I have lived in one of their rental townhouses for 2 years now. I would never recommend this company to anyone. the owner Fernando Bada is very ignorant and argumentative. I haven't had many complaints , but when I did, it was like pulling teeth to get anything fixed properly. the housing that they manage are one step up from slums. I have always paid my rent on time and never had any issues regarding payments. I'm moving out for good next month and would never move back. These are decent landlords. I live in one of their houses right now and they've always been courteous, professional and available.

3-year tenant here and the company has been fine. Hot water tank died and they had people here in hours and the replacement model was nice quality energy star, not the basic/cheapest. Chimney was damaged in an ice storm and they worked with our condo corp for us and a guy came over quickly too. I am not giving 5 stars because for some semi-minor things, like a brownish water mark developed on the ceiling (not dripping) and I had to call twice and be more patient than I wanted, I guess because it's 'cosmetic' lol... when their guy did come he found the problem and made a full-on replacement of the entire area instead of just slapping a patch over it so i thought that was good. Some of the units they showed were tired, maybe they hadn't been refurbished yet but Gerry was happy to take us to several properties and no pressure. The one we selected was spotless and below the average rents of the area although $50 more than their cheapest ones. They seem conscious about safety, they send someone round to inspect smoke alarms and CO2 annually and they're understanding of our schedules and come at our convenience. If they were gouging top-dollar maybe I'd be fussier but that's not the case at all so what can I say, the rent is reasonable and so is the service. read more

If you are looking to rent for a low price, it is a great opportunity, however if you are looking for a nice place to live that you can call `home`with helpful landlord, then you should run from this company as fast as you can. If you do rent from them, you are going to be stuck with very rude landlord and terrible services. You'll end up fixing up the whole property by yourself at your own expense, you'll have a toilet or bathtub leaking on your dining room table and landlord, who is apparently a plumber at the same time is going to tell you that it is your imagination, you will be stuck without water during winter because your pipes would freeze and the same landlord will come, touch your floors next to the pipe and would tell you that those pipes are frozen and you have to wait till it wamrs up outside and it will thaw, then they are going to give you really hard time to get out of the rent, thought you've submitted your notice in time by fax, but they `wouldn't receive it` magically, though you will have your confirmation that the fax did go through and after you move out they will call you and tell you that they are going to charge you for a dishwasher, fridge and carpet that they apparently gave you new and you replaced it by the old one.. So if you are up for that type of fun and adventure in your life, you should definitely rent it from Centa Real Estate. read more
