Whatever it is that you find here, just know it will be flavorful. You can buy jerky, a sandwich,…read morehot dog, etc. Friends from out of town love the crack corn. The service is fast and good, the employees engage and give samples. My family has come here for over 20 years. It has expanded and shifted, a Josephine County -country- staple. Could be a tad cleaner at times in areas where people dine/freshen up, but I believe that has to do with the amount of traffic the store receives. I always see whoever is working, working hard. *Dog friendly patio* *Public restroom, baby changing table inside*

YOU NEVER SAUSAGE A PLACE!!…read more I stop here whenever I am passing through the area. The place is very large. It's a full on meat store. They have sausage, of course, steaks, seafood, poultry, jerky, the works. They have a hard jerky and a soft jerky. I thought the hard jerky was too hard for me, but the soft jerky was perfect. I picked up some of the brisket jerky, the Japanese jerky, and their original jerky. Some of the items they make themselves, some of the items are brought in, but everything is good. They also have wines, sauces, condiments, the works. They also have a full on lunch counter, and in the back, for the kids or the kids at heart, they even have classic video games. Not only donkey Kong, but things such as pole position! They are $.50 now, instead of just a quarter, though.... I had the mushroom Swiss burger, with coleslaw, instead of fries on the side. The burger was done, medium, as I asked, and it was delicious! The coleslaw was very good, it was lightly dressed, and it was like a vinegar type dressing. The dressing wasn't too strong, it was just right. Lunch was a very large portion. Besides the jerky, I also got a blueberry sausage, and a chicken apple sausage, those are going to be excellent. For the quality of the things that you get get, the prices are reasonable. I will continue to stop here whenever I am passing through town. Thank you.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The outdoor terrace creates such a romantic atmosphere…read more My bestie ordered the Wagyu beef brisket, which had a Mexican twist--an ancho chili barbecue sauce, tomatoes, and capers! My flounder dish was unforgettable, though I can't recall the exact accompaniments. The fish was drizzled with a delicious soy-based broth, and both my husband and I agreed it was the standout dish of the night. We also tried the fried pork belly (no photo) and passion fruit panna cotta! This panna cotta was unlike any I've ever had--absolutely delicious! Highly recommended, 10 out of 10!

Birthday dinner ... food was outstanding for everyone at my table…read more Missed opportunities for great service: * quite dead flower in the table vase; I had to ask for them to be removed, and they weren't replaced. * Asked for wine suggestion with my tri-tip entrée, and received a great pinot noir ... but in a slim white wine glass. When I asked for a red wine glass, server says "but I brought the glass they gave me at the bar." A few minutes later, a red wine glass is slammed on the table. No removal and re-pour. * At end of meal, a different server appears and asks how everything was. We made honest compliments about excellent food, and when I added "Sorry to be fussy about the wine glass, but it makes a huge difference to me," server says "Hey, we'd give you a sippy-cup if that's what you wanted." We'll find other places to eat in the future.
