This was our 3rd time to CO, the first two the food was amazing, but the service wasn't the best. Tonight we sat on the patio and I was skeptical about how we would be served, but our server David was fantastic. Our food was out quickly and he gave us excellent recommendations. Food is pretty good but the service is beyond terrible! We have gone three times and each experience has been worse. The food was really delicious. We randomly came across CO on google I'm glad we went in. We got the beef and kimchi dumplings and they were awesome. I got the Curry Laksa and it was the perfect amount of spice - not too much but a definite bite. My fiancé got the Drunken Thai Noodles - and I think they might have been a bit better than mine, and I loved mine! A little spicier but still good flavor without overwhelming spice. Ive been wanting to try this place for a while, and today I finally went and was not disappointed! Drinks hit the spot after a long week of work, and the sushi was fresh AF! My friend and I were there for an early dinner. I ordered Laksa curry which was correct. My friend's dish was too salty and she ordered a salad instead. A server brought us our meals. She spilled some noodles on the floor and on our table. I moved my plate so she could see. She simply left. After a few mins I ask a server if s.o. could clean up the mess. She came back and dropped a napkin on the noodles. Not a word was said. Nobody apologized until we complained to our waiter who cleaned up the table. The manager comes over, Whats up? I said that's what's up... pointing to the noodles on the floor which, incidentally, nobody bothered removing. She said something too absurd to remember, having to do with not being able to clean after the customers left bc of covid. The wine glass my friend got, btw, was stale. We were told the replacement glass was a freshly opened bottle. I never felt so belittled in my 57 years eating out. And all it took was some badly trained staff and a very nonchalant manager... My intention writing this review is not to be hateful but to make restaurant owners aware that in these trying times you have to try harder. I heard good things about this place and may go back one day. Not anytime soon, though... I don't complain ever bc ppl can make mistakes but i felt very bad eating with some spilled noodles and nobody caring. read more

Pretty average fast food Asian - disguised as a real restaurant. Chicken shredded and placed on dishes, same with shrimp, curry's are the same for all meals. Nothing has been really cooked from scratch for your meal - it is just a sauce with stuff added on. Sushi is just average - not worth going here for sushi. Pho Real is much better and that is a chain!! read more

Great new addition to Waverly. Fresh sushi, yummy poke bowls and creative dishes and signature drinks. Bar can get crowded and there's no obvious place to wait for a table. CO should start accepting reservations especially on weekend nights. read more

Been there twice. First time we arrived at dinner rush so kitchen was a little slow. The restaurant had also just opened. Second time got there early and food arrived very quickly. In both cases, the meals were very good. We tried different meals each time to get a good overall sampling. The service was also good both visits especially considering we like to stagger our order. Here goes: Wait for table wasn't bad at 25 minutes on Friday night at 6:30. Bar has way too many stools. Seats do not rotate and because crammed so tightly in the small space that you have to pull it fully out into path of kitchen traffic and other waiting patrons. Worst part was the wait once you ordered. Once we flagged down someone asking about our order they appeared to remember at least part of our table - they brought out two dinners leaving the other half of table without food for another 10 minutes. Then brought out the third diner's food. I was the very last person to get my food after waiting another five minutes and I had raw sushi. Table next to ours experienced same thing. Food was ok but not fantastic. Noodles undercooked for the other folks in our party. Could tell my sushi roll had been sitting out for awhile. Manger brought my roll out apologizing giving us free desserts which we did not get. This visit was for a friend's birthday. Overall not worth the wait and just frustrating and embarrassing experience for us who chose to take her there to celebrate said birthday. Hope for their sake they get it together. read more

