They are now light and fluffy. My only gripe? The estimator, while very pleasant, ghosted my follow up question like a teenager avoiding chores. Also, despite my very specific request to contact my husband on paint day, they still called me--maybe they just missed my voice? That said, the quality of work was so impressive that I can forgive the slight communication hiccups. Would I hire them again? Absolutely. Would I bet money on the estimator replying to my follow up questions next time? Let's just say I'm not a gambler.

We worked with Mark and his team to get our house painted and it was honestly a really great…read moreexperience. The house had not been painted since before we bought it 10 years prior, and the paint it had on it when we bought was already not great.we had a ton of dry rot, sections poorly filled with bondo by the prior owner, and old termite damage that had been filled with bondo. We did our due diligence and got several quotes. The painting quote itself was in line with most of the quotes we got, not the cheapest, but definitely not the most expensive. However a few things really stood out to me. First, All of the other quotes seemed to not actually include the cost of any of the fascia boards being replaced. 1 quote wouldn't touch them, 2 others said they would but on the actual quotes it just said "repair and fill with bondo". Mark was the only one who was straight forward. He said " look, idk what it's gonna be exactly and we won't know till we power wash, but in my experience based on what I'm seeing, you should budget an extra X amount for just wood replacement." When I called and asked the other companies I got quotes from that would repair paint they were weirdly cagey on this. In the end, we did infact need more wood replaced than what was originally planned for but the final product was well worth it. Which takes me to the other point. When it came time to finalize exactly what pieces needed to come down and the extra cost of the unplanned rotted wood, he gave us options. Options that included places we could forgoe a change in one area to balance the cost of the wood replacement in another. He didn't try to sell us on anything unnecessary, or weirdly extravagant either. He gave recommended paint colors based on what he painted his own house and gave advice on how to best pick the colors we wanted. Once we got into the project his team took over and were a pleasure to work with. They were hyper responsive to texts and calls and questions, and fixed things or helped adjust stuff as needed. For example we wanted a very specific color for the front door (Tardis Blue) and they got it custom matched for us. A few small places where I noticed something that needed a quick adjustment that I called or texted them for was fixed the next time I looked. They moved all of our outdoor furniture, grills, etc and put everything back exactly as it was when they started. They didn't leave any trash or mess as is often the case with multi day home reno projects. In all, the project took 2 days longer than originally anticipated but we had more work than anticipated. All in all, the experience was good enough for us that we ended up hiring them to do some painting of our interior doors that we just had replaced, and we'll likely keep them in mind the next time we need any painting.

BEWARE! You need a Yelp review to get this guys attention! I waited 3 years for Gary to fix the job…read morehis guys did. I called Gary plenty during that time and the fix was always 2 months out. Now he's trying to blame his staff (not a sub contractor-but why would that matter anyway? Gary took the job and Gary took the money so this is Gary's job). When I refused to take down this review until he did the work He acted like a toddler and said "No one uses Yelp anymore, my other 5 star reviews will carry me! He also said a phone call would have fixed it, so the calls I made over 3 YEARS weren't good enough but one now that I did a REVIEW would have done the trick! Sure Bud) Backstory: I hired Gary in 2023. His staff did not prep my cabinets properly. Paint was chipping and peeling within a week. I called several times. Gary was going to send someone to fix it, more than once, but it was always 60 days out before they could come. No one every called or came. I finally gave up and hired someone to come fix it. He said the only way to truly fix it was to sand down the cabinets and repaint. He fixed what he could without a complete redo. There are many places where the paint is soft, which is where, if they had sanded my original 20 year old finish, it would be fine. There was a problem with the color as Gary purchased the paint from a different vendor which was a lighter color. I paid for another round of paint and labor so I really feel ripped off. Now he has insulted me via text and private message, trying to bully me into taking down a Yelp review! Gross!

I later hired a professional deep cleaner who confirmed that the paint was everywhere and said she could not get it off. When I asked the painter to return and clean up what his crew had left behind, he refused, blamed the problem on the condo being dirty before they arrived, and handed me a razor blade so I could scrape it off myself and quickly left--not even an apology. The crew initially had my permission to use the air conditioner. However, once my HOA notified me that it was leaking into my downstairs neighbor's unit, she asked the crew to turn it off. They reportedly refused to listen to her and would not help her contact me, potentially allowing further water damage to occur. Mistakes can happen, but the lack of cleanup and accountability afterward was unacceptable. I was left with the distinct impression that because my condo was only 830 square feet--and therefore not one of their larger, more profitable jobs--my concerns were not worth their time once they had been paid. After spending $5,300, I should not have been left hiring another professional to clean up their paint or scraping my own floors and countertops with a razor blade. I would not hire this company again.
