We shop at the Coach Outlet in San Ysidro pretty often, and we've consistently had great experiences, so I was honestly surprised to see some of the negative reviews. Our visit last Sunday was another reminder of why we keep coming back. Valerie helped us and was fantastic. She went to the back to find the size I needed in a pair of shoes and made sure everything fit before we checked out. Friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful. The products are excellent, the store is well organized, and the service has been consistently good for us every time. Still very happy to shop here and get the discounted prices for well made products. read more

What happened to the purses I ordered on line ?????? I ordered over $200.00 in purses!!! This was through a facebook advertisement. I do not know who or how to speak with someone regarding this!!!!!!!! I will NEVER order a Coach product on line again!!! It is a rip off. The advertisement was taken off line with no one to contact I waited this long because I was informed (when ordered) that my order would be sent in September. Extremely disappointed with the customer service here. I was waiting for almost 10 min for an associate to help me & they were all busy talking in a circle, waited a few minutes to ask them a question and they were super rude about it. I almost didn't purchase it the purse, but I didn't want to feed into the stereotype I felt placed on me that I wasn't going to purchase. Overall, they had cute & affordable options there. Customer service was just the issue. read more

Purchased a cute wallet that fit all my needs yesterday at the Tannersville PA Coach outlet, only to find someone's cosmetology license and a building access key card tucked inside -- meaning I purchased a USED item from this Coach store! I live 2 hours away, so returning to that store is not an option. The Outlet referred me to Coach Customer Service, who will send me a return label, but I still have to pack it up and drop it off at the nearest UPS location, and will not be able to get this same wallet as it's out-of-stock (and the nearest outlet is 45 minutes away if I want to find a similar one). Customers should NEVER have to check to be sure a Coach item hasn't been previously used, and should NOT have to go to any effort to be made whole when something like this happens. Additionally, the first guy I spoke with at Customer Service left me on hold for over 10 minutes after taking my info and never returned, however a wonderful woman named Tamara picked-up the call and took care of me (Tamara deserves 5 stars, and is the reason I didn't leave 1 star overall). read more

I didn't feel welcomed here, the staff seemed annoyed that I asked questions they didn't know the answers to. If I'm purchasing something, of course I'm going to ask about it "how many inches is this bag?" "Is it real leather?" "Are the details made of brass hardware?" They had to call other employees to help answer simple questions in which all of their answers were "I don't know." Even after looking it up through their system. Just overall an odd experience. read more

Coach Outlet Online Very disappointed with their shipping instructions. Spoke to their supervisor and she was of no help. The quality of these products is pathetic; they are far too expensive for what they are, and they don't honor the promised warranty. They use very low-quality materials, and the employees have no idea what they're talking about. When my bag started showing damage along the stitching and the glue they used began seeping through onto the surface, no one knew what to do. I asked for a replacement--the same bag or something similar--but they refused; the only offer was a 30% discount on a future purchase. I can't believe a so-called designer bag has a worse warranty and lower quality than a bag from Walmart--overpriced products of extremely poor quality. Now I'm left with a bag that looks like a cheap knockoff; it's embarrassing. The saddest part is that my bag actually went to the repair department, only to be sent back with an email saying, "We are very sorry, but we cannot repair your bag." If you can't repair it, do something to make it right. Don't even get me started on the wallet; the saddest part is that, as time goes by, everything I bought is falling apart... So much for "designers"--they're just a bunch of scammers calling themselves designers to charge a premium for items made in India or China. read more

I'm a Coach collector and love this brand for the high quality of their products. Two weeks ago for the second time I visited this location. Same as last time, as soon as I entered the store, the bald manager, Francisco, stared at me, looked me up and down, and started saying something into his headpiece instead of greeting me to make me feel welcomed and interested in shopping. Same as last time, he made me so uncomfortable that I ended up leaving the store without buying anything. As soon as I stretched my hand to touch a bag, two people would approach me from right and left like I was a criminal. I would never return to this store in a million years because of the unwelcoming culture that this manager has. Instead of greeting people, he gives you a mean bitter look that you just wanna leave the store. I have been to the Carlsbad location several times, and I have never experienced such a thing, very disappointed in the coach! read more

I haven't been here since pre covid! It was pretty crowded in Easter Sunday. They had a great selection. Displays were nice. I came to try on some bags-I usually order online but I am short so wanted to make sure certain styles looked good on me. I see a lot of bad reviews on here but I had a good experience. I noticed some pics showed bags with flaws so thanks to those I will thoroughly check to ensure I won't receive any flawed ones. I just purchased a sunglass case since it is no longer available online. read more

