch on March 2 to get a replacement handle for my dishwasher. The guy told me it was actually the entire control panel since the handle was built-into it. And it was going to cost about $230. But unfortunately it was on backorder and I wouldn't receive it till mid-late April at the earliest. Did some online searching. And found what I thought was the part on Reliable Parts website. I called them, which took me three (3) tries before someone answered. Talked to a woman named Donna. She confirmed the part number I was looking at was correct and said "Good news we have one in stock at our Ontario warehouse. It'll take a couple days to get it from there, but you should get it in the next week or two. I'll send you a confirmation email of the order and you should get a courier tracking number in the next day when the label is made". March 9, I emailed her back and said "Hi, haven't received a courier tracking number yet. Any update on this?" No response! March 18, emailed her again asking for order confirmation. She replied almost immediately with this exact email. "Good morning, Good news! It looks like your part has come in today and should be shipped out and you should receive in the next day or 2. You should get a tracking emailed to you at some point when it is labeled and ready to go. Have a great day!" March 26 (Today) still no part or courier. I sent another email. "Hi Donna, Still haven't received the part, or even, a courier tracking update on when I can expect this delivery. I'll be honest, I'm starting to get a little frustrated. I fully expected to receive this in a week or so when I first ordered it. It's been almost a month with little to no info. " Again, she replied almost immediately with: "I understand but on special orders it typically takes 2-4 weeks. Your part is in stock at Bosch so hopefully showing up in the next week. Parts that are special order never only take a week, always 2-4 and sometimes a little longer. We have no stock in our warehouses so are waiting for Bosch to send it out." I responded with "Yeah no that's not right. Because I when I told you I called Bosch the morning of March 2 when I ordered with you but they didn't have any in-stock. You said I quote "Good news our warehouse in Ontario has one left in stock". And that was true because I looked online as I was on the phone with you after you gave me the exact part number, and there was one (1) in stock. This is why I ordered through you, and not though Bosch directly, even though it cost more. You said it would take a couple days to get it from the warehouse and ship to me in the coming days. So either you didn't have it in stock and took my money as payment for delayed delivery. Or for all I know this is a total scam. I literally have your email from last week saying it was "ready to ship out and I would get a courier tracking number. And have the part in the next day or two." I don't know why you feel the need lie and don't say you're not because I have emails to prove it. You can simply be honest and say you didn't have the part in stock. I understand sometimes online stock checks aren't accurate. But you literally lied to me last week. So I want someone from Reliable Parts management to contact me about this. If I don't receive a email or phone call from someone higher up in the corporate chain in response to this, I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint about Reliable Parts and basically claiming this is complete fraud. And I will be taking this entire email thread to my local Reliable Parts store and let them deal with this, because this is beyond ridiculous. Thank your time...I will be awaiting a response from a corporate." She just responded with an email saying "OK, but if there was no stock when you ordered at Bosch there is now. We do not typically have these panels in stock" and proceeded to send me a screenshot from the Bosch website showing it in stock. I responded with "I need someone in Reliable Parts management to contact me. I will be waiting to hear from them. Thank you" So, I feel I just got scammed out of $285 and will never see this part for my dishwasher or money again. I have since ordered the part through Bosch an awaiting for it to come on backorder. I know I sound like a complete "Karen" right now. But reading the reviews on here and other review sites, it sounds like I'm not the only one with this kind of treatment. To be completely honest, I don't care if I have to wait for my part. It's the blatant lies that really get my blood boiling. So, yeah, never use the online "UnReliable" Parts.
