This place is losing its regular customers the new owner is very picky and doesn't want anyone with any medical conditions to enter this dive cause if you fall or hurt yourself you will be banned. And for the bartender Dawn she is a B-t-h! If you don't tip her over $20 she will ignore you and serve you when she is ready and for the food well it's over priced and not all that I've had better. I used to be a regular till I seen what was going on so from now on I hang out at the Cottage were they have live bands on which the common inn is too dam tight too buy a entertainment permit. C'mon Inn doesn't look like much from the outside... or the inside, to be honest... but the beer is cold, the crowd is lively, the owner and staff are friendly, and the wings are incredible! In fact, that was the main reason for our visit: the wings came HIGHLY recommended. We made a big order to go and absolutely devoured them. No matter the flavor you choose these wings will have your tastebuds singing show tunes! Outstanding job with these! While we waited for said wings we had a beer and just hung out. If anyone says to you hey, C'mon Inn, immediately decline!! What a totally underwhelming, unpleasant, and unprofessional experience. I have had easily a dozen lunch experiences that have been acceptable - excellent food and decent bartenders. Stopped in for their 17th week of football and am expecting the same pleasant and friendly experience that we have had during the day. Sad to say the absolute opposite appears to be the standard in the evening. Highly disappointed!! Bartender Melissa was inattentive and NOT friendly at all. Had to flag her down to get her attention, and right from the start she had an unwelcoming demeanor, was visibly irritated and impatient. It was fairly busy and she had no idea what was going on, and had no problem in projecting that so you were made to feel like a huge inconvenience and were bothering her. Then Little Boy Manager comes around, and is also rude, pretentious, and snotty. Now I see why Melissa's incompetence and attitude are allowed. It is coming right from him, setting such a poor exanple. I am sorry but are customers not the reason that you are in business??? While it might be advertised as a 'family' owned place, but they sure don't treat ya like family - unless you are accustomed to an obnoxious, dysfunctional, and toxic one. Because that is the atmosphere and environment they were serving up. I would never allow my family to treat me with the disrespect that these two clowns gave me/us while we were there. If ya need a bar back or a third bartender to manage the crowd in a timely and acceptable manner, well, then hire one!! Absolutely ridiculous!! The couple next to me had to actually stand up and wave their arms initially, or their empty glasses later, each and every time they tried to even get some kind of acknowledgement and attention. The only good thing was the food and the guy who handles that business was great! Accommodating, and on top of things, unlike the bar staff!! Then when we try to order another round of drinks, we are told that they are too busy to make them. What?? Is that not the actual job of a bartender?? To make drinks? So, you can only get served if they can just pop a top, or pull a draught? Anything else is just too much effort and work for y'all??? Incredible!! Then when we get the bill, the numbers don't add up. Their $6 specials are only if you explicitly state that?? What a bait and switch!! If not illegal, that is absolutely shady!! Double check the prices you are charged! Then either the bartender lied or the boss baby is, because he then says we need to leave for cussing at the staff. What the....??? Not One Swear Word Was Said. The check was asked for after we were told they couldn't make drinks. The total was questioned as the math was NOT matching. That was IT. You get called out, and then you think you can intimidate and bully us by claiming something was said when it absolutely was NOT?? You lying piece of human excrement. My first time in and Dawn, the so-called "Bar Tender", blatantly acted like a rude bitch... We made eye contact as I stepped to the bar with my empty glass, and I even raised it in casusl confirmation that I was looking or a refill, yet she tastelessly ignored me, stepped to the corner of the bar, and proceeded to sit and chat with others who were apparently Regulars, totally disregarding me. Being new, I politely commented and notioned to her at least three times before another Regular spoke up for me and finally got her to do her job, but in doing so, she then poured 3 beers for a few others before getting to me. Mind you, there were, like, 6 people at the bar; it was fairly dead. This was the shittiest, most unpleasant, unprofessional Hospitality "Customer Service" experience I've ever had. Went in yesterday June 6, 2023 around 6 pm with a group of 5. Gabi the bar tender refused to take one of our groups ID from AZ. She insisted on scanning on here phone with some app to determine if it was valid. When she couldn't get that to work, she then tried to call her boss. At this time, four of us had drinks, but she still had not served one. Also, he was the only person of color in the bar. Gabi was not very friendly about this and seemed more interested in proving that he was not of age to drink. Mind you he's 29 with a full on beard. I've been here a couple of times and never really been super impressed with anything about the place, but this time my visit gave me a whole new impression. I can't help but feel there was a racist vibe happening to my friend. Anyway, we went to the Cottage Tap and spent our money there. If you want a hole in the wall neighborhood bar, with pool, jukebox, and slot machines- come here. If you are looking for clean bathrooms, food, or a variety of alcohol- don't bother. This place is a bar that needs a facelift but my assumption is the slot machines keep them afloat and they don't care about ambiance. Small diner that serves up standard fare. Stopped by for lunch but ate breakfast and it was good. They had a board with the days specials but even menu items were not expensive.
