Previously, the hot mat room was much smaller, so I was happy to see more spots available in the hot mat class. Immediately upon arrival, I was greeted at the door to check-in. There are cubbies outside of the hot mat room to put your bag and shoes, and the room has all of the equipment needed for the class. Nina was my instructor and she killed it! I definitely felt the burn this morning with how many pulses she made us do! I didn't get a good look at the new reformer room, but I'm hoping to take a reformer class there in the near future!

It is a very nice and clean studio and the classes are small, usually around 5 or 6 people and no more than 8. The utilize both the tower and the mat. With the classes being small, the instructors can watch and make sure that you are doing all of the moves correctly. Although you are paying more than you would at a gym, it is completely worth it as the quality of instruction is that much better. You get a better deal if you buy the classes in packages. They have classes ranging from beginner to advanced at all times of the day. They also offer private, duet, and trio classes in which you can utilize the reformers. You can conveniently sign-up and pay for classes online. Pilates is a great way to increase core strength and flexibility. It is also a great way to switch up your routine from weights and cardio. I would definitely recommend the Pilates Loft to anyone who wants to give pilates a try :)

I love when an instructor isnt judgemental but is helpful and inspirational and she was all of those things. The women in class were nice. It seems like many of them have been going there snd are familiar with one another. After class a few women made it a point to talk to me and made me feel welcome. It gives off a very community driven location which is something we should all be looking for in a fitness studio.

The Bar Method is the first and (so far) only place that has motivated me enough to stay consistent with a workout routine. Before choosing The Bar Method, my workout buddy and I had tried other Barre/Pilates places. You pick your spot online and they provide the weights and yoga blocks for the class. The studio provides lockers to keep your stuff in, all you have to bring is your own yoga mat, grippy socks, towel, and water bottle!! Inside the hot mat studio its around 100 degrees so the towel definitely comes in handy, you WILL sweat. Cute little studio and all of the employees were so nice. From the size of the classes and amazing instructors I truly found a workout routine that not only motivates me but is starting to make me feel confident in my body! I love that the classes are never too big so even though it's a group workout you still get personal attention when you need assistance and guidance. The music varies in a good way. The only thing I wish is that my location had more options in class variety outside of level 1 and 2. I called at 10:53 am (so last minute pardon again, I had to go to Miami for a week today on short notice) So I am explaining this to her and she explains to me that tomorrow ends their promotion of enrolling for 0.25 cents and that after that it would be regular price of $99. I stated that's fine if anything I'll just do free first time in Miami (I have a bestfriend that is a loyal customer and she's the one who introduced me to Hotworx hence why I was going to go today) I was telling her thats fine I'll have to pay regular price so I will do first time free in Miami and then I wanna schedule with you --- She interrupted me and said okay then have a beautiful day (condescending attitude) and clicked. I was in shock so I called back cause I just wanted to make an appointment for when I return back to Orlando so in one week. She answered and she's like how May I help you I said sweetheart you didn't let me finish talking I wasn't done. She said uh well you told me you were going to go to Miami and I said yes and I still wasn't done talking she does a sigh remark very immature and I'm like you know what forget this. Cause why would I go to a place knowing she's the manager there and with that attitude? I would not put myself thru that toxicity. Not to say the environment or place is toxic. The workouts are fire! You don't realize how hard you're working when you are literally moving in inch increments. The instructors are incredibly helpful with your form, so you constantly get the best workout, leading to the best results. Night and day difference. I absolutely love this studio; I love these girls and love this community! If you are looking for something new, looking to be challenged, a new community of uplifting, powerful individuals, then look no further. You already found it. I am not going to lie; these classes are not easy, but you can do it, and no one wants an "easy" workout. People of all ages and all sizes take these classes. We may be at different levels of our workouts, but everyone is 100% capable of doing PB. The magic is in the small, tiny, INCH (literally an inch, think of a ruler, an INCH) movements. The way you build muscle and core strength overtime is insane! I can't explain it; you just have to do it. Each class is different than the day before keeping classes exciting and not burned out. Each class is about 50 mins long and I promise, you will be 'inching' for more, later. If you read this entire review, just take a class. I know you're hooked :)

I started at Pure Barre in December. There were a few discrepancies but nothing that couldn't be…read moreovercome with patience. Like hearing the instructor over the music, understanding how to transition into certain moves, and of course not know that Black Barre Challenge can only be completed if you completed it every month of the whole year. To start with they have something called a "Foundations" class. The goal is teach you the basics done throughout a "Classic" Barre class. Im assuming also that you should have an idea of their infamous position "the tuck" somewhat down by the time you leave. There is a tour and you should leave with a basic understanding of Pure Barre is about. At this class they should probably go over in depth the "Black Barre Challenge". I didn't know about this until I was two months into the studio. I left the class thinking that was simple but I knew they advertised as a gym that is "high intensity, with low impact". Low impact was essential since I am still healing from a spinal injury. Here lies the issue there are tons of bending and twisting motions that have to completed during classes. Which consist of: Classic: Basic Total Body Workout Empower: All about the Cardio Reform: All the Resistance Feels I was getting discouraged because I wasn't feeling a lot of the moves at the bar because I couldn't bend far. Therefore I was happy after talking to my Orthopedic surgeon about the difficulties I was facing. He explained its because I haven't been rehabilitated fully yet. After physical therapy I will be ready to go and could start rebuilding my core with Barre! Happy to hear the news because I specifically went on a monthly membership which I was told I "COULD CANCEL AT ANYTIME". BTW when you sign the documentation it's all on their computer so DO NOT take the representatives word on explaining how the membership works. It's a 31 day process. You will be out of a months dues. To give you an idea if their membership is 169.00. When I first called to email their emails came back with delivery issues and now than there is just a game of phone tag back and forth. Today the pulled for the FULL amount of dues after playing phone tag back and forth the past three weeks. In all honesty I'm just so disappointed with this studio. I would've returned after six weeks of PT had they just cared about their customers enough to call or email us back.
