Came here Valentine's Day. Parking and location - 5/5. The restaurant is sandwiched between restaurants, with lights on trees that light up at night time, making it a wonderful place to walk after dinner. Parking deck is conveniently located across the street from the restaurant. Indoor ambience - 3/5. The restaurant was packed and very loud, not just with the people but with the music as well such that it was difficult hearing the other talk. I liked the dimmed and colorful lighting, but it was quite loud. Covid safe - 2/5. Part of the crowdedness is there was little social distancing. Chairs between one table to another were not 6 feet apart, and sometimes two parties had to share a longer table, with 3 or 4 feet apart. Waiters wore masks though. Food quality - 4.5/5. The food was great! We got the laksa as well as sushi. The laksa didn't taste like authentic Singaporean laksa, but it was still very yummy and tasty. We were initially headed to Stir, but after being quoted a 3 hour wait for Sunday brunch, we needed to make a quick change of plans and headed across the street to Co. We were pleased to hear that they offer $1 mimosas as well and in a variety of flavors like mango, guava, etc. Unfortunately, none of them tasted like their flavors, just like regular mimosas which was odd. I ordered the crab rangoons to start and they were SO good. I find them to be overly sweet and cream-cheesy most of the time, but these were PERFECT! I then got the Vietnamese ramen which wasn't bad, but the broth could have packed more flavor. I added a ton of soy sauce and hot sauce to mine. My boyfriend got the hibachi which was pretty good but nothing spectacular. My sister got the banh mi which was surprisingly really good and trust me, we're very picky about our banh mi! My friend got the drunken noodles with shrimp which was also tasty as well. The waitress ended up messing up each of our receipts and charging us extra for things we didn't get like extra mimosas. We loved CO, it was delicious. My husband and I ended up choosing Co because we thought a wedding started earlier than it did so we had time to kill. I remember seeing a yelp post and how it was hot and new. When we pulled up you have the option of valet or there is a parking garage across the street; sadly it was raining so my husband dropped me off in the front and the valet guy walked me to the restaurant and my husband parking the deck. (The deck is connected to the capital grille). When I first walked into the restaurant I was immediately drawn in and it reminded me of a Florida restaurant that in winter park which was a great memory because that was one of my husband and I first dates. The restaurant is really modern with red and black throughout the place which to me makes it sexy. There is a long bar that would be pretty amazing during the night hours. We ended up ordering the Com CHIEN, dumplings and pork and grab egg rolls. And everything was delicious. My husband and I shared. Our server was really nice. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and made some awesome recommendation. We never had to ask for anything she right there. The other staff was also pretty amazing too. You can never go wrong with North Hills, but I loved the ambiance at CO and will definitely be back. I ordered the Old Fashioned which they did a great job making. The pineapple infused sake was also delish. The sushi with the tofu and seaweed salad was super fresh and I would recommend that for a light lunch. The curry was the perfect blend of sweet/savory but still with that "kick" you look for when eating curry. The outdoor patio setting was favorable for an evening out with friends or a date. My only complaint is they haven't actually had the 1/2 price sushi advertised when I've visited on those days. Good drink specials at times and ample outdoor seating though. Went there with a group and ordered from the North Hills Restaurant Week menu. Got the tuna taco to start, and that was delicious. Next course was the Kung Fu crunch roll, which was pretty good. For the main course, I got the chicken hibachi deluxe. The portion was big. The chicken tasted good, but the rice could use a little more flavor. Thankfully they had the Singapore hot sauce on the table to add a little kick to it. Overall, the food was quite decent, and prices are very reasonable. However, I can only give 3 stars because they were quite slow with the food. The whole dinner took 2 hours. Also, when we were in the middle of ordering our food, the server for our table walked off and disappeared for 10 minutes. I think she was impatient because some of us haven't entirely made up their minds on what to order. I understand that a busy night makes things hectic and stressful, but walking off while a customer is in the middle of putting their order in is kind of rude. read more

