The building is obviously old and when you walk in it looks like going into your granny's living room. Wood paneling everywhere. We were asked about a reservation but they found us a table. It was right by the window so we had a fabulous view of the river. They had a nice menu with lots of options. Along with that is a crock of cheese served with ritz and club crackers. It was good though it did feel like the crackers had been out for a little while. We made our choices from their "favorites" section. They promptly brought the relish tray which was huge for 2 people and had items neither of us eat. It felt like a big waste. But everything was tasted. Most was just ok. The bread was also brought at the same time along with a little cinnamon roll. Food came and was okay. I admit I've had better food. It was unique but it was a little different too. The story of this old mill was amazing and made it seem like we were helping preserve history by supporting this business. But I probably wouldn't seek this out again. Service was good once we actually was acknowledged by the server. Took a beat for her to come to us.

The drinks are cheep and the bartenders are friendly. There is some lounge seating that seems semi-private for a conversation. The local pool league seems to play here and can be entertaining. Otherwise, not much to look at. I do see locals come in for a dinner with family including children before the twilight hours. The wings took about 40 minutes to come out but were good. They had a lot of sauce so if you don't like tons of sauce ask for it in the side. The wings were great and reasonably priced. We also had burgers which were fresh and were very good. I recommend the restaurant for the food, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because our food took about 45 minutes to come out and there were only two families in the restaurant.
