This particular location which is located in the outlets is a bright, airy store with an attractive layout. The biggest attraction about major brand locations in outlets are good deals and it is within these walls that you can find some good deals. I guess Coach is mainly known for their handbags and while the prices here can seem a bit high, you have to remember that prices in department stores are significantly higher. All in all, I would recommend this particular Coach location. Come and check it out and pretend you might find that particular item that you needed at a great price. read more

Big bright store with beautiful designer bags and merchandise. The bags were nicely displayed around the store. They had styles for every occasion. They were offering good discounts when I was there. There was a shoe section offering a few interesting styles from casual to dressy. There was also some costume jewelry on display. I was surprised at how big the store was inside. From the outside it appeared much smaller. The staff were friendly and helped me figure out the sale price of a purse I liked. Great store to checkout if your looking for a designer bag. read more

I have visited this store several times and never reviewed it because sometimes it is a positive shopping experience and some times not so much. My biggest negative is the assistance. You walk in and there is always someone there to greet you and inform you of the sales that are going on. You will be approached several times while you shop but the minute you need someone, you get ignored sometimes. There was one time I actually walked out because a staff member was to the point of annoying. Every item I looked at or touched, she went on about the descriptions like I was watching QVC. I know I am not the only person who hates this and likes to shop in peace and relax! Luckily, that was only one time. The store is pretty spacious and clean. Sometimes there is more staff than customers. I do have to say the associates are not super pushy like some other stores. Coach bags are extremely durable and never had issues with them. Plus, you can score some amazing deals here. The best sales are when it's 70% off everything in the store and an extra 20% off. I have not witnessed any sales better than that but that does not mean it does not exist! read more

Some really great deals to be found here. There are bags for days! Even though I've only made two purchase here, I do pop in whenever I'm in St. Auggie at the Outlet Mall just to take a peek around and see what they have. The two purchases I did make were really good ones... A zippered case for my iPad and a keychain. I got the keychain for $10, which was a steal! I have two keychains I got from a regular Coach store.... one was $95 and the other was $60. The reason I'm leery to buy from here is because I have purchased more Coach bags than I can count from actual Coach stores. I've gotten to know the people who work in the Coach Store at The Avenues in Jacksonville pretty well. They've told me that the majority of the bags in the outlet stores were bags made with lesser quality materials specifically made only for the outlet stores or they are bags that had imperfections. They said the Outlet stores do occasionally get items that were actually in a Coach store at one time that didn't sell, but these items are few and far between. Yes, the bags here are significantly cheaper than what you'll find in an actual Coach store. Are they of the same quality? Chances are.... probably not. It still goes back to the whole "you get what you pay for" thing. I'm not knocking it though. Everything here is still made by Coach. That's why I'm still giving it 3 stars. Buying a bag from here is most certainly NOT like buying a cheap knock-off from a flea market (ugggg.... I can spot those things a mile away LOL). Every time I've been in this store, it's extremely crowded.... not a bad thing, just an observation. The sales people here are all extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Despite the crowd, the employees still somehow manage to keep everything perfectly organized. That's just amazing in and of itself! I'll keep peeking in here whenever I'm in the area just because I never know what I may find. I keep my eyes on Coach bags regularly.... whether it be at their online site or in one of the regular stores.... so I can usually tell if an item is from an actual Coach store or not. read more

WARNING! Do not go to this store. I spent over $2,000 4 days ago. I arrived back to my home and used one of the handbags. The shoulder strap came off 3 times in one hour. When I called the manager of the store she was rude and hung up on me. Said the only thing that could be done is return it to a store. I live 2 hours to the closest store! But, they had a gate stopping shoppers from entering like it was Studio 54...There were at least 50 signs around the store saying EVERYTHING was an extra 25% off. I went to check out &was refused my 25% discount. I gor the Manager & was refused. I have found some great selections in here for a great price. They have jewelry, sunglasses, wallets, totes, clutches and more! Everything is on display just like the Coach Store so it doesn't high a department store feel which is great! The Coach purses I have purchased are all still in great condition dispite the fact that several of them are 5-10+ years old. The great thing about the Coach brand as opposed to Aldo, Express or another higher end store but not necessarily name brand is that their purses last! They may be more expensive then what you might normally pay for but they are totally worth it! read more

Reading some of the reviews just for a laugh... These purses are DIFFERENT then those that you will find at an official Coach store. If you are looking for a purse that you saw at their online store, turn around and walk out. This store will not have what you want. I've never seen used items displayed at this location, but you might find returned items that didn't sell at original stores ie... clearance item. But the bulk of the items are especially made for OUTLET stores. There is always a line and sometimes people on the floor trying to keep the store in order. Customer service is okay. Coach had always been a brand associated with woman's purses and accessories and I've purchase a number of gifts from Coach over my lifetime, but a few years ago I discovered the Coach Stores for men and believe me I've been a fan every since. They offer a wide selection wallets, bags of all types, shoes, belts and specialty items and they are constantly adding new items and changing styles just like the original stores do for Women's purses and accessories. I for one like to buy items that have worked for me in the past so this sometimes creates an issue for me, once I find something I like I would like to be able to buy this exact item over and over again but that rarely can happen here or any others store of this caliber. Today I left empty handed after look for a checkbook cover that has been discontinued and a exact match to replace my existing wallet. Although they offer many wallets of different styles and sizes I was unable to find what I was looking for so I decided to wait to see if my choice comes back around. This is a very large Coach Store for Men and was filled with just about anything a man could want in regards to travel accessories. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the prices and discounts were everywhere around the store if you haven't given this brand a try I high recommend you at least check them out. read more