I have a Coach Brooklyn bag that has some stitching coming undone. Since I purchased the bag less than a year ago, this repair is covered by the Coach 1 year warranty. I brought my bag into this store as stated I could by the Coach website. The manager at this store, Fransisco, would not take my bag for repair. He said that because the bag was purchased at Macy's, then I would have to return it to Macy's (this isn't true as per Macy's policy). He told me to leave this Coach store, head to the nearest Macy's (at a different mall), and IF they wouldn't help me, I could drive BACK to him at Coach, and ONLY THEN he could help me send the bag in for repair under warranty. So, he admitted that he is able to send the bag in for repair under warranty... Why not do it now then? I did not want to do this since I was already at Coach, and I explicitly read on Macy's website that Coach bag warranties must be made through Coach directly (which we mentioned to him). I decided that instead of driving around, I would just ask him how much the repair costs. He never answered this question for me. Each of the 3 times I asked, he redirected the answer to once again "go to Macy's and they'll probably just send you a whole new bag!" Which, by the way, is not even true because my bag is 11 months old, but seemed like he was just saying anything that would convince me to go to Macy's. Again, at this point I was not even worried about the warranty, or even a new bag, I willing to pay for the repair. I eventually left as he clearly did not want to deal with the repair, and at that point I didn't trust that he even knew how to do it properly. I am now mailing my bag into Coach directly. Isn't that interesting how Coach online is happy to deal with my repair even though it was made through an authorized retailer? I've heard great things about Coach's customer service but I did not experience that at this location. read more

I wanted to take a moment to share my appreciation for the exceptional online shopping experience I've had with this brand. From start to finish, everything was seamless, and I truly value how quick and easy the process was. Their customer care team is outstanding, and it truly made a difference. I recently made several purchases during their online sale, and I wanted to mention this because, in the past, I've had challenges with online shopping with other brands. However, their service has completely changed my perspective. I will certainly be sharing my positive experience with family and friends, and I look forward to shopping with this brand again in the future. I purchased 2 Coach totes from the Coach Outlet in December 2025. They arrived quickly. Both arrived on the same day, but in different boxes. One was wrapped in brown paper and the other in purple tissue. Upon opening, BOTH totes smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. So heavily, we had to quickly close the boxes and place them in the garage. I noticed the boxes were sent from a "return center." I was obviously sent items that had been returned. A Coach Outlet representative acted confused about my receiving items from a return center, but promised I would receive a $50 certificate for each of the bags for my troubles. I returned both bags immediately. It is January 2026 and no certificates were sent. read more

If you're looking for a great deal on anything Coach, I would definitely say shop at the Outlets. Every time I've gone in here they are having at least a 50%-60% off sale.(off already discounted items), sometimes even more. They carry the latest Coach items, however the latest stuff may not be discounted. Customer service is also on point. I even had to bring my purse in for repair. It was a easy process and they mailed it back to me within weeks. The bad side is: Everyone is wearing/carrying a Coach purse now a days. Doesn't matter though... I still rock my Coach stuff! read more

I ordered a carryall purse and a medium wallet off of the website a couple weeks ago and even chose the no rush shipping option and it came on the December 23rd right in time for Christmas and did not take long at all! A++ for shipping and time. I love it and the bags and wallet were nicely wrapped and protected. My only issue is that it is not as big as I thought, but I don't mind. I don't carry much anyways, but even with the little stuff that i do have in it, it is still kind of heavy. I also noticed some of the threads have small pieces sticking out and I noticed some spots around the bag (they are tiny so at first glance no one would see it and I don't know if they were there when I got it because I was not looking too closely) but I have only barely used it for 2 days and I think its the material on the bag that made those "wearing" type of small dots because they won't go away. I think its the outer leather material of the bag. Otherwise I love it, I just really hope it lasts me a long time. Today is December 26th, 2020, so I guess we will see, but a definite 4 stars for now. It was cheaper than the original, yes, but it still wasn't that cheap, and for what I paid, I really hope those spots or little frays won't do any damage. I am usually not picky or a review writer, but I just wanted to say some stuff about it, thats all. I left some pictures of the spots I am talking about and the frays. Like I said, I am not picky and usually don't write reviews, just wanted to show what I mean if that makes sense. I still love it, just 10% bummed. We will see how this holds! :) read more

Pros: - Inventory is greater than Viejas Outlet, less than Carlsbad outlet. - On a slow day, customer service can be exceptional Cons: - Sales are commission driven. - Not all employees will offer to check the back for stock. - If you ask for an item from the back due to various customers (including kids with sticky fingers) touching what is to be a "premium leather product", again, some sales associates will check, not all. - Cashier shoved everything into one bag. I asked for multiple bags, they declined. I've seen grocery stores bag groceries with more care than the cashier that helped me. - They don't care to check for sensors. You can walk out and alarms will go off and they wont even bother to stop anyone. Cashiers look at you like you need to get back in line so they can remove the sensors. The security guard doesn't even bother to attend to the situation. Maybe that's why high end stores get looted. You get what you pay for with Coach, but I really don't see this location and or the brand competing with the likes of their competitors. If you asked me, you're better off finding a coach item from tj maxx or Ross. At least you'll get better customer service there. read more

