I loved to visit Parky's farm as a kid, and the charm still definitely remains a generation later!…read moreI believe that the farm has been renamed to Winton Woods Equestrian Center, which is how you will find it on the map. There's so much to see and do here! It's beautiful for a walk or for a fun adventure for little kids. When you visit, I would highly recommend walking back through the petting zoo area to the garden/farm. There is a lovely lake, a large windmill, and several labeled garden beds. There is even an apiary area where you can see honeybees in action! There is nice garden seating (picnic tables and smaller tea tables) so bringing a picnic is wonderful here as long as you don't mind bringing your food out to the garden. The plants and crops grown in the garden are not for picking, but it's really neat for kids to see all of the vegetables and fruits and herbs growing to learn about pollination! The animals are well cared for and are often active either out in their yards or in the barn. There are over 20 horses at this equestrian center, and you can often spot them out in the pasture or giving lessons or pony rides. I have not paid for the paid attractions like pony rides, but there are helpful staff ready to assist if you are interested. The playground here is a lot of fun - there are slides of varying sizes and my toddler was having a blast exploring! We also find the entire park very clean and well-maintained each time. Finally, I've attended a program with my elementary students at Parky's Farm for several years past and the staff do such a great job teaching kids about farm life and different aspects of the farms operation, like weather patterns or animal and plant needs. I would highly recommend any of the programming that the great park staff facilitates here. Park's farm is such a hidden gem and is a wonderful institution of outdoor fun and education!

Baby K had fun, and there were plenty of kids there. A nice experience, but too far out of the way to be worth coming back for us. If you're in Wilmington or even Cinci, probably worth it.

A working farm and store, open to public tours and events…read more We attended a wedding reception at Gorman Heritage Farm just north of Cincinnati, and we loved the farm! There are animals to visit and a small store with eggs, honey, produce, pasture-raised chicken, other local foods, fresh-cut flowers, and various books, clothing, and merchandise. For our event, they put up a huge tent, so we had breezy shaded dining. This was next to another covered structure, for a breezy shaded dance-floor. And there was a food-truck bar as well. In all, a clever use of their space for a fun comfortable event. We had access to their farm for self-tours, and i think there were guided tours and feedings, too, but we walked ourselves among and petted and brushed and fed the humped mini "zebu" steer, non-wooly Katahdin sheep, goats, mini horses, a mini donkey, mules, about six of rabbits of different kinds, and chickens. And beehives! We were there for a special event. The Gorman Heritage Farm is open to the public Mon-Sat for under $8 per person. Come see fun farm animals and products!

Corn maze was fun and luckily not filled with crazies even close to halloween time. Ordered 2 hot ciders, a soft pretzel, a slice of pumpkin pie and an apple dumpling. The honest answer is NOTHING! It was ironically dead this year and VERY underwhelming. Felt taken advantage of and won't be back. Save your money and go elsewhere for a much better experience. I can understand charging an adult $3-5 each but a family of five was $70 and includes NOTHING! Buyer Beware

For 20 balls, it is $2.00. You just check in at the front desk to pay, and they give you tokens. They have several different options and varying speeds. You can choose to practice hitting for softball or baseball. This complex also has an area for indoor soccer. You can be a part of their leagues. This is for people of all ages. They have a small snack bar outside of the courts. There is also an area when you first enter the facility that is for personal training. There are coaches helping people become better for various sports, as well as weights for strength training.

Wall2Wall Soccer says its "Ohio's Finest Soccer Facility," and while I don't know what the rest of…read morethe state has to offer, I do know that it's the best in the Cincinnati area. The Wall2Wall Sports Complex in Mason has an arcade, a large concession stand with plenty of tables and chairs, softball (35 and 45 mph) and baseball (35, 45, 55, and 65 mph) batting cages, and it also hosts lacrosse, ultimate Frisbee, dodge ball, and flag football events and opportunities, but soccer is really what it's all about. Wall2Wall has three indoor soccer fields, two which are regulation size and one that is a lot smaller. I had several friends in high school who played soccer, a few of which even play Division I NCAA soccer now, and they all played at Wall2Wall during the winter. They have the best facilities around, and they offer great high school-level, adult, and youth leagues (11v11, 8v8, 7v7, 6v6) during the winter and summer, as well as the All Star Soccer Academy youth camps and the Sunday Coed league (2 girls + 3 guys + goalie) during the summer. The fields are in great shape, and the place really is wall to wall soccer as they have Wallbangers (like Fat Head posters) of top footballers Wayne Rooney, Thierry Henry, and Ronaldinho, among others throughout the complex. This weekend they will be holding the annual David Fulcher All Pro Youth Football Camp, while in August, Major League Lacrosse star Joe Walters will run a lacrosse camp. Wall2Wall is also a great place for a birthday party, and it is also the home of the Ignition premier sports-specific training program and the Tristate Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center. Wall2Wall clearly isn't just about soccer, as they offer so many other great sports and games. If you are looking to play indoor soccer, however, than this is definitely the best place around.

Boo. Yes. Well,…read morethat about sums it up because the first rule about Nightmare Manor is that you don't talk about Nightmare Manor. The second rule is "see rule number one". I'll do it like this: Is it scary? If that's what you like and you get scared, then yes. It is. If you're not easily scared and you like haunted houses for what they are, you will have a great time. Is the decor good? it is fantastic. Are the people good? Absolutely. They do a phenomenal job. Make up and costumes are great. How cool of a job would that be?!?!? Is it worth the money? Absolutely. If I remember correctly, it does take 15 to 20 minutes to get through it. They do space people out so you're not shoved up against, or being shoved by, a bunch of strangers. Would I go back? Totally. This is great fun every year. I'd suggest getting there early though. The line, although it moves steady, can get long and the wait can be quite long. Can't tell you how long because we always try to get there as early as possible. I would not say that this is exactly an "accessible" place for wheelchairs, scooters, etc. I could be wrong, but I know there would be some challenging areas for those types of accessibility aides.
