He had already ordered a grilled chicken wrap which was served with French Fries. It was fantastic, complimented with lettuce tomato and onion. Rob was drinking a Miller Lite bottle while I had a Tito's lemonade. The pizza was 1/2 off tonight, however I decided to try the Brisket pizza which is considered a specialty pizza so I didn't receive it for 1/2 off, but I didn't care I wanted to try it. It was awesome it was thin crust and I was so excited that I had leftovers. The establishment was clean, along with the bathroom. I was impressed with the service and greeted right when I walked in the door. The crowd was small, however everyone knew each other since they were regulars. I will be returning. It was a wonderful experience for a first time visitor, I live in WI and this place was worth the drive. They have many specials during the week which make the drive worth it. Friday is all you can eat fish fry with a choice of beer battered, baked cod, or sea bass. I had a wonderful Sunday afternoon here. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I met Lisa the owner who suggested adding the wonderful stingin' honey garlic sauce to Rob's chicken wrap. Once Lisa left for the day, Donna took over and she met our every need.

I get the bill and there is a $5 take out fee on my bill. This has not happened before that I noticed. The bartender said the owner saw you order it and said to add that charge because I didn't eat over half the pizza. What the f&@":$&:@!!!!! Are you serious? Bye Loony's you permanently lost my business and my friends business that has never been there before. That fee was not posted anywhere. Or I would've ordered a small.

We have dined here on several occasions, and it does seem to improve with age, particularly as a neighborhood destination for drinks. In warmer months, the rooftop is a genuine asset--an inviting spot for a pre-dinner cocktail or a relaxed evening out. On our most recent visit, a cold evening, we were seated immediately, a welcome efficiency that set a positive tone. The dining room's very high ceilings, while attractive, do contribute to a chill during winter months, making the atmosphere less cozy than one might hope on such nights. Service, however, was attentive and efficient throughout the meal. The bar continues to be a strong point. A well-made martini impressed my wife and was fully consistent with our prior experiences here. The French onion soup stood out as a comforting and well-executed choice, particularly satisfying on a cold night. Entrées were solid and competently prepared, though ultimately unremarkable--good, but not memorable. Overall, this is a restaurant that delivers dependable food and service without striving for distinction. While the kitchen does not reach for the extraordinary, the drinks alone make it a worthwhile stop, especially when paired with the rooftop in summer or a well-crafted cocktail at the bar year-round.
