Took our truck for a state inspection. They called to say the horn didn't work, and that they could install a new one for $250. My husband is handy, and told them to put the fail sticker on it, and ordered the OEM horn online for $50 to replace himself. He went to go pick up the truck and in the parking lot the horn worked as it always has. FORD did a "vehicle check up" where it passed with all green checks. Including the horn. The date on their multipoint inspection and the state inspection are the same. My husband went back inside where 5-6 people continued to honk the horn inside, outside all around. The horn worked. Dave said he was mistaken, the horn DID work but was "distorted". I took the truck to Menikee and explained my situation to 2 of their state inspectors who said they would have passed it and suggested I contact the Ford's sales manager and a state trooper. When I called for a resolution, the receptionist seemed to be familiar with the situation and placed me on a long hold while I waited to speak to the service manager "Miss Jesse". When she got on the phone, she told me a THIRD story that one of the 2 horns on the truck needed to be replaced, she couldn't do anything to help me, I'd have to come back the next morning to speak to whoever inspected the truck. She could not explain why on the FORD inspection the horn passed, but the state inspection did not. The interaction seemed defensive, she spoke over me saying repeatedly that she "wasn't done talking." As someone who prides themselves on customer service, relations and resolutions, I was in disbelief. I got in contact with the safety division of the State police who sent a trooper out to our house to confirm that our truck horn works. The trooper went to the dealership and spoke to Jesse, and then texted us and let us know we were free to take the truck back to have a passing sticker put on. 1:45 on a Monday all managers were real scarce. I won't be dealing with CMA FORD in Williamsburg again. The Virginia State Police Safety Division 757-925-2432

I am getting tires and rotors resurfaced. I really liked seeing that it's more than just about servicing and selling cars here. They are doing a really cool bike donation event benefiting the boys and girls clubs of America. Well done!

Salesman, Stuart Young and Business Manager, Nick Savalle did a great job assisting in the purchase of my new 2024 Ford F150. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from CMA Williamsburg Ford and I'm verifying satisfied with the Sales and Service Teams.

Then this year January, 2024 Casey who I go to to complete the annual inspection (no charge). Charged me for the inspection. That's okay. I can take that. They passed the brakes which I could tell I was down to the metal (sound). They found another problem on the steering column. Just the steering column was somewhere around $2,600. They showed me the area while the car was on the lift. Okay. We discussed the rear brakes and added that $500 to the cost of service. I did neither. They did replace a burnt out bulb in the front. I decided I would have a second opinion before I decided on this repair. At the checkout desk I was (for the first time) shown a bill with an added 5% charge if I used my credit card. Never having had that charge I was surprised. I didn't have a check with me nor that much cash. I paid it accepting the charge. I felt I had no choice. I was a little steamed. I have always had a distrust with car dealerships. Casey had always been helpful in the past. But, the 5% took me over the fence. Last fall I drove the new Toyota Rav 4 @ Casey. The Honda CR-V @ a Honda dealer in Williamsburg. The Subaru Forester at the Casey dealer in Newport News. With this expense on my 14-15 year old car I decided now in January '24 to purchase a new car. I did not feel comfortable with either the Toyota nor the Honda. These cars did not have enough power for me. I found a dealership in South Chesterfield, VA, CMA'S Colonial Subaru. A bit of a trip but I found a comfort level (older woman in my 70's, widowed) that appealed to me within a short time. My salesman Willie Lingenfelter took the time to listen to what I was looking for. Let me drive 3 different models - Forester, Solterra and the Outback LTD. The Outback LTD turbo for me had the power I was after. The style, leather interior, room, comfort. Oh, and a satisfactory price that I was comfortable with. All the checks I needed were there. I purchased an extra 7 year front to back warranty that Subaru offers. Every single person I met through this experience was polite, friendly and helpful. This was an exciting experience for me. A new car. I loved my Venza but it was time. I received a very fare trade in. Casey here in Williamsburg with it's new charges added to the uncertainty I had developed. This IS A VERY PERSONAL experience. But I thought I would share it in a review so if anyone else experiences similar feelings about the Casey dealerships they can make up their own mind. Talk to others. Read other reviews. That what I do. Good luck!

I went back to American Pride Automotive, with the rusted worn condenser and asked for a refund of the $276. misdiagnosis and repair that they claimed to have provided and the Service Director could not for the life of him admit to his businesses failure. So, I gave him and honest chance to save a customer and instead has lost any chance at our business, but for $276 he's bought a lifetime of bad advertising for American Pride Automotive to all our family and friends. I looked at the other reviews for this business and see it's a pattern.... that's a shame.

I recently relocated to Williamsburg and in the midst of packing up and selling my home, I lost sight of my car inspection. It was already over due. I called American Pride and they were able to get me in the same day and even helped me get back and forth to my hotel from drop off to pick up. I am a widow and often get hit up for 'added repairs and services'...(I think being a woman dealing with car things, makes me a target). Given some of the other reviews here, I was a little worried that would be the case. They couldn't have been more kind, were courteous and no added 'recommended services or repairs' were pushed onto me. Just a passed state inspection and ready to go. Thank you American Pride. I wanted others to know, that I DID have good experience and didn't get the usual hit up for add ons.

I've had several repairs done to my 2017 Silverado which have been not repaired correctly or charged for repairs which weren't needed in the first place. I had a front and rear diff service completed and less than an hour from picking my truck up the rear diff was leaking. I was advised by a manger that it was residual oil, only for him to change his tune and apologies that the rear diff was leaking and had to be re-sealed again. Mind you they had the truck for over 7 hours on a Friday and then I had to come back the next day for it to be fixed. I then came back for a standard oil change which went fine, and I was told I need my front brakes replaced soon. I had my front pads and rotors replaced; both lower control arms and my left front wheel bearing. I asked for my old parts back only to find my front pads to be close to 55% worn. I brought this up to manager Rio once again about feeling deceived on needing a brake repair that wasn't warranted. These repairs were completed back in Oct of 2025 Since then I've brought my truck back several times for a clunk noise that wasn't present after the front lower control arms were replaced. I was lied to several times that the repair was fixed only to drive the truck literally out of the parking lot to have it make the same clunk noise. In Jan the dealership had my truck for one day less then a month. When I came to pick my truck up I found the windshield had a huge crack through the entire windshield. I vented my frustration only to be told by another manager James Bridge that I was a liar and that the damage was present when I dropped off my truck. I told him to please check the cameras, he then stated they don't have any. He then proceeded to give me a walk around paper stating the damage was there...but guess what where my signature it wasn't there and it wasn't a drop off because they gave me a loaner.... I can only assume the dealership was attempting to pull another fast one. I ended up speaking with the GM who told me they were going to take care of the windshield. I then brought my truck my again for the windshield and suspension clunk noise for its 5th (repair/fix) while I was there other customer was venting how she bought a certified used car which was more like a lemon rattled with issues for being a certified used car that she had owned it for less than 2 weeks. During my visits I never once used fowl language or yelled. I did vent my concerns and frustrations to the service department as one would with these concerns Only to have the manager James Bridge very sternly and angerly tell me once the windshield was replaced I was no longer welcome to the dealership and they were not going to look into my cluck issue since there isn't a safety concern with it, even after James even helped my advisor write up the concern, the adviser was completely apologetic at the way he handled the situation and had no clue where that came from. If you take your vehicle here be prepared to be gas lit about repairs that are not needed, damage to your vehicle that wasn't there and if you vent your frustration you'll be asked not to come back. If you need an oil change and a tire rotation sure but for major issues stay away.
