Had a great experience with Junk Buster Hauling. Mikey and Michael are a great father/son team and were incredibly quick, responsive and easy to work with. I needed help clearing out a commercial unit on pretty short notice and had a tight timeline to get everything done. They really knocked it out of the park. Really glad I was able to support a great local business. Would definitely recommend Junk Buster Hauling to anyone who needs junk removal or hauling. read more

After our movers suddenly informed us that they'd have to leave some of our larger items behind for our out-of-state move, I wasn't sure how I'd get them off of my landlord's property. I sent a few photos of the items to Michael who got back to me in a few minutes with a quote. He worked with me on pricing, and arrived 30 minutes later! These guys are the best! Awesome father and son team local to the area. Probably the nicest and most down to earth folks you could meet. Since I found them 5 years ago, they've been my go to for getting rid of big items. Just had them out again today, and thoroughly enjoyed having them out. And their prices are fair and they respond lightening fast and were even able to fit me in same day. I honestly can't say enough good things about them! read more

Update- now I'm receiving the strangest messages from Mike (?). I honestly thought I might be overthinking my first review of 1 star so I updated it to 3. But now I'm receiving messages at 1am claiming I'm someone else! Arguing about the situation. It's getting weird, people! He sent screen shots of a convo with another person with a 949 area code and the phone number displayed so I've added those with the number scribbled out. WEIRD! I considered using Junk Buster Hauling for a couch removal. I was set on them because of reviews and the initial convo with them a year ago. They seemed friendly and loved that they were a family business that was local. I reached out to them a year later. I know the timing was longer but after flooding in SB my plans went on hold. I reached out again on a Wednesday about a haul on Saturday and received a not so friendly message. 3 days later! Not last minute like he claims. They asked me to text them pictures and they would give a quote via text. The price was over double what I initially received. I suspect they asked to text since Yelp has a pricing policy. BUT they asked for a deposit by Zelle before the job to secure my spot. I reached out to 20+ haulers and NOBODY asked for a deposit to secure my spot. 100 Junk was $100 less. I told them I felt like it was a scam and I didn't feel comfortable sending non-refundable money before a job. They continued to text trying to convince me it was a good idea. I do not recommend this hauler for your needs. I used Helpful Haulers who were AMAZING! And much more affordable. read more

Found this small family business on Yelp. They were punctual, professional, quick, and offered a great price for the amount of things I needed hauled away. This company is purely awesome. A family company. I met Michael and his two sons (if I'm correct). Very sweet and professional men. I had a portable AC unit that I had no where to donate due to the Covid stuff so I looked up a place to remove it. This was the first junk removal company that came up and they were wonderful. Give them a call and they'll ask you to send them pictures of all your items you need removed. They'll give you an estimate almost immediately. They accept cash, check, credit/debit. Credit/debit had a small fee. Please contact this great business if you have items or anything you need removed if you're unable to remove/donate/discard yourself. I will definitely use them again...possibly for our couch. read more

These guys are amazing! My husband and I were in our garage late last night at 11pm trying to empty our entire home. We needed to be out the next day! As you can imagine, we had a huge pile of junk we needed to get rid of and our garbage company had already come out the day before to haul a bunch of our stuff. I was desperate and on the verge of a mental breakdown. HAHA! I called Junk Buster's and was surprised to hear from Michael! He was very professional and walked me through the steps. Next thing the next morning, he and his son Mikey came with their truck to quickly haul it all away! They were so quick and efficient (Michael is a TETRIS MASTERMIND!) and got our stuff out as quickly as they came! Will definitely be hiring them again! I was moving out of my apartment in Long Beach and needed my old mattress, box spring, and small table disposed of. I did not want to be like most of the tenants in my complex and just leave the items at the garbage dumpster. Searched Yelp for a responsible company and found Michael & Mikey. I texted them on Monday for a quote and arranged for pickup the next morning. Price was reasonable and I knew the items were going to get hauled to a dump site and properly disposed of. The main elevator was non-operational, so Michael and Mikey had to go down two flights of stairs. They were always extremely professional and friendly. They got straight to work and removed the items in a quick fashion. Paid easily via the Zelle app. Pleasure to work with. read more