The food at CO is nothing less than superb! We especially like to go to happy hour Mon-Fri. We have been several times since they opened at Waverly. Like all new restaurants there are kinks to work out but you can tell the staff is working hard. CO has several locations. We have also been to the Park Road location. The most horrible experience I've had in a restaurant. The management/owner was just simply unprepared and shouldn't be in the hospitality industry. We had a party of 7 so expected a few delays but not to this caliber. We had to ask for table settings, silver and glasses of water. When we were finally served water, it was in styrofoam because they ran out of water cups and they didn't have ice in those cups. Appetizers arrived but had no flatware to eat them with so they were eaten cold. We literally waited 2 hours after ordering but to no avail. We were trying to be patient and not ruin a Friday night with friends. When we finally spoke to a manager, she told us that our meal was going to be given priority but then 2 of our party weren't served. Because no one was attending us, we tried to get the manager again, then had to go back to the bar area to find someone in charge. The owner literally told me to "go somewhere else if we didn't like it there." Well, that's what we'll do. I can take incompetence and chalk it up to new beginnings but I will not tolerate downright disrespectful and rude behavior, especially from the owner of the restaurant. We had a group of 7 women out to celebrate a bday. We weren't all able to show up at the same time and the young hostess (very professional) seated us at a great table anyway (I understand the reasoning but it's very frustrating when restaurants won't seat you until your entire party shows). We had a great server, Emma. Emma helped us choose cocktails and recommended appetizers which all turned out to be delicious. When it came time to order Emma recommended the quantity of sushi rolls we ordered (which was spot on) and helped us narrow down the many choices. Being 1/2 price sushi night, CO was packed. CO is lucky to have Emma. She spent plenty of time with our table, didn't rush us, was courteous & patient (7 women who don't get out much!), and didn't seem flustered at all on such a busy night. So interesting you can go to the same restaurant on the same night and other reviewers have a completely different experience. Went to Co on Friday night (10/6/17). Not sure if they take reservations, but we didn't have one. There was a 20 minute wait- no biggie- we went to the bar and had a drink. Service at the bar was good! Within the 20 minute time frame we were seated. All good so far:) . We started with another round of drinks and they gyoza. Everything came out promptly and was delicious! From here is when things went south. We ordered another order of gyoza and after waiting about 15-20 minutes with no order showing up, our waiter says they are now out of the gyoza. Really? At that point we ordered another drink another appetizer to replace the gyoza that they were out of. After about 15 minutes the appetizer comes out, but no drinks. We flag our waiter down and he says he is working on getting our drinks out. Another 20 minutes later, our food comes out, but still no drinks. We are halfway through our dinner and I decide to go inside myself, go to the bar and see what the holdup was. No really good explanation other than they were out of the wine we wanted. Huh? That seemed to do the trick and I was promptly served the drinks we ordered 45 minutes prior. I don't know if it was just an inexperienced waiter who was over his head or the restaurant wasn't prepared for the crowd, but they need to get it together. The worst service I've ever had! We had to ask for water three different times. Two of us got the drunken noodles which tasted like sticky dry noodles with vinegar. When we politely brought this up to the waitress and asked for a different dish she goes "I just can't give free food away I have to talk to the manager" um what!?!? We didn't ask for free food we just asked for a different dish. She came back rolled her eyes and said " he said he'll do it" Then it took them 25 min to bring us our new dishes. When the manger brought us our food he said "I apologize for the delay we just had to get other orders out before yours" towards the end of the meal. It took the waitress 15 min to bring us our checks and another 10 min to bring them back. The food was bad, the service was horrible. Waitress had a terrible attitude, condescending all night. Awful service for pickup. Placed a takeout order at 6pm for a big party at home and were told that it will be ready in 45 mins. When we showed up to pickup the food, we were told that someone else picked up the food and all I get is - sorry, We are working on your order and it will be ready as soon as possible. Another 30 mins go by, and no sign on food. If the restaurant can't handle this much traffic then they shouldn't take the order to begin with. No QC on order pickups. Awful service and pretty rude manager. Don't go there and expect a good service. Restaurant needs good management and good service folks, this is Waverly and people expect service. They couldn't even offer any discounts or apologies for the mistake.
