Absolutely incredible studio! Between the workouts and the staff, you just can't go wrong. Everyone is so welcoming, inviting, and instantly makes you feel right at home. The workouts are fire! You don't realize how hard you're working when you are literally moving in inch increments. The instructors are incredibly helpful with your form, so you constantly get the best workout, leading to the best results. Night and day difference. I absolutely love this studio; I love these girls and love this community! If you are looking for something new, looking to be challenged, a new community of uplifting, powerful individuals, then look no further. You already found it. I am not going to lie; these classes are not easy, but you can do it, and no one wants an "easy" workout. People of all ages and all sizes take these classes. We may be at different levels of our workouts, but everyone is 100% capable of doing PB. The magic is in the small, tiny, INCH (literally an inch, think of a ruler, an INCH) movements. The way you build muscle and core strength overtime is insane! I can't explain it; you just have to do it. Each class is different than the day before keeping classes exciting and not burned out. I started at Pure Barre in December. There were a few discrepancies but nothing that couldn't be overcome with patience. Like hearing the instructor over the music, understanding how to transition into certain moves, and of course not know that Black Barre Challenge can only be completed if you completed it every month of the whole year. To start with they have something called a "Foundations" class. The goal is teach you the basics done throughout a "Classic" Barre class. Im assuming also that you should have an idea of their infamous position "the tuck" somewhat down by the time you leave. There is a tour and you should leave with a basic understanding of Pure Barre is about. At this class they should probably go over in depth the "Black Barre Challenge". I didn't know about this until I was two months into the studio. I left the class thinking that was simple but I knew they advertised as a gym that is "high intensity, with low impact". Low impact was essential since I am still healing from a spinal injury. Here lies the issue there are tons of bending and twisting motions that have to completed during classes. Which consist of: Classic: Basic Total Body Workout Empower: All about the Cardio Reform: All the Resistance Feels I was getting discouraged because I wasn't feeling a lot of the moves at the bar because I couldn't bend far. Therefore I was happy after talking to my Orthopedic surgeon about the difficulties I was facing. He explained its because I haven't been rehabilitated fully yet. After physical therapy I will be ready to go and could start rebuilding my core with Barre! Happy to hear the news because I specifically went on a monthly membership which I was told I "COULD CANCEL AT ANYTIME". BTW when you sign the documentation it's all on their computer so DO NOT take the representatives word on explaining how the membership works. It's a 31 day process. You will be out of a months dues. To give you an idea if their membership is 169.00. When I first called to email their emails came back with delivery issues and now than there is just a game of phone tag back and forth. Today the pulled for the FULL amount of dues after playing phone tag back and forth the past three weeks. In all honesty I'm just so disappointed with this studio. I would've returned after six weeks of PT had they just cared about their customers enough to call or email us back. read more

She has been charging my account repeatedly after I have given written and verbal notification of my cancellation. This owner is negligent and unprofessional. I have a whole new appreciation for ballerinas. Seriously! I had taken a few barre classes here and there last year but just recently started going on a regular basis since I purchased an unlimited monthly package. I am a true to form cardio gal and am used to more fast paced, dance fitness classes (ahem, Jazzercise!) but this workout seriously has kicked my butt!!! I am intrigued by the whole Lift, Tuck, Burn phenomenon! First of all, I recommend downloading the Pure Barre app to your phone. It makes things soo easy. You can check out the schedule and sign up for classes (a requirement) . They don't allow you to show up without signing up beforehand. You can also cancel but be forewarned that this can only be done up to 2 hrs before class. If you wait any closer, you have to pay a cancellation fee of $15! Crazy!! Another must- Pure Barre grippy socks are required for class. You don't have to buy the PB ones - just make sure you have socks that cover your entire feet and have the little sticky grips on the bottom. They make a world of difference . I would also bring a bottle of water to class because you WILL be working up a sweat. Upon arrival, check in at the desk and then store your personal items in the little cubbies that are provided to you. You will need a ball, set of weights and a hand tube. If the class is full, the employees usually set up the studio prior to clients arriving . In a nutshell, the class is 55 minutes of intense muscle burn! Oh, and some leg shakes too. Can't forget about those shakes! The mental focus and discipline to perfect the techniques are mind boggling. I'm totally not there yet but noticed others who are. I do like that the instructors walk around and will correct your form . I never take offense and actually welcome it. There is no point in doing the class if your form is wrong and ineffective. I would say the classes really help to lengthen and tone your limbs and have been told you can see results in 10 classes. Just prepare for intense soreness well after class. A good sore! There is also a small boutique of high end workout clothing in the lobby of the studio...make sure to follow them on social media. From time to time they will offer specialty classes focused on certain techniques used in class. The intro to Barre class is one I highly recommend since going to Barre for the first time is a little overwhelming. The intro class will help explain and ease you in slow. read more

