    Brisket

I was silly to think a knife was needed in the utensil pack because the brisket was so tender! Delicious all around! I ordered the spicy brisket plate with beans and potato salad. It was a great combination. Then I tasted one of the burnt ends, and oh my gosh that was good, perfect smoke flavor! Sorry to see the meal gone and will go back again soon!

Came to Grants Pass Oregon to visit friends and stopped here at Leo's on the side of Rogue River Hwy, since our Airbnb was down the way... Was not disappointed! Ordered a full slab of ribs and half a pound of brisket and some sides. Absolutely delicious! Ribs were full of flavor could taste the smokiness of not sure if it was mesquite maybe hickory but whatever he uses did it! Brisket was a perfect mixture of fatty and lean pieces. A definite must try if you're out this way and want some tasty bbq and great service!

It's a trendy spot with nice staff as well as creative food pairings that taste great. It took 30 minutes to reach our table. We were encouraged and excited to try the food and then we were weirdly disappointed. No flavor. I understand farm to table, but zero flavor. Hot sauce was offered. I accepted. Helped out. My husband's Ruben wasn't what he was expecting. The meat was dry and had no flavor. Strange, because usually a Ruben sandwich has a lot of roasted flavor. He said it tasted like dry roast beef. Had a lot of picture quality, but not much else.

What an amazing experience at DASSH Bakery in Grants Pass!…read more From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the owners, a husband-and-wife team who clearly pour their hearts into this bakery. Everything is made fresh, and you can absolutely taste the difference. We ordered the Local Bagel, and it was phenomenal. It had bacon, aioli, and a variety of fresh ingredients that came together perfectly. I honestly can't remember everything that was on it because I was too busy enjoying it! The bagel itself was fresh-made and absolutely delicious. We also tried the ham bagel sandwich with cheddar, ham, and honey mustard, and it was just as fantastic. Every ingredient tasted fresh and high quality. For a sweet treat, we had the blueberry scone, and it was perfection--flavorful, tender, and clearly made from scratch. Their coffee menu is impressive as well. They can make just about any latte you want and offer a great selection of syrups, including cookie butter, vanilla, lavender, and many more. They also have plenty of milk options, including oat milk, almond milk, whole milk, and regular milk. The bakery itself was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and very inviting. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with outdoor seating available, including two two-top tables and a larger six-top table, making it a great place to relax and enjoy your food and coffee. The service was impeccable. Since the bakery is run by the owners themselves, things may take a little longer during busy times, but that wasn't an issue at all for us. The care, attention, and quality they put into every order are well worth the wait. If you're in Grants Pass, DASSH Bakery is an absolute must-visit. Fresh-made food, outstanding coffee, a clean and comfortable atmosphere, and wonderful owners who truly care about their customers. Easily a five-star experience, and we'll definitely be back! Ended up striking up a conversation with one of the employees, Blade, who was fantastic. We mentioned how much we admired the potted floral arrangements lining the patio, every detail felt so intentional and looked absolutely beautiful. Blade gave credit to one of the owners, Elvie Cartwright. Well Elvie, if you see this: you have an incredible green thumb and an artist's eye for beauty. Kudos. Our seating was in the bar downstairs which was very busy and noisy which was ok for 2 of us unfortunately 2 of our party were deaf and that was an issue for visiting. Our dinners: clam linguine, small clams in butter wine sauce was good, lots of broth and noodles could have had more clams. Dinner salads were great, big, crisp and fresh. Hubby had the meatballs with whipped potatoes, not a big meal but very tasty. I often buy ribeye steaks at the Cartwright's market and they are wonderful. Cartwright's owns Taprock restaurant so I figured that's the steak they'd serve but no it was thin and tough like a top round steak, it was cooked med rare that I ordered. It wasn't cheap, won't order again. Margaritas were very good. Service was excellent and there was lots of hired help in all areas. Our waitress was attentive, personable and we enjoyed her service.

I asked if the coffee was any good. "Yep". Lie - Mcdonald's makes better coffee. Don't knock McDs unless you've tried theirs. The waitress did go out of her way to provide hot water so I could thin the tar. In general THE 2, 2 & 2 breakfast was satisfying. I couldn't finish eating the two pancakes they were so big (& also only OK on favor), my two over easy eggs were incredibly yummy and for my two pieces of pig I went with bacon. That was a mistake on my part. I only sampled the bacon since I'd totally pigged out at an brunch buffet eating half a dozen rashers only the day before. Not to waste Wonder Bur's thick sliced bacon which also seemed to be extra long I took them with me to enjoy later & I did.
