Derek gave me a fair deal for my beloved BMW, but more importantly, at 9 months pregnant, made the process very easy and efficient. I was looking for a very specific replacement vehicle, but if I was aware of this place sooner, I bet they could have found it for me and I would have happily done both sides of the transaction with them. They have really nice cars on site, and a great business model. Highly recommend whether you are buying or selling a quality vehicle.

Made me feel as if I was buying from a friend and I appreciated the fact that he was down to earth and friendly. Even encouraged me not to buy the car right away but to take some time to think about it. I was really impressed by that. I bought a Land Rover, which I know have been known to have computer problems. He assured me that he knew the owner and that the car had been taken care of. When I pulled the car fax it confirmed that the car had been only serviced at the Land Rover Dealership. He recommended a company to give me a warranty and had them call me to even set it up. I'm appreciative and would definitely recommend Auto Warehouse to anyone looking for a great used car

Come by take a look at the selection and speak to the honest and friendly folks at this small privately family-owned used car dealer. Selection of cars: Few dozen of mostly sedans including compacts, mid-sizes and full, as well as some SUVs. Mix of Asian and American brands. Most are considered staples (workhorses) intended for the daily needs of the working and lower middle class. People behind it: Friendly, understanding and patient - through and through. Mike, the owner, a very charismatic gentleman that is very social and easy to talk to. He has owned the place for many decades. Despite all the years in the business, he remains humble and empathetic, down to earth. When it comes to him, you can freely speak your mind. If you show him your genuine and good heart, he will do his best to accommodate and give you a good offer. Michelle, who is responsible for financial operations, and Nicole, assistant are friendly, helpful, patient and understanding. Christian & Julio, the handymen taking care of the cars. Friendly and hardworking fellows. Facility: Yes, the exterior looks much better and no doubt the interior definitely needs work and the carpeting needs replacement. Personal story: I was in the market for an affordable vehicle that met certain criteria's like budget, mileage limit, and some tech spec. minimum like a rear-view camera. And I found the one that met all my criteria/expectations. I had some delays in procuring the car because my bank doesn't have a branch in Chicago and it took awhile to receive a cashiers check and then also because of my extremely busy schedule. Economy auto mart was very patient and understanding and held my car as sold for 2 weeks until I had everything ready to go.

Before I start this review, I'll say that the sales person Tracy was a sweetheart. Super nice and…read moreshe did try her best to get us close to the number the online sales rep Daniela told me. I saw the car on cars.com and emailed the dealer. They get back to me and I ask for an out the door price as I was paying cash no financing. Car was listed at 24,500. Daniela sends me a link and the price came out to 27k per their website(including tax title license etc..). I figured I'll get there and maybe negotiate it down to 26 or 26500. 2023 hrv btw. Finally find time to get there within a week of initial contact, and was greeted by Tracy. Again, she was not part of anything that happened previously and was very helpful. We test drive the car and all was good to go..until she told me the OTD price was 31,000! Their online sales rep left out all the extra fees they charge and seeing a 7k markup on a prelude while waiting in showroom should've been a huge red flag. Online sales rep lured us to the dealer in hopes that I'll be stupid enough to pay close to 5k over what I was initially told. 3k cpo fee, 2k PDI fee which was conveniently left out from the online sales rep Daniela. Horrible business practice. Tracy did try to get the number down but we were way too far apart in price. A staunch reminder of why I do not shop in the city for cars and will never do it again. Do not recommend at all.

Right after they switched to the Murgado brand, I brought my Ford Escape in for an oil change back in January of this year. I noticed immediately after the oil change that the plastic tray that covers the bottom of the engine would fall off and drag on the road. I bought some additional screws and that held me over until the cover continued to lose the screws and detach and today I asked them to fix it when I came in for my scheduled oil change. Parallel to this, I asked them to check a seatbelt in the rear that wouldn't retract. They said it'd be $280 for the diagnosis and the majority of the time, they can fix it. Okay. They have my car all day and tell me I have 45 minutes to come pick it up because they close at 6 unless I want to wait until tomorrow. They said it'd be $1200 to replace the seatbelt (they couldn't fix it) and $600 to replace the bottom cover. I denied both. I talked to my service advisor, David and explained that they caused the issue with the bottom cover and he lied to me and said they didn't need to remove the cover for an oil change. He also said they couldn't cut the part hanging off because it was covering a key part of the engine protecting it which also ended up being false. They also charged me $30 to put new screws in without fixing the problem. When I arrived and complained to the manager, they did nothing to fix the issue (saying the car was "old") and still charged me $440 for the oil change, 3 screws and seatbelt diagnosis Oh, and did I mention when I looked at the bottom and did a small minor tug, one of the screws came right out. I also disassembled the back seatbelt myself, and I fixed it within 2 minutes of messing with it. I'll never be back. UPDATE: I took the cover off the broken seatbelt and messed with it for 5 minutes and was able to fix it. I asked the service manager for a refund for the $280 and they said they'd send me a check. 20 days later, I never got the check, so enjoy the chargeback on my credit card. STAY AWAY!

They also attach $1695.00 for the installation of a tracking device. Salesman August presented the tracking device as an optional benefit during his sales pitch for their prepaid maintenance scam*, the full term of which cost $1695 as well. Other fees attached that are apparently common practice at ALL 60 Victory owned dealerships across the country. When we pushed back on the inclusion of the two $1695 up charges, they were willing to remove the prepaid maintenance. When pushed about the tracking device, August asked if we could see any benefit to the device. When we said, "No," August got a blank look on his face, and then repeated his question. We were still "no," which just lead to another blank look and another ask about seeing the benefit. They were willing to reduce the cost of the tracking device down to $699, which they claim is their cost. It took roughly a minute for August to discuss with his manager and return with that offer, so apparently we're not the first to wonder about it. The manager would later come out, and attempt to budge me from my budget. I set a hard top, and the manager, maybe named Peter, kept coming down, and ignoring our concerns about the tracking device. We finally just left, saying we were sorry for wasting their time. About 15 minutes after we left, I got a call from a number that my phone reported was a Chicago masked number, which I ignored because I was driving. It was a voice mail that started, "Hello (my name), this is Peter Gabriel..." and I got skeptical but excited as a huge Peter Gabriel fan. ;-). But he continued, "From Victory Honda. ... I was just calling to let you know I was able to get you down to the (price) that you're looking at I did some maneuvers and give you more money for your trade somebody able to do that for you if you found that the best deal please come back and get the car would like to own your business again I did it for (price) like you asked for thank you and have a wonderful night my phone number is ..." Apparently, these tactics are common across all Victory dealerships. Nitrogen tire fills for Toyotas that have no need, "Optional" tracking devices universally preinstalled, inflated tire lock pricing, passing their costs as additional costs instead of quoting accurate prices on their website.