Lift- tone- burn!!! Regardless if you are a fan of the barre technique, the facilities and instructors get a 5 star rating. This location has a super cute entrance area with a small selection of high end barre clothing including shirts, leggings, socks and exclusive pure barre brand water bottles, bumper stickers, etc. They also have a small curtained dressing room up front. The front desk is always manned by a super friendly secretary or the owner herself, Jordan, and they are ready to answer any and all questions you have! Through a set of french doors is the small prep area where they have benches, cubby holes for your purses, shoes and the class equipment neatly stacked and ready to go. The studio is small compared to giant chain gym classes but reminds me of a traditional ballet studio that's carpeted. They cap the classes at 18 but I have had as little as 4 and as many as 10 in my classes so far and there is always plenty of room. One wall is completely mirrored and a ballet barre lines each long wall. It is amazingly air conditioned (but you'll still work up a sweat) and they have a great sound system and wireless headphone for the instructor. Behind the studio is the bathroom area which is cute, clean and stocked with complimentary perfume and various feminine items. They also have a state of the art water fountain that is designed to fill water bottles. The actual classes last 55 minutes and start and end on the dot. You can register on their website or their handy dandy app and they offer classes at a variety of times, every day. One class is $23 or you can buy monthly packages for a discount. Make sure and call to find out if they are offering any new client specials or even if they will let you try a complimentary class. It's been almost a year since I set foot in this studio for the first time, and the only thing I wish I could change is that I did it sooner. Since I started coming to Pure Barre I've been amazed at the things I can do that I had previously thought were out of my reach. I was strictly a runner until I broke my foot. Once I got the OK to workout again I knew I had to make strength training part of my routine, but nothing I tried kept my attention until I came to the barre. I'm never bored by these classes, because even though I know the general structure of the class, I never know what to expect until the instructor cues up the next exercise. The website is terrible! I have taken classes here before and it used to be an intuitive and easy process. The designer of this website needs additional UX /UI training. The class schedule navigation is fine. Finding out what the "memberships" cost is where the process broke down. It appeared that there are four options available, all with an auto-renew. No single class or packs available, or at least they weren't showing up.This "membership" option is terrible for people who travel. The membership options dont show any pricing information. There is no option to buy these credits or memberships. Everything I click on tells me the same message. At this point, I'm done. This location of Pure Barre has me totally falling in love with working out everyday which is a feat in and of itself! Before I started coming here I had been super off my fitness game - for the sake of honesty, I hadn't worked out consistently in over a year (maybe more)... Yikes. I've been attending classes regularly (anywhere between three and five times a week) now for three months and have seen crazy changes in my body in just a short time. Pure Barre relies on isometric (very tiny) movements that work your muscles out super hard and it is a challenging workout, but it is just as rewarding. Not to be all TMI, but my butt or "seat" as they call it in class has never looked better. I was super intimidated at first because being surrounded by a bunch of attractive Lululemon-clad women has a way of doing that to just about anyone, but this studio is extremely welcoming. The other students have been nothing but really sweet and positive towards me. The teachers here genuinely want to help you get great results and frequently make adjustments to everyone's form in class with a smile. Jordan, the studio manager, teaches classes as well and even went out of her way to break down a couple parts of class to me after class which was a huge help. So, don't be intimidated, and realize that anyone of any shape or size can do this workout. I would say try a class and come with an open mind! I had been wanting to try a barre class for a long time since I felt like I needed to switch up my mostly- running routine. I got lucky and had a friend refer me to pure barre so I was able to get my first class for only $10. The friendly snuggy-wearing lady up front greeted immediately and made me feel very welcome. As soon as the previous class was over, she made sure to introduce me to the instructor. The instructor Jackie gave me a little run down of some of the techniques and lingo. Then it was time for class! It went by soooo fast! I consider myself to be in pretty good shape. I run marathons, strength train regularly, and yoga weekly. But this class sure did challenge me. My legs were literally shaking. I'm scared to wake up tomorrow and try to walk! The facilities are super clean and organized. The instructor was awesome. And overall I had a great time. Best work out I have ever done! I used to dance and missed my dancers body and missed feeling strong. These instructors will motivate you and kick your butt! I can feel and use muscles that I didn't think was possible for me to use! It's great for your physical and mental health, it's an hour of me time to better myself! Having tried other barre classes as part of my ClassPass membership, I can now see the difference from this studio compared to others. It might be the instructor (Heather?) because she was very rushed in giving instruction to the class. Very difficult to follow. Granted this was my first time attending a barre class, so perhaps this was the wrong level for me. If that was the case, I wish the instructor or staff member at the front would have told me that. The other girls in the class were much more progressive than I. Definitely was a good work out and I can see why one would be long and lean, but not for the first time. I just didn't know what it was all about until last night when I was challenged by a friend to sign up and join her for a class after months of hesitation. My friend Brandi F. introduced me to Pure Barre recently. The studio is