I wrote this for google reviews, but may as well spread it around:…read more If you use these guys for an appliance repair, you can rest assured they will be late - even for an all-day appointment - if they bother to show up at all. I've had this company do a number of appliance repairs at my rental unit. They have never once been on time ("on time" being at least a 4 hour appointment window). They don't call. They schedule all day appointments, then no-show and no-call. They were supposed to install a control board in my 2 year old washing machine this afternoon (purchased from Appliance Outlet, of course), that has been non-functional for three weeks now. "Between 1 and 5", they said. When I hadn't heard from anybody all afternoon, I called them to make certain someone was coming, which they reassured me someone was. So I waited. And waited. Nobody showed up. Nobody called. I didn't hire them, and wouldn't, but the property manager seems to like using them. I have now told her not to send them over again. It would probably have cost me less to hire someone reliable myself to fix the machine than the value of the time I've lost sitting around waiting for chronic lates and no-shows. Don't hire these people for your repairs. Don't buy anything from them. They're patently unreliable. Note: Yelp for some ridiculous reason places my location in California in spite of my attempts to correct it. I'm in Edmonton.

This store stocks mainly GE appliances. Lots of selection in stock, which means no waiting. Bardo was very helpful and I got an even better deal on a higher end washer dryer set than I originally started with. Plus I got delivery within 1 week. If you need new GE appliances shop here!

I really can't recommend this business enough! My old Miele dishwasher broke down the other day,…read moreand after a nasty experience with another appliance repair business in Edmonton, we had the appliance repair division of Sherwood Appliance (now known as Mr Appliance in Sherwood Park) come out to look at the dishwasher. The repair technician, Zoltán, was extremely competent, experienced, and polite. Sadly, after his evaluation, we discovered the parts to repair the old dishwasher would almost total the same price as getting a new dishwasher! We originally considered buying another Miele at a Miele dealer like Trail Appliances, but after our old Miele broke down after only slightly more than four years of use, we began to consider giving another brand a try. Zoltán contacted his own company's sales manager, Rob, from Sherwood Appliance who then, assuming we wanted another Miele, referred us to the private number of his counterpart at Trail Appliances, assuring us that we would get the best possible service if we dealt with them after mentioning that Rob referred us. Rob also invited us to look at the wide inventory Sherwood Appliance had in stock if we ever wanted to buy something other than a Miele. This openness and attention to customer service impressed me so much I asked Rob what brands Sherwood Appliance had in stock, and it turns out that they have one of the best inventories in the greater Edmonton area of in-stock items! I was already tired of washing dishes by hand, and we wanted a new dishwasher as soon as possible. To make a long story short, we still wanted to stick with a European brand, so we ended up purchasing a new Blomberg dishwasher through Rob, and he pulled every string possible to get our delivery and installation done that same day. This is a company that really goes above and beyond for the customer, and I highly recommend them, both for appliance repair and the purchase of new appliances.

Trail Appliances - Consistent Error Message

If I could give zero stars, I would…read more We've had nothing but stress and frustration from the very first day we started using the Frigidaire dishwasher supplied by Trail Appliances. Despite it being brand new, it displayed an E20 error the very first time we ran a cycle. We reported the issue to Trail Appliances immediately, expecting it to be a minor fix or, at the very least, acknowledged properly. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case. What followed was a drawn-out, exhausting back-and-forth with Trail. Their response has been slow, unhelpful, and frankly, dismissive. They eventually told us they've ordered parts to fix the machine, but the reality is--the error has worsened. It now happens every 10 minutes, completely disrupting our ability to do something as basic as wash dishes. As a family with a busy home life, this has caused us an incredible amount of stress. The dishwasher is supposed to add convenience, not become a daily source of pain. We've even begun to doubt whether the unit was new to begin with, as it has never worked properly from day one. What's most disappointing is not just the appliance itself, but the complete lack of urgency or empathy from Trail Appliances. When you spend your hard-earned money on something that's supposed to make life easier, and it fails you repeatedly--with no meaningful resolution--it's incredibly disheartening. I don't write reviews often, but I felt it was important to share our experience so others can make a more informed decision. I wouldn't wish this level of inconvenience on anyone.

It was a disaster dealing with Miele. Broken links. Missed appointments. Parts unavailable. I would leave a review with Miele, but the link they sent me was just to their website. No place to leave a review there! Trail is fine. Just DON'T buy Miele!

I reached out to Trail Appliances and they told me to contact Bosch, I contact Bosch and they tell me to contact Trail Appliances. Trail appliances would not offer any type of solution - so I offered a solution to Trail for the unmatched appliances. I offered to bring in a stainless steel swatch and match the Micro/Oven combo unit to exchange for any other brand that would match to the refrigerator. They would not exchange the appliance - they offered me another appliance at COST price. I did not think spending more money was the solution Trail Appliances should have offered to their customer. UPDATE: Your March 11, 2026 response to my review is inaccurate. You mentioned that you advocated on our behalf with the manufacturer and solutions were offered. That is simply not true that you or Bosch offered any type of a solution for us. The issue had nothing to do with the new matching the old appliances. The stainless steel mismatch was on the brand new appliances we purchased. Thanks anyways!!!

They didn't even advise us whom could repair it. I had to get a hold of Dacor corporate to find a repair company. In the end, Dacor doesn't make the parts anymore so we have to buy a whole new range. Trail is selling equipment, deemed as high end, like Dacor, that is not serviceable and doesn't last. I would really do your research and find a supplier who has better after sales service, than Trail.
