The not so great was the lobby concession area was a hot mess. Burnt popcorn being sold-like you not only could smell it, but see it on the kettle corn in the case. The floor was a mess, straw wrappers and popcorn and some guy added to it by dropping his alcohol drink and it spilled all over the floor and splashing up on me as I'm waiting for some pretzels to get made. (A worker wiped it up with his foot and a couple Sham-Wow cloths.) So the kid waiting on me took forever putting on his plastic gloves, shuffled over to make the pretzels, then stops, walks away-had no idea where. I figured I'd grab some water at the drink station. There's usually clear cups for water, but last night no cups. So I thought they either ran out or just use the soda cups. I grabbed a the middle cup. I was thirsty, small wasn't going to cut it. Hubby goes to pay while I go back to wait for the pretzels. Two boxes get put up for a lady, but no, those are chicken wings orders. The kid suddenly remembers the pretzels he took out of the freezer. Seconds later he hands me a box. The box was cold but it didn't register with me because at that moment my hubby says they charged him $7.00 for my cup of water. He said "fountain water is free I thought?" The kid said "yeah, but only in the clear cups, (which there weren't any) so I have to charge you for the cup." We go to our seats, my seat won't recline back. The feet part came out but the back was straight up and down. My hubbies leaned back, my friend to my right's did too. But not mine. I take a deep breath, it's ok. I'll enjoy my pretzels. Open the box, pick one up, it's frozen. Like rock solid frozen. I can't make this stuff up. So I walk back down to the concessions and a nice manager lady noticed me approaching. I said these are frozen. She grabbed the box and picked one up, she was like omg! These weren't even cooked! She went around to the prep area and showed a couple kids-one was the one that messed up the order. He didn't say a word to her. He just stood there. The other girl jumped into action with her manager because they were behind on pretzel orders. I got my pretzels fast. Rushed back to my non reclining seat and enjoyed them. But this is why I go to Kenwood.

I was not "Alone A Drive In Movie" and came with a friend who sat in lawn chairs with me. We shared snacks and had a great time. There was no "Grease" in the bathrooms and they were pretty clean. There's an old timey feel to them and the rest of the place, like you're stepping back in time to watch a movie with Danny & Sandy. Plenty of people came out to see the show and I hope they continue to do so for many more years to come!

Tried finding an attendant but could not find the guy on the golf cart that drives around checking on things. Literally could not hear the movie and it totally ruined the experience for us and others around us. It also smelled like weed coming from that car also. Not saying it's managements fault entirely, but they need to do a better job at going around at checking on things. Wife and me normally have a good time coming here, but that was uncalled for an inconsiderate. I'm a big tall dude, I didn't want to go up to them and have a fight break out because they would likely be intimidated by me. This was as of June 20, 2026. It takes one @ssho(e to ruin a cinematic experience like that. I get that that night was sold out, but please do a better job.

Ordering tickets and choosing our seats online was quick and easy. The theater itself was very small - about 30 seats. The recliners were comfy and even were heated, if you wanted. It's a smaller establishment, with a nice vibe. The concession stand was right as you walk in, and looked more like a candy store and then through another set of doors, they had a nicely stocked bar and lots of seating and tables in a very nice lounge area. The whole place, including the restrooms was clean and well taken care of. It is quite a drive for us, but I will definitely keep an eye open for special events like the one we went to. We really enjoyed it!

I really appreciated the local sourcing, like the Silverglades chicken salad, Montgomery Inn pulled pork, Avril Bleh brisket, fish with Frisch's tarter sauce, and United Dairy Farmers ice cream. 2) The wait staff was prompt - whenever I pressed the button to summon them someone arrived at my seat quickly to take an order or bring refills. 3) I received exactly what I ordered. My husband on the other hand was the recipient of a number of things that he did not order - those were promptly taken away when he summoned staff and told them of the issue - and he never received the popcorn that he did order. 4) The chicken sandwich was fine - nothing special, but I have no complaints about it. I didn't care for the fries, I prefer shoestring fries and these were too chunky for me. 5) I learned that I don't like eating in the dark. I prefer to be able to see what I'm eating.

Jacob makes the absolute BEST grilled chicken sandwiches in the tristate! I literally come here from an hour away weekly because of these 2! Our local locations are terrible and I have begged them to get closer to me lol. The seats are comfy, though more like racing seats instead of recliners. The theaters are clean and generally in good condition, the bathrooms are usually clean and in good repair as well. I've been coming to the Milford theater for over 20 years, and my family has made countless…read morememories here. We've always loved supporting our local theater, which is why it's disappointing to see some of the recent changes. We were excited to come for the opening weekend of *Spider Man*, and the experience was frustrating from the moment we arrived. The new concession system created extremely long lines, and it appears that all food orders now have to be placed at the main concession stand. In the past, I always ordered meals from the side concession stands, which made perfect sense since I wasn't purchasing popcorn. On our visit, I planned to order cheeseburgers, chicken tenders and fries for the kids, and mozzarella sticks. When I went to the side concession stand, the menu screens were turned off, the registers were covered, and signs directed everyone to the already packed main concession line. The area looked closed, and there was no way to order food there anymore. This new process does not feel like an improvement. Instead of having separate lines based on what customers are purchasing, everyone is forced into one enormous line. Customers buying a full meal should not have to wait behind everyone buying popcorn and drinks just to place an order. Previously, I could quickly order my meal, receive a buzzer, enjoy the previews, and pick up my food when it was ready. Now, I have to wait in a very long line just to get the buzzer before waiting again for the food. Due to not wanting to miss the beginning of the movie, I ended up skipping food altogether. That is revenue the theater lost, and it was not because I did not want to buy dinner. I simply could not justify standing in such a long line. I've noticed during my last couple of visits over the past month that the theater seems to be heading in the wrong direction. These changes may have been intended to simplify operations, however, from a customer's perspective, they have made the experience much less enjoyable. I truly hope this is temporary or that the policy is reconsidered. Otherwise, my family will likely start eating at places like Red Robin, Wendy's, or Gold Star before coming to the movies. I would much rather continue buying our meals inside the theater, as we always have. I want to continue supporting this theater because it has been a special place for my family for decades. My children have grown up coming here, and we have always enjoyed spending our evenings here. However, forcing every customer into one massive concession line, regardless of what they are ordering, is frustrating, inefficient, and takes away from the overall experience. I sincerely hope management listens to customer feedback and brings back the convenience of ordering meals at the side concession stands. Loyal customers notice these changes, and I would hate to see such a great local theater lose the community support it has built over the years.