really beautiful and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I signed up for an unlimited month which as a new member is only $99 for the first month (plus you must buy a pair of barre socks so you don't slide all over the place and you can buy a pair at the studio). This is such a great deal! They recently started a higher pace class called platform which includes using a small platform. This is my favorite class. I love the faster pace and the jumping! All of the classes are about an hour long and I always feel like that hour flies by! I love that they offer so many classes to fit different schedules and even Sunday classes! I have been doing crossfit for a few years now but I still find these classes challenging. There is so much core work and stretching which are so beneficial. I also love that the studio has A/C which is great during these hot afternoons that I prefer not to work out in a warehouse. I have seen members of all ages and sizes and guys are welcome too! The first day I went in they made me feel so welcomed and not at all uncomfortable for not really knowing what was going on. I'm not a fan of big box gyms so when I started to hear about the barre craze I was intrigued. After doing some research I decided to come to this studio, and have been loving it since! The workout is a mix of cardio, yoga, and barre techniques. You definitely get out what you put into these workouts. All the staff/instructors are friendly and helpful. As a off and on athlete my whole life it was interesting to get a new style workout that burned calories in ways I have never experienced in sports, yoga, or cardio based classes before. I really enjoyed my first barre class. I'm usually nervous during exercise classes because they push me out of my comfort zone. While everyone in the class was more advanced than me (I happened to be the newest member that night), I never felt singled out or lost. The instructor was great about giving me feedback and helping me with the movies I couldn't quite grasp. I watched the video on their website so I knew what to expect from the first class, and the video was spot on. I was worried about feeling overwhelmed by the fast pace but I actually enjoyed the challenge. Taking the class made me realize I'm still a long way off from reaching my fitness goals, but if I stick with barre I know I'll see good results (my entire body feels worked)! I really liked my classes here. I loved all of the teachers at this location too. I liked taking classes with Laurel, Jackie, and Rachel. Only mistake I made was signing up for the 12 month unlimited and not going enough. The classes go by quickly which I love- because I could be done with my workout before 7pm. Now I'm moving back home out of state and I wish I could transfer my membership to another pure barre location. It's super expensive. The one other thing I didn't like was their cancellation policy for classes- you have to sign up for class ahead of time and if you do, but decide you want to cancel before a certain time, they charge your account. I've seen this with other workout classes but it seems punitive and it's kind of a turn off. Prevented me from signing up for class sometimes because I don't know if I'll be in the mood after work to go to class, and then I get charged more on top of the high monthly fee. So, my complaint is just with pure barre as a whole and not this location, really. Things like that would definitely prevent me from signing up for a contract again. I will likely just do drop ins here and there at the one near my house in NJ, but like I said they are super expensive (almost $30 for one class!) read more

I am such a Barre believer!! This workout will totally refine your body if you stick with it. Yes it hurts and burns and you will shake and maybe limp around for a day to two but the results are real. It's a pretty pricey work out regimen but totally worth it. The instructor are great and no one judges you or makes you feel uncomfortable. I love Laurel's classes and her personality. She connects with us on a personal level encouraging us to push our limits. In showing me I can really do all the weird bendy stretchy things. Be patient with yourself. Don't be scared away after your first couple classes/sessions or intimidated by everyone else. I learned no one bites lol. I thought with my background of pilates and a little dance I would catch on quick but for the first several classes I was like "how am I the only one that doesn't seem to know what I'm doing" lol you're not alone 2. Be open on how do the positions/moves. Don't assume you know the way right way to do the poses/positions even if you've done bar at another place or took dance/pilates/yoga. I was a devotee at another bar studio but wanted to mix it up here and learned several moves I assumed were the same are not. 3. Be on time, Ultimate I-4 and my slow car clock are the death of me lol. As with all bar studios: These classes start exactly on time, every time. You don't want to be late. I can't say enough good things about Pure Barre or this studio. First about pure barre - it works. You'll always leave sore (in a good way) and will be challenged. I've seen such ridiculous changes in my body, my stamina, my endurance, and my flexibility since starting that I'm probably going to be a PB fanatic for life. Full disclosure - PB plus changes in my diet helped me lose 40 lbs this year. I can't argue with those results. The platform classes people seem to either love or hate. I happen to love them, but then again I HATE cardio, so this is like a nice mix of strength training and cardio in one class. As for this studio, all of the current instructors are amazing. There's was an instructor who only taught Sunday late morning classes when I first started who seemed like she hated being there and couldn't remember anyone's name, but I still got in a good workout. She hasn't taught there in a while though, but everyone else is fantastic. My particular favorites are the resistance band classes and the tuck-and-glow classes. So fun! read more

I started at this location just recently and live the workouts. As a runner, this provides a great alternative to my normal exercise. After 5 classes, I feel stronger than when I used to lift weights. It is a safe and effective method to strength training. Love it so far! read more
