Well, luckily for me directly across the street, Charming Charlie was open. My oldest daughter is very familiar with them since they were known as Icing's rival store. (My daughter used to work with Icing.) We were welcomed at the door by one of the employees who was very helpful showing us, by pointing, what all of the departments had in them. I asked her (jokingly) if they had something to do with Icing closing their doors, she just shrugged as if to say, Icing who? I quickly left it alone. I wanted to browse the store, not cause any trouble. Lol! After searching I found the perfect earrings, necklace, and dainty but elegant bracelet, which got a few compliments at my event. All very affordable and stylish pieces that I was happy to find. My daughter bought a bag that was perfect for traveling. At checkout we were encouraged to sign-up for emails about promotions and online offers. I just took advantage of their 'Cyber Monday' sale and bought gifts for my friends for the holidays. But customer service rocks at both locations. Did you know you can customize Vans too? Of course this will take 4-6 weeks for the custom orders but how cool is that? Keep that in mind if you ever want custom shoes. We ordered our shoes online and when the shoe didn't fit, we were able to bring it to the store and make the exchange. If they don't have it in store, they will order the right size for you and have it shipped to your home, no extra charge. Love it. While I headed over to look at some of the handbags they had for sale, I did notice there were different tables situated with some sale items as well as a display with red, white, and blue items - in alignment with the upcoming holiday. They had pretty much all of the new animatronics set up on display, tons of costumes to choose from, loads of home decor & plenty more. Because this store is on the larger side there was a lot of floor space to cover & they did pretty well with that. I think they still could've squeezed in one more animatronic display though. It was fairly organized during the late afternoon & there were always at least a few employees on the floor if you needed help. There was definitely no shortage of staff here. Like all Spirit locations, the prices aren't too steep. You really can't beat their merchandise, especially because they carry a lot of exclusive items. Throw in the 20% off coupons they always send out & now we're talking. Although their quality control sometimes lacks, I've usually never had an issue with anything I've purchased. The best part is, if you ever experience problems with your purchase the company is very good at honoring refunds. Considering the size & how much product they carry, I'd have to say this is the best one in the area. There really weren't many things I had trouble finding. I also saw a some new products (to me) which is always cool. Spirit Halloween, you never disappoint!
