For the rental price of the "Gentrified" apartments that CLV Group is managing you should get more for your money. This morning had yet another disagreement with the building manager of my building, let's call him D. D really, really, hates me and makes a point of making that clear. I am a nasty bitch who dares to stand up for herself and thinks she deserves a clean and well managed building. I believe this includes water that is not red or brown, HEAT in winter and NO DOG SHIT staining the carpets or piling on the flooring. I know that you cannot control the tenants, especially re DOG SHIT, because of the expense involved in evicting people who do not believe that other human beings have rights. I am well aware of the difficulty of this task. So when you actually have tenants who are on your side about cleanliness and other such items why be so antagonistic? It has to do with the GENTRIFICATION. I stood in the way and fought CLV when they "threatened" and "intimidated" other tenants who were living off poverty level wages or disability incomes. Some of them stayed and are still in this building and are the cleanest, quietest and most polite neighbours you could ask for. So today's "disagreement"? DOG SHIT, which D stepped on and said he didn't even see, which is the excuse for the cleaners not seeing it for over 3 months. Yeah, I left the piece of shit there and did not say anything about it for 3 months to see how long the SHIT stayed in the stairwell. 3 months!!! D called me a liar to my face, as usual. To say that he has issues with mysogyny is to be redundant, because CLV seems to only hire sexist A-HOLES that do not believe women should be respected. Last month D sent me an e-mail about some repairs to be done in my apartment, I had a leak in my sink pipes. Believe me when I say I loath asking them to do any repairs because they are disgusting in their methods and will always find a way to insult. In the email D said "you pick the date". So I said I chose the Friday. No reply received. Friday arrived and I sat all day wondering when D would show up. He never showed up, and never sent any email to explain why he DID NOT SHOW UP. Absolutely NO COMMUNICATION SKILLS within this group. COMMUNICATION is something that starts at the top and is enforced on it's way down. Also, you should never expect your employees to remember things. Get someone, preferably someone who knows real words and not just emojis, who know how to write a manual for your employees so that you don't have to keep reteaching them the same things. When your employees say they will be there on the date that a tenant can select then it is up to your employee to make sure that proper communication about the outstanding issue is maintained. I have just USED 20 minutes of my life because CLV GROUP employees DO NOT WANT TO RESPECT TENANTS and do the work. D - No matter how many excuses and lies and insults you throw at me, you will be long gone and 10 more just like you and I will still be fighting people like you. D - YOU ARE THE 20TH BUILDING MANAGER IN AS MANY YEARS FOR THIS ONE BUILDING... too bad that CLV doesn't want to do anything more than take in the money and hire the cheapest, least experienced, or inexperienced people it can find. read more

The worst place to live. It is not worth your time, money, mental health, nothing. We have rented from CLV Group for 10 months, and have been counting down our last day since the first month. You can never reach anyone, and if you do they will say they'll call/email you back but never do. I could honestly write a book about how terrible this experience has been but to try and keep it short, I'll do a list to give anyone who is considering some insight. -Staring with the real kicker, they took an additional $1600 out of our account on top of our rent, for what reason? Who knows. We received no explanation or apology. It took them a month to refund us. This could quite literally RUIN peoples lives but they could not be bothered. Extremely inconsiderate, illegal, and ridiculous. -Locked outside/inside our unit multiple times because the door needs to be replaced but they won't (the latches between door and wall kept coming loose so to get out of our unit we had to pry it open with a butter knife, or to get inside we had to call CLV a million times and wait for a maintenance person to come) *extreme fire hazard to be locked inside a unit, unable to exit* -Charged us every month for locker charges even though we asked for (literally) six months for this to be removed and refunded. -Dealt with roaches, and ants. I mean killing about 10 roaches a day for months. So we had to go through I think 6-7 exterminations, which included removing everything from all the cupboards and drawers in the kitchen and bathroom. And vacating our unit with our dogs each time. (This was clearly a known issue before, hence the roach bait in the kitchen when we moved in, and painted over dead roaches) -The overall condition of the units is not good either. They just slap paint on everything without actually cleaning. There was dead roaches in the bathroom that were painted over. Hair on the wall painted over. Someones 'happy birthday' stickers in the living room painted over. If its raining then the big window in the living room leaks (a lot) so don't use the ledge because it'll ruin your stuff. -If you're like us and felt this was one of the only dog friendly places, it is still not worth it. The "dog run" advertised is a little fenced in area, with huge holes, and dog poop everywhere (not necessarily CLV Groups fault because people should be picking up after their dogs, but perhaps consider filling in the holes so people don't break their ankles). -The smoke alarm wasn't even in working condition for the first few months we were here. -I have spent days trying to contact someone. I have screenshots of calling all their numbers on the website, multiple times, and never getting through to anyone. Basically if you want to live here, plan to pay more than your rent, not actually be able to access your unit, never be able to get help or assistance, have your vehicle get hit 4+ times, deal with ignorant people, and never ever receive an apology. read more

For the last year, I have lived in an apartment owned by CLV Group; I have had a fantastic experience. I was living overseas while applying to live in the building, CLV Group made the transition easy, and they were extremely helpful. During my time living in the building, I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Any questions I had were answered quickly and efficiently by staff members in the office. CLV and its parent company Interrent REIT are lying monsters. If you work for them and are fired they will also evict you. If you are a tenant they will renovict by ignoring urgent repairs if your rent is reasonable and they can jack it up. I have many neighbours who've been harassed and abused by them. Don't rent from CLV / Interrent REIT and don't work for them. read more

Horrible company with horrible policies. Staff have no clue how to relay instructions and they are thieves. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY !!!!
