THE MOST AMAZING PEOPLE at the most needed time in my life. We hired Clutter and Hoarding Pros to clean out my parents home after they both passed away suddenly. Michelle got back to us immediately and got us set up for cleanup just days after calling. She sent us the most amazing team of people to my parents home and they carefully and thoughtfully separated items into bins as requested for keeping. I just couldn't handle this so soon after their deaths to go through all their things and these Pros did it all for me so that I could take my time and go through the things all separated out and organized at another time. This would have taken me MONTHS to go through and do myself and they did this in basically 4-5 days. I mean WOW!!! Wow... the ease this gave me. I can not say enough about the service from this business. It was really incredible what they did! First of all, obviously I was dreading this. This was 30 years of my parents lives and one of them was a (shall we say pack rat), and there is a lot of shame and stress that comes with removal of junk like this. It's very scary and I had my mother with me and I was imagining all kinds of things. When Michael showed up, he was smiling and so gentle and sweet assuring me he's seen it all and not to worry. I was expecting to only get one room cleaned out, Michael and his team member cleaned out the entire garage in two hours and it was so full before that you couldn't even walk. I am so impressed with and grateful for the work of Michelle, Michael, and Tony. My mom is elderly and we needed help clearing out her hoarded home so we can provide her with a safe and clean living environment. We hired Clutter and Hoarding Pros to clean out our aunt's house which contained in some areas, 30 plus years of clutter and hoarders mess, and have not regretted our decision. Michelle, the owner, was very prompt and thorough in responding to our all of initial questions and worked with our schedule to setup an immediate on-site walk through. Once done, we were given a price quote in a timely manner and set a date for the process to begin. When told that it would take 3 days to clean out, we were surprised because this was a job that required not only the 4 bedrooms to be completely emptied with carpeting removed, but also included the rest of the house (kitchen, bath, dining, living, and family rooms, garage, and back yard). Additionally, there was going to be a separate haul-away of any scrap metal being tossed out. We thought it would take longer, but they were able to complete the entire job in that time frame. These folks are pros and know their business! Their pricing seemed reasonable considering that besides the removal of the mess, they were also going to work with us in terms of what could be tossed or saved, as well as thumb through the numerous books in order to search for possible hidden money (apparently a common thing with some older folks). This can be time consuming as it kind of brings the whole flow of work to a slowdown, but even factoring in that, they were able to get the job done on time. The crew assigned to our job, Michael, Jose, and Rasha, were wonderful to work with, arrived every day on time, and worked feverishly the time they were there. They were very non-judgmental and compassionate about our aunt's situation with the house. Additionally, Tony and his crew, who came out separately to haul away all the scrap metal, were also great to work with. I have been a realtor in the Long Beach/Lakewood area for over 19 years and have used Michelle's services in the past for our client listings of highly cluttered homes. They are definitely miracle workers....I was embarrassed to show them the apartment I needed cleaned...it was a 'disaster area'... and I'm not kidding!...it was awful! But both Michelle and Michael assured me that they had seen worse and could handle it....so I trusted them. I will be eternally grateful to them and the team...oh my goodness, they changed that chaotic, cluttered 'hoarder's dream' apartment into a light and airy , darling apartment, that anyone would be proud to rent. They are amazing.!!! When Michael sent me the 'after' photos of the apartment , I didn't even recognize it at first..it was so cleaned up and cleared out that it even looked as if it had been repainted. I nearly cried tears of joy and disbelief...The nightmare apartment is now a renter's dream. What an incredible display of tireless effort, devotion to the job at hand, work ethics, and dependability....WOW! They are truly miracle workers.
