Inside, there is a beautiful meat case and seafood, and a nice selection of some top shelf wine and champagne. I would definitely be a regular if I were local!

Anyways, here are a few pictures of the carnage we basked in today. So, SO delicious. As always, their service is top-notch to match their product. The dining area inside Weekend Brewery is very clean, comfortable and the patrons are all great- many of them friendly and chatty. IMO Valentino's has one of the top 3 pastrami sandwiches here in GP (along with Cartwrights and Big Block Sandwich Shop) and my vote is, though all three are formidably delicious, Valentino's ranks # not just in Quality but Quantity. Their French Fries are also #1 here in GP. Just the right color, texture and flavor and just the right amt of salt. Mmmmmmm.... (btw, I took half my sandwich and fries home) Meanwhile, my wife RAVED about her Grilled Chicken salad, and she would order it again in a heartbeat. A good time was had by all at Valentino's. Again!

We also tried their potato salad, coleslaw and macaroni salad for the sides. Generally the meats were good (not the best). Tri-tip was over cooked, kalua pork too salty for my taste. The chicken was nice with a good smoky hit and the pineapple meatballs wonderful and moist. Their BBQ sauce is really good too. The potato salad was nice and creamy with tender potato pieces. The macaroni salad was perfect. The coleslaw was great too but wifey thought it too vinegary. I am having them bud on a 50 person event and we shall see how they do. Truth...

The part of the plate that wasn't dominated by melty goodness was filled with with well-seasoned and crisp homemade fries. I could smell how delicious everything was the moment the moment the plate was set down in front of me. Flavor & texture of all the things exceeded expectations. The patty melt had layers of crispy fried onions that made for a lovely and tasty first-bite surprise, & continued to bring joy with each subsequent bite. We were both commenting how good everything was: breakfast burrito came with a side of pico style salsa which was the perfect foil for the richness of the insides, which were egg, potato, ham, bacon, sausage and a little gravy. This was seriously yummy and needed that pop of acid from the salsa so great together, nice one. The mushroom Swiss had a nice char from the flat top and fries were crispy and fresh tasting. All-in-all a pretty flawless execution for reasonable price and the portions were definitely large enough to share. We will be back to try more of the menu. Getting the jalapeño on the side was also a great addition in hindsight. No charge for that and they grilled it to take down the heat a bit. What else do you want from a little place like this? I think they are doing it right. So far so good.

Door Dash does a great deliver service, and Sweet Tea Express, just knocks the ball out of the park. My wife had ordered an egg, sausage and 1/2 order of Biscuits n Gravy, and was likewise very pleased. And being as we don't live very far away from the business, it arrived hot...and simply delicious.