I had the beef and kimchi dumplings for an appetizer, curry laksa entree, which is a spicy chicken and shrimp noodle bowl with coconut based broth. For a drink, I had the lychee iced tea which was a refreshing taste and something different. The beef kimchi dumplings were a surprise, the flavors of the meat and kimchi pack a punch in the little dumpling, too bad you only get 4 per order. My curry laksa had just enough spice for the portion of noodle, soup, and meat. The noodles are a little thicker than what I like, but the soup was still delicious. I ordered this lychee martini...was impressed great drink: not too sweet or heavy. We ordered the tuna taki sushi, pork buns, korean bahnmi, and korean rice bowl. The sushi needed a little more attention to detail, just felt like it was falling apart...and leaking? Pork buns were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING i would go back just for those. Service needs a little work. I'm pretty pissed off about this whole experience, let's start at the beginning. I took my sister here for her birthday, and I specifically requested a quieter area of the restaurant. Instead, I was placed at a bar style seating arrangement next to a bunch of loud college students. The service was fine, pretty slow but the waitress was nice enough. We had to wait a significantly long time for our food, despite it being only noodle dishes. My sister ordered the spicy udon and I ordered the drunken noodles. First of all the drunken noodles were not the correct style of noodle, they were pad Thai noodles, and the sauce was incredibly sugary and sweet, which was the same case with my sisters sauce for her udon. On top of that they put parsley on the dish instead of cilantro?? what the actual fuck. They should just stick with small plates or have somebody who knows something about any kind of Asian cuisine working there, I was incredibly disappointed. On top of the fact that it was expensive for what we got. I wouldn't care if the food was good, but seeing as I paid $18 a dish for subpar noodles in a jarred sauce I am irritated. I have worked in the food industry as a chef for nearly 10 years, and I was hoping to have this be a memorable and fun experience for my sister and I, but it was quite the opposite. Maybe they should just stick with keeping this place a bar which is the more fitting setting for it anyway. read more

The summer rolls were fine, just a lot of lettuce which made them bulky and lacking in flavor. I ordered the spicy salmon crunch poke bowl and my husband ordered the Pad Thai with Shanghai sausage. The poke bowl was mostly rice and pickled carrots. The small amount of salmon on top was great- just not very much of it. The Pad Thai was very sweet and very saucy which I did not care for but my husband ate it anyway bc he refuses to waste food. The waitress was polite but you could tell the last thing she wanted to be doing on a Saturday afternoon was working. The restaurant decor was nice and everything was really clean. The music was very loud and the acoustics were such that we could hear the conversations of tables that were 20 feet away. I wanted to like this place. I really really did. I went for brunch and I was so excited about it. First, the food was really slow. I don't think that's normal, as the server was really apologetic and proactively took 10% off my check. So, that aside and assuming that isn't normal, the food was just really not good. I had the Banh Mi which sounded really good. It wasn't. The bread was just not right. Too much of it, not toasted, just not the right bread for the sandwich. So it just threw everything off. The steak in the sandwich was decent, but the eggs were not, and there weren't enough of them. The only saving grace was that I was quite hungover, so the massive amount of carby bread wasn't a terrible thing. I also got the sweet crepes. Potentially the worst crepe I've ever had. It was stone cold. Even if that was by design, the crepe was not a crepe. It was a rubbery, thick, nasty thing that I barely ate any of. It also didn't have any Nutella drizzle. Last but not least, they don't have hot coffee. Only iced. I was told they don't have a coffee machine. Not sure how you make iced coffee without a coffee machine, or why there would be a restaurant on the planet that doesn't have the ability to make coffee, especially one with a brunch menu, but there you go. The server was pleasant and helpful. This was a food miss all the way around. Maybe I just ordered badly... But both items were recommended. read more

We sat in the lounge area for 20 minutes and happened to see few empty tables! Host never came back to seat us until we went back to her and pointed out that there were empty tables! Our server was great and food was good. We loved the Crab Rangoon and hibachi deluxe. Husband liked his curry laksha but wasn't as good as currry in some other asian restaurants around.