I had a dreadful experience here. I was 7 months pregnant when I visited the store. One of the sales associates approached me and rather than asking me if she could help me with anything she opened with "when is your baby due... tomorrow?". My husband asked if she was kidding and she just said "no". When he told her I still had 10 weeks to go she replied that it was going to be a monstrously large baby then. I was shocked but tried to be polite and told her that the baby was measuring perfectly average in size, even slightly small, then tried to walk away. She followed me and continued, telling me that there was a woman in the week before who was expecting twins that week and that she was the same size as me. Still hoping she would leave me alone I responded politely and supposed that maybe the other woman was taller or carried the weight differently, but no, she insisted we were exactly the same build and that the other woman's babies were right on track (interestedly she later added they were expected to spend some time in the NICU, which doesn't sound on track to me... Sounds like a sales associate that was being a jerk). After following me around the store harassing me about the size of my pregnant belly it was only as I approached the door to leave she asked me if I saw anything I liked. To which I responded with a nervous laugh and walked out, wholly disturbed by what had transpired. I did have a chance to look at the goods as I was tracked around the store and thought the offerings were mediocre compared to the only other Coach outlet I've been to, outside of Chicago. read more

Who doesn't love find good quality purses and accessories for a STEAMIN' deal?!?! Each time I've visited this particular location the service has met and possibly exceeded expectations. Although, for my shopping style they are overly helpful. This store is located in the east side of the St. Augustine Outets. There is also a men's store located a few doors down. The clearance section is placed in the back left corner of the store. A week ago I found a bag marked down to $289.00 and a matching wallet marked down to $149.00. BUT they had a extra promotion going on for 50% off the marked down price and another 40% off of that. ....I walked out of the store for under $170.00 for both purse and wallet. Be careful of purchasing their patten leather goods - it's not as quality as you would expect from Coach. A friend said they've changed their policy regarding their warranty. ....so I'd asked the sales associate for clarification before you purchase. ....previously if you're bag fell apart or stitching came unraveled Coach would fix or replace the bag. One thing I learn on my last shopping trip was not all the bags were previously featured in the regular store - however, there are a few lines which have been. So if you're looking for last season's merchandise - it may be a hit or miss. ...again, ask the sales associates I'm sure they will be more than knowledgeable to help you with your hunt. read more

I've been a patron of this Coach Store for quite a while and I've came home with quite a few new bags. Every day they have a different coupon featuring a percentage off (20,30, 40, and even 50% off) on top of the already discounted prices. The selection of bags is endless and they have something for everyone (even the guys, a few shops down). All of the staff members that I have ever encountered were super friendly and helpful. When the bags start disappearing from the shelves, they are quickly restocking them with even more bags. Its sad to experience the treatment I just did at the Coach outlet here in St.Augustine. Yes I'm dressed like a bum, but I'm rockin my $400 Gucci's, have my Coach purse that I bought at their regular retail store for $429, and I get not one hello, not 1 hi from anyone! 2 minutes prior to checking out a lady says nice tan & when I start telling her about the type of bag I'm looking for she gets distracted by an older Caucasian woman and helps her instead! I love, love, love finding a new Coach factory store. There's not one within three hours of my house, so this was a special treat for me on a recent roadtrip. Overall, my experience at this store was quite positive. I was able to browse around, and I found a beautiful purse and scarf at over 70% off retail. The actual transaction at the register was efficient and professional, and the associate was helpful in answering my questions. The only thing I didn't like was the one pushy associate I kept running into. No matter how many times I told her I just wanted to look around and take my time, or that I was indecisive, or whatever the reason was, she kept coming up to me and making pushy little comments about whatever I picked up. She also got on my case about NOT picking anything up early on during my browsing; I was holding a scarf, but apparently, that was too small potatoes to count. I didn't like basically being lectured over my shopping style. I intended to buy something (which isn't the point, really), but wanted my space to look around and make the right decision. Went to this factory store to purchase multiple Christmas gifts. The manager was extremely rude and dismissive, and my experience was terrible. Its staff should learn how to treat customers well especially when the products are this expensive and high-quality. One manager, Andrea, was incredibly rude as I was trying to purchase my items, and acted as if I should've shopped elsewhere. I would not recommend this factory store. read more

Coach Outlet - The purses here are beautiful. I love them. Be sure to understand the distinction that these are COACH OUTLET purses, and not Coach Brand Purses. If you ask the sales ladies they will tell you that these are NOT THE SAME as the purses that you get at the Official Coach Site, nor the Official Coach Stores or the department stores like Macy's, or Dillards, or Bloomingdales. This is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT LINE of Purses. They make no bones about it. When you go to Official Coach Stores, or Dillards, or Macy's with your OUTLET PURSE, you will be treated nastily by the Official Coach People.. The official coach stores will say "Oh, that is not a REAL Coach". Be warned, I did not know this, I went into a a coach store, and asked about buying a purse for my daughter, they recognized my purse was an Outlet Purse and were not very nice to me at all. The purses are great, I assume however that there is an implied "less than" quality branding with this. I checked with many manufacturers that have Outlet Stores, they do acknowledge that the clothing/shoes/purses that are offered at the Outlet Stores is in many cases NOT the same as the official merchandise. (Thus the extreme savings). You should just be warned. You don't want to be called out and embarrassed in front of anyone. read more