This Coach factory store has such a boutique/retail store feel now that it is all remodeled w/ new wall art + plants +cushy furniture & rugs + other furnishings. I love it! The staff is really willing and eager to help you too. I was constantly asking them for more colors/styles, and they were glad to help me look in the drawers & in the back for additional inventory. ONE STAR: Variety You can find something for any woman (maybe not every man, though) here, and at so many different price points. They sell keychains for around $17 to wallets for $99 to purses ranging from $100- about $500. As opposed to higher-end luxury brands, this Coach outlet offers a wide variety of styles & items like: WOMENS -contact lens & pill cases -wallets -clutch wallets -umbrellas -iPhone 4/5 cases -perfume -scarves -shoes -PURSES OF COURSE :) -scarves -outerwear -backpacks -jewelry -keychains/charms -passport cases -jewelry boxes -belts MENS -wallets -universal travel adapter -messenger bags -crossbody bags -USB thumbdrive -backpacks -belts ONE STAR: Pricing This week, they were having a 50% off sale in their entire store and many items were already marked down (except the items from the retail store were just full price + discount). The shelves towards the register were a 30% off + 50% off which made a lot of purses such bargain buys for this brand. ONE STAR: Friendly & helpful SAs The sales associates who work here are smiling, complimenting, polite & professional. I never feel "judged." They work hard and every time I come, I always ask stuff like, "Do you have this in brown or black? Does this come in a different color trim? How much is this? Do you have more of these? Do you have these shoes in a different size?" and of course, my signature question is, "Does this purse have a matching wallet?" Yes. I'm one of those shoppers. No one has gotten annoyed at me so far (that I can tell, haha) and have answered all my questions. ONE STAR: Proximity to parking lot If you're a shopaholic, this is key. You want this store as close to the parking lot as possible, because the last thing you want to do is lug all your heavy purchases through the entire mall and to your car! I'm definitely giving this store 1 star for its location in the outlet. San Ysidro, not so much... ONE STAR: Quality Who doesn't love a Louis, Gucci, Prada, or Chanel, but Coach is the most accessible designer brand for the average American woman. I like Michael Kors, don't get me wrong, but Coach has an enormous variety of new prints/different materials/range of price points that it's hard to say no to all of them, and it only takes 1 bag to hook you in! For me, it was a Coach Hampton Patchwork shoulder bag that got me, years ago. Ever since then, I've been a victim to a lot of their simple, yet functional styles. I have a small collection now, and I've found their quality to be excellent. HOWEVER- that being said, beware of the Coach purses made JUST FOR THE FACTORY/OUTLET stores. One way you can distinguish the retail bags from the outlet bags is the retail bags are usually in a separate section in this store and may come with dust bags. Another way to tell is sometimes there's an "F" following a dash in the serial number of the bag, indicating that that particular bag was designed specifically for the outlet, which you don't want, b/c I find the quality is markedly different in those styles. In addition, the resale value of your purse will be significantly lower. ***SHOPPING TIPS FROM ONE SHOPAHOLIC to ANOTHER (Yes, you! Don't deny it. Why are you still reading this, then, huh?)*** -Too far for you to drive, but still want to check out the styles on sale? Buy on CoachFactory.com (the official Coach Outlet website) -Definitely buy what you want in a certain collection. Get the matching wallet/keychain/shoes/whatever other accessory to your purse if you can find it. Coach changes styles & materials often, and if you want to get the matching wallet later, it will be very difficult to find, especially if you want it new. So buy what you want, and you can always return the items at any retail/outlet store :) Get it before it's gone, I'm serious. Otherwise, you may suffer from reverse buyer's remorse. It's a real thing I promise. - Buy the PEYTON styles if you want a long lasting and durable bag. The PEYTON collection uses a type of coated canvas/saffiano leather material similar to that used in the classic Louis Vuitton monogram purses, which will last you like a decade (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/coach-outlet-san-ysidro?select=HE0Tk9VB-Jiurt6yB0sHww#3iav1RbYcSwqzLO0dADc9A). I'd stay with a leather style, at least, and avoid the cloth/regular canvas type of bags which can get dirty easily and can get snagged 0_0 -My top pick: Madison Lindsey satchel (many colors/materials & convertible too! http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/coach-outlet-san-ysidro?select=HE0Tk priced at ~$300) & the Peyton clover phone case & wallet (2 in 1 baby! priced at $4 read more

This Coach store is nice in terms of their location, the way it is set up, their selection of items, etc. Generally, they have a good selection and wide variety of items, and I particularly like their selection in jewelry. Where this store is lacking is their customer service. It feels as though they have to put forth a lot of effort to acknowledge you while in the store and half the time they ignore you. Additionally, there has now been two times that they have items that are not priced correctly. Not the signage, the actual tag on the item. When it was brought to their attention, I was first ignored, then when I questioned more, they told me they could not honor the price on the sticker. I've had a lot better experience at the Coach at Vieja's. I will go to that one exclusively as there always seems to be a problem when I give my business to this store. read more

I still have not received a call back (48 hours after the issue) so I called to speak to a Supervisor. Ryan tried to handle this situation correctly, but your operations process did not allow him to. I waited for 27 minutes for him to tell me that he could not get a Supervisor on the line. He kept making hold, telling me that he couldn't get a Supervisor on the line. He then started asking me to call back instead of holding. Knowing how a call center works, I explained that I would rather stay on the line so management would know how long the customer service call took. He then waited a few minutes and notified me that he was instructed to tell me that I had no other choice but to hang up, open another ticket and/or call back in an hour.
